  1. Yeah, and he has small arms and hands. He doesn't look great at anything from what I've watched of him. Here's the opinions of some fans from his ESPN draft grade.
  2. Personally, I don't like his lack of production, and his physical measurables.
  3. I hope he signs. The Panthers need an every down EDGE that can pressure the quarterback.
  4. It's fine, I didn't really like the signing. I would rather find younger guys that could develop.
  5. Great signing. We really needed more tackle depth and potentially a starter.
  6. I can't believe Fitterer bid against himself for Darnold. That was one of the worst self-fleece of all time.
  7. Yeah, he sucked, but damn they have to find someone to be the backup.
  8. They just shipped off their young quarterback. He may not be developed, but he's the only other quarterback on the roster. Russel Wilson is turning 36 this year.
  9. I can't believe they are betting on Rusty. I would have kept Pickett for sure.
  10. Please stop feeding the Chiefs players.
  11. Ooo that really saved the Bears. They needed someone else bad, and Keenan Allen is legit.
  12. All it takes is one down year and half the fans will be calling for them to traded. Remember how fans whined that D.J. Moore was really just a 'number 2' receiver.
  13. Do the Jets even have the cap space? I thought they were still weak at receiver.
  14. Does anyone know what the hell the Bears are doing? Is there any reason they haven't signed any big names? I expected them to improve their receiver room and to add a big name pass-rusher.
  15. It hinges on if they can bring in a veteran like Clowney and if Horn can stay healthy. If so, then it could be a decent defense. If not, then we're going to exposed in the secondary and pass-rush. Having a great run defense won't matter if we can't defend the pass. I'm interested to see if the Panthers can find a corner in the draft that can replace Jackson.
  16. Here's the most recent charts if anyone wants them.
  17. He's kind of the opposite of YGM, but I know what you mean.
  18. Yeah, whatever you have to tell yourself, however you have to make the numbers work in your mind, to equate Brian Burns with DJ Wonnum.
  19. He had a good season last year and as the worst team in the league the Panthers will definitely have to pay the 'bad team' tax. I expect more like 10-13 million a year. Unless he really wants to come home and has his mind made up.
  20. It would be nice, but I think the Panthers will have to give him a multi-year deal. Which I'm all for as long as it has incentives in case he has another down year.
  21. No, we're not debating. You guys are trying to snipe me with dumb gotchas that don't add up to much. I said we would sign multiple bottom of the barrel EDGE players to make up for losing Brian Burns and from that we would have a much poorer pass-rush next season, most likely. You stated we could sign a 10 sack guy, named several, and that it wouldn't be difficult. The only person on this list that's possible is Clowney and it's because he's had an up and down career where every other season he's barely produced. He's a good player that's probably looking for a multi-year contract, but at the risk to the team that signs him as he could have another down season. Please stop wasting my time with your notifications.
  22. Clowney had a good season last year. He's an up and down player, but a solid veteran. I feel at this point he should be ring hunting, but if the Panthers offered a multi-year deal then it would be possible to sign him. Maybe around 10-12 million a year with incentives? Three year deal?
  23. I don't know about excited, like excited excited , but at this point I just want a draft where I can at least understand the picks and what we're trying to do. With Scott Fitterer, I felt lost almost after every pick made, or worse when we traded back leaving players I really coveted on the board. This year I just want to feel like the front office has a well thought out approach. We're rebuilding so I'm not expecting win-now moves at this point.
