The top LT in that draft!

Was his 5th year extended on the rookie contract? How does all this work? Might we end up with him as a one-year QB at the price of those draft picks?

We get a future franchise QB without trading multiple first round picks? Consider me sold.
What are the gas prices like in 2027? I assume you've time travelled back here to give us this "future franchise QB" information.

Wasn't there like a dozen posts before the start of free agency from people whining about how the Panthers never have cap room? Somehow we go on a free agent spending spree, tag Moton and still have among the most cap space in the league.
If anyone needed a reminder, it's great to have Hurney's stench out of Charlotte.

Retiring jersey numbers is such a strange tradition. What happens when you're an original team who has had decades of stars come through? You unretire jersey numbers just so you can actually field enough numbers on a team?
We also have no Super Bowls. Retiring jersey numbers is a bit pretentious.

I don't know why y'all are worried. We got a steal of a LT in the 2019 draft that we were lucky enough to trade up and get outside of the first round. What a steal.

We already have Hurney's #21 ideal pick in the 2019 draft, Greg Little, ready to anchor the left end of the line for the next decade.

Just one notch on the maturity scale above a "you're a virgin" response to a random person you know nothing about. Yikes.

See, that's where your theory goes off the rails. He won't be on last year's team. He will be on whatever is left of it. Which won't be no where as talented or lucky as last year's.
Yeah, his brain couldn't think through that hypothetical critically.

Why are y'all mad?

Patriots had so many opt-outs last year. They'll have a much better roster this year.

He gives his opinion on the team, which is a warm welcome from Richardson who literally never spoke to the public. Speaking of that guy, no one pointed out how terrible he was as an owner until the “Jean day” articles came out and he was forced to sell the team.
You've got amnesia, my dude.

Look at the history of Carolina 1st round drafts. The only three year span that you can argue was worth more than DeShaun Watson were 2011-2013 with Cam/Luke/Star. Only other span with even an argument is 2010-2012 because of Cam and Luke. Note that Watson is a much better QB than Cam. Even Morgan/Peppers/Gross isn't worth as much as DeShaun.
You list no empirical data to arrive at these conclusions. You also willfully omit the fact that drafted players have a relatively minimal cap hit as opposed to veteran, top-tier QBs.
1/10.

Peyton Manning beating our asses in the Super Bowl does kinda undermine this idea.
However, OP has a solid argument
What game did you watch?

The good news? We can upgrade 3 positions and dramatically improve the offense---
1. QB
2. TE
3. LT
Get CMC back and healthy, add a G in free agency--and the offense is tremendously better.
Just wait until the phenom Greg Little develops and we are set at LT. Hurney homerun!
