I take that back Luvu was a bad move imo, but I guess Morgan doesn’t think Luvu will be worth it the next time the panthers are competitive.
Everyone just assumes Frankie wanted to come back. I suspect that was not the case, and I do not blame him.

I think they are going to let Moton play out this year and cut him next offseason.
I am pretty sure we are going to draft a T this year.
What makes you think they would cut Moton? He has been the only stable player on the line for a while.

Glad this part is over. Necessary and deserved and seems to be a decent deal.
Now time to talk to Gilly.

Why continue to play the rookie QB if your big FA TE acquisition is a healthy scratch?!
It was just one of many possible examples of a reason. Evaluation!

Good to see. It will be interesting to see if there are any reprocussions from this.

Big nothing burger in my opinion. Tons of reasons to sit on that team last year. Why risk injury again when we can evaluate someone else with our dismal record?
Plenty of reasons to complain, but I don't think this is a big deal.

I know as fans our expectations on the field are a little high for Shaq, but you can't hate on his commitment to the team. With everything we have been through, that dude strikes me as the one guy who actually is loyal to this franchise. Probably to his own detriment. Keep Pounding Shaq!

I don't think it is fair to make that family endure this franchise any longer.

I'm a little torn on this move
On one hand, I love the trade in a vacuum, we definitely won the trade and fill a big hole with a good player.
On the other hand, he only has this season left on his contract and has been pretty vocal about his displeasure with his QB play the last few years.
If he has a solid season but Bryce still struggles, I could see him refuse to sign an extension and put us right back into the same situation next year of needing a WR and/or dealing with a franchise tag mess.
Was really hoping we'd be able to lock up a #1 WR for the next 3-5 years somehow this offseason, but I guess if we couldn't do that, this is the next best option, right?
He is also in a contract year. He is heavily incentivized to figure it out with Bryce. It either works, or it doesn't. No offense to Donte, but we didn't lose much in this deal. He was gone anyway.

Guess I missed this one?

I loved that he said we are going to become " us ". That is the most encouraging statement I have heard out of Carolina in a while.

I love everything I see and hear about this young man and it further solidifies my feelings for Fitt making the choice. Don't forget about Moton, either. He is a fine tackle in his own right. We should have our bookends for the future here if we are lucky.

It is going to be hard not to think about this any time I hear Mr.Tepper ranting about winning at any cost or how it is the most important thing. Actions speak louder than words, sir.

I heard from a not so credible sourse that Ericsson Stadium is back at on the table.
With all the nostalgia flying around, why not?

Pure speculation, but I would think that if renewing were on the table, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

Ok I can't be the only one who instantly thought of the Arby's guy when I saw and heard Patrick.
I was struggling mightily with this. I was convinced it was him until it ended and he didn't say idunno.

Fitty just got compensation for a guy kinda not even on our roster. That is some next level GMing.

Fitterer said (when asked about Chinn) that Chinn would be used in the big nickel. Then he added that when in the nickel, they would move Horn to nickel. Maybe I am naive, but I do not like that at all. Taking Horn away from the outside WR and replacing him with the #3 CB (Henderson and or Taylor) is not cool. Draft or sign a nickel cb
Coaches and GMs always talk about who is currently on the roster. That may very well be the plan, but with the current roster, he has to say this until we actually draft or sign someone.

They have been cutting them in half for decades it feels like. Obviously not all wings are equal here.
We had to differentiate when they started cutting them in half, and now look at us. All fighting. We should be fighting the dudes who started cutting them in half to begin with. Prices are crazy on wings and they are halfsies.
Flats and drummies is what we settled on as a people it seems. Time to get with it brother.

So...what have you been calling it this whole time?

His daughter is a rapper?

I don't have much to compare it to, but I have liked how Fitterer has handled things so far. I hope he is in the plans going forward.
Sure is exciting knowing he is at the helm and " in on every deal" .

So you walk in the room expecting people to be playing Monopoly, but they are playing poker, so you just setup Monopoly in the corner? I kinda respect it.
