  1. When my dumbass saw this on my phone earlier, I thought Jordan Brand was some agent I didn't know about. In my defense, I was on the verge of heat stroke cutting trees. It hits different when Michael Jordan says you got game.
  2. I mean, I don't wanna do this to either of us, but you know Debbie Downer is 20 years old now? I feel like that reference is older than some posters. I was surprised myself.
  3. Debbie Downer. Some of us are old and make antiquated references.
  4. He definitely is going to get the opportunity, and I remember him doing well when thrust into the fire last year. Wasn't he the guy they said was doing good having the headset and getting the plays in? For what it is worth, he is working out in my Madden Franchise too, haha. He has the Superstar development trait.
  5. I was thinking it was per ticket and it would be randos going, but I speak poor. I see now it may be more geared towards rich and business folks, of which I am not. I will return back to my tar paper shack.
  6. Where did you get that number from? I think it is one game, 10k?
  7. Why move on now? As I understand it, all he is costing us is Tepper's money. Hope for the best.
  8. Let's be optimistic. It won't cost us a dime. Hopefully he makes a full recovery and becomes the player we expected and feels a sense of loyalty to Carolina for sticking with him and believing in him through the darkness. Maybe we get a loyalty discount on his resigning when he makes a Thomas Davis like comeback. Still rooting for you Brooks!
  9. He has fallen off a cliff from what I have read. I would have Shaq back over him right now.
  10. Is that just nostalgia talking? From what I read, he has been a liability lately on tape. He has been getting benched if I recall correctly.
  11. I don't mind this move. If there was a trade, we would have taken it, and that says something. He has been on, what, 6 teams in 7 years? There is a reason for that. I don't remember him from anything he did on the field last year. What I remember most is him talking a bit about Bryce seemingly as soon as he got off the plane. I'm not saying what he said was wrong, just not the type of stuff you say when you are new to the team and have a new, young QB trying to make it here. I wish it were different. Always like our home grown stories, but Clowney just ain't it. Good luck elsewhere.
  12. And yet I argue with folks a lot about not wanting the wrong attitudes in our locker room, haha.
  13. Pickens to Dallas for a 2026 third-round pick. The Cowboys will also send a 2027 fifth-round pick to the Steelers and get back a 2027 sixth-round pick.
  14. Nah, we signed one that seems good on paper. Give the new kid a chance. We don't need this type of stuff here.
  15. He's gonna have to be All-Pro to not get Moss'd in practice
  16. To be honest I am surprised he is still here after the Bills (Panthers North) started being successful
  17. My wife's interest in the team is a big indicator for me. She swore off ever loving us again after Luke and TD left. Her tune has changed recently, large due to us drafting XL, because she was very tied to that small community. She has listened enough to know a few players now. Your sentiments track. She may just know Thielen as "the translator" or T-Mac as "that kid that don't like film", but it is at least on her radar again. Now all we need (all we ever needed) is to win. Hunt is also a household favorite as "big, funny man".
  18. He would add value, but it is short term value and takes away from the development of our younger players. Wallace with reps may be better than Shaq in 2026, and it doesn't matter much if we aren't ready to compete and Shaq retires before we are. We would be wasting our time with Shaq, even if we are better in the short term. I hate being the voice of reason sometimes, because I am a fan of Shaq and his locker room presence. Ship has sailed.
  19. I don't think we care right now. We are developing for the future, and as much as we love Shaq, he ain't in it.
  20. That works for me too. I just felt like not enough have converted to Bluesky and that was why he was "forced" to use X.
  21. I don't disagree...but here's the thing. We are here to have a good time, and being optimistic is way more fun. This is the only time of year we can really take the top off that meter, because it is all pure speculation right now. We will come back down to earth after a few games. Let's have our fun while we can. We are currently undefeated, and we should act like it
  22. To be fair, some of those years it was true.
  23. Moves like this also endear us to fans outside the US. Good move to give the guy a shot. Camp should be exciting for a few positions.
  24. Here's a summary for Bradberry as well. He also struggled in 2023 and was getting benched. "In the 2024 NFL season, James Bradberry's ranking is primarily impacted by a season-ending injury suffered early in the season. He was placed on Injured Reserve after the preseason, missing all of the regular season. Bradberry's 2023 performance, before the 2024 season, was also significantly affected by multiple benchings and struggles. "
  25. Copy and paste just to help the discussion. "Douglas didn't grade highly in 2024, according to PFF's metrics. His 59.1 season grade ranked 132nd out of 223 cornerbacks. However, the former Mountaineer played one of the highest snap counts among all players at his position, and finished in the top 25 percent of the league's corner in receptions allowed."
