No, stop trading our only good players. We HAVE to build at some point. Draft one later in the draft or pick someone in FA. Those are the options.

54 yards....bryce had 26 on the first drive so 5-6 for 26 on first drive, 3-7 for 28 since. fuging putrid.

bryce needs to lock in because they are selling out to stop the run, if we dont find a way to pass, we're fukt.

thats the same poo brees did for a bajillion years. never take a sack because he throws at the feet of dipshit in the backfield. always pissed me off.

bailed out, but in fairness the saints are bad, like circus bad, and bad teams hurt themselves and thats exactly what the saints did.

bryce bailed out of awful pass with a roughing penalty.

I think Bryce has his best game of the season (not saying much considering his recent statlines) but I think 3 TD's, 250+ yds.

shee, bryce prlly in the kyle allen/matt moore/pete range, so WAY too low. I agree hes not a slam dunk franchise, he has A LOT to prove but hes fine for what he is so far.

Yes, but kinda only mostly yes. So I said it a while back both here and on twitter. If you have a bad O-line, the answer is simple. Run. The. Ball. Pass blocking is a FAR more difficult thing to do. It requires high IQ players understanding blocking assignments and where rush is coming from. On the flip side, if you have a bad O-line, RUN THE BALL! It simplifies the game plan for them. instead of trying to catch where pressure is and playing with great technique, you can just so "See guy, hit guy", hat on a hat, hard nose football. The More I watch, the more I also do give huge props to rico because he is so explosive. He's a one cut and go guy where as chuba is a more patient runner in the backfield, and when we had great O-line play last year, it works AMAZING. Rico hides meh run blocking because hes off before the defense has a chance to try to move the blockers. its just incredible explosiveness from him.
So as I said, its great coaching by the O-line coaches, but its also great understanding by canales to just grind and run and great job by our banged up unit to keep performing at a high level.-

We need to have Bryce raise his level of play THROUGHOUT the game, but on top of that, we DESPERATELY need a second option, a REAL second option. XL either needs to really step up and be consistent or just bench his ass and start Jalen there. If Coker doesnt take off, use Horn. We need someone on the field thats a real option, not just a body
Edit to add: Also, Evans needs to be more involved in our pass offense, not just protection. Hes shown more than JT. I like JT, but Evans has shown legitimate top half of league TE promise, and as such he needs all the reps possible to see if he can get to that ceiling. -

The defense is benefitting from not being on the field the whole game like last year. Running the ball, limiting possessions and stuffing the run has made the unit look much much better.
also dont underestimate just how massive it is to have a healthy DB and Horn. Horn takes away a side of the field and DB has to be accounted for EVERY single snap, run or pass. Honestly, we're a pass rusher away from this defense being pretty fricken good and IMO I think that AS LONG AS EVERO STARTS AND PLAYS HIM!!! emphasis there, Scourton could absolutely explode on the backhalf of the season as hes now gotten his feet wet and feeling more comfortable.

Having Chuba as a backup is a huge benefit especially seeing as Rico went out after that clothesline tackle.
