Not saying he's a shitty person because he's an ineffective owner, but the way he's running things seems to go hand in hand with stuff we knew about him beforehand.  Example, he got passed over for a job, so when he got rich he bought his old bosses house and built a house twice as big on it.  That's the kind of guy that seems like a bundle of joy to be around.  Being shortsighted and petty are the kind of things shitty people do IMO.

a petition is worthless, he will never involuntarily sell.  the shitty part is that he is such a shitty person that he would rather relocate the team instead instead of actually admitting he sucks as an owner.

just realized...Daron Bland has as many pick 6's as we have interceptions total on the year.  Man we're definitely good.

I feel for Corbett, but our priority is protecting Bryce. Icky moving to LG has to be the move next year.

Obviously we cant use what Im about to say as a plan, but I wonder what Christensen could do at LT with icky at Guard.  I could be wrong but I thought I remember him being decently athletic with the knock on him being his arm length.

The "Makes Sense" part is where SO MANY people get lost.  I see every offseason "We CoUlD hAvE sIgNeD (insert player name here) fOr (Insert what another team paid)" and its always stupid.  We can offer the same contracts and get turned down for multitudes of reasons.  During even our good years, we still had a hard time attracting prime free agents because they look at the fact that Marketing contracts they can sign are better in the bigger markets.  NOW add that part to our cluster of a situation, and unless we're literally backing a brinks truck to their doorstep, Most of the top flight guys ARENT gonna come here.

What sucks is we have to keep in mind who we are and the stigma we now have.  we are going to have to overpay BIGTIME to get some quality FA's.  Imagine you're Tee Higgins, or Mike Evans and you could sign a contract with even someone like the Giants, but for the same pay or maybe slightly more, you could come to Carolina where we'll be on our 3rd coach (technically 4th since Wilks was better than either of the 2 morons before or after him) in 3 years, a toxic work environment due to the dildo of an owner, and a second year quarterback who may or may not be any good but damn sure has been completely shellshocked by our incompetence...Why on earth would anyone CHOOSE to be part of this situation.

Wilks could have gone undefeated but still would have been let go. Wilks could not be allowed in any way to look like the reason for the resurrection of the panthers, and it damn sure wouldn’t be allowed to resemble Jerry ball. 

Wilks  intimidated Tepper. It couldn’t be allowed to be seen as Steve’s team, doing it Steve’s (Jerry’s) way. 
 

Notice that although we do have some good players, you can’t identify a single one  as the unquestioned alpha personality. Prior to us turning in to a flag football team we prided ourselves on drafting those types of people. The I’d rather die than lose people. Heart. 
 

Steve was heart. Dave wants lemmings, robots and zombies. We’ll never win again until we start stacking the team like we used to do. 
 

 

Fwiw, I do get heart and emotion from the way luvu plays.  I'd say brown, but its also possible he's playing for his payday right now.  Besides that, zilch, just guys collecting paychecks.

When we passed on wilks, the possibility of him coaching here ever again went to absolute zero.

currently, Reich is worse, but historically Rhule is a far worse coach.  Reich has won games and gone to playoffs, meanwhile you cant convince me that Rhule even with tom brady could ever come close to the playoffs.

I absolutely think it was the teppers.  Moreover, I had a realization, I think in the interview process, he asked both Reich and Wilks if they'd be ok with them moving up to take Bryce.  Wilks said no because he needed input on who they would sign (makes sense after his Josh rosen clusterfug) where as Reich just said yes.  This is just all conjecture, but I absolutely would not be surprised if this were true.
