Someone would have to significantly overpay. Very few WRs would have three straight 1000 yard seasons given our QB and overall offensive situation in those three seasons. DJ is wildly underrated by this fanbase. I think he's the second best WR we've ever had. If you want to still out Moose over him I won't argue too hard against it. But at absolute worst he's 3rd. No one else is even in the conversation.

I honestly wouldn't trade him for any less than two 1sts.

Thank you sir. Literally was about to right the same exact thing, I really struggle to understand what it is with this fan base and their lack of appreciation of DJ. He has literally never in his career not gone gone over 1000 yards with the quarterbacks we have had rostered, he’s literally still 24 I don’t understand it. “Lack of killer instinct” “not a winner” guys I hate to break it to you but not every fuging wide receiver has to have the exact personality of Smitty to be a great wr. DJ is a star, a young star with no off the field issues or injury history can y’all get over yourselves finally?

  2. Would probably take Mitch if we found a way to trade Darnold. Besides that really no point. None of those are gonna move the needle, rather getting us another 8-6th pick; missing out on the most highly regarded QB’s next year.

This is my favorite sleeper/favorite player this draft cycle. Boye Mafe is an amazing EDGE prospect rising up boards. High character and freak athlete. He steadily improved throughout his time at Minnesota. If we lose Hassan this off-season, this would be an ideal replacement. He is a bigger EDGE around 270 and still is gifted with the speed our defense is built on. If Phil Snow wants to get bigger at the D-line he should be pounding the table for Mafe. All measurements were from prior to the start of the college season. His numbers could improve even greater then these already freakish numbers. Most people have him around the early 3rd round range but in my eyes he is a first round talent. But with Edge being a positional strength this year he could fall steeply.  Please check him out great kid, team player, and oh boy he’s fun to watch such an explosive player.

    Interesting.

Here's one thing for sure... Senior Bowl OL as a whole were highly disappointing.

Agreed, I partially think it has to do with how strong of a d-line group they were facing. Jermaine Johnson, Boye Mafe, Kingsley Enagbare to name a few.

  5. Dj should and will get payed. He is worth Top 15 WR money, not top 5 I’m guessing he will be between the range of the 7th-15th highest paid WR in the game. He’s a baller, still young only 24(3 years younger then Ridley) which is a big reason I think we chose him over Ridley. Crazily enough he doesn’t have a single year under 1000 yards receiving. Stud player Panthers need to retain him.

If we bring back Cam (big if because he already says he wants to play for a contender), we should be able to take a Willis, Howell or Strong(not at 6 obviously) and let them sit a few games and learn. Honestly I’m not sure Cam is the best QB to learn behind though, he isn’t always fundamentally sound. The best scenario was keeping Teddy last year and drafting Fields to sit behind him. You know what they say about hindsight…

Most QB mentors don’t teach any fundamentals, it’s more of the mental aspects and seeing how someone carry’s themselves in the locker room, leadership, work ethic. Our qb coach will work on the fundamentals, and brutal honesty I think Cam is one of the best QBS to mentor he has matured so much over the years and has become a 1 of 1 leader and motivator.
