Thanks, but I kinda cheated. I'm American  but moved out here years ago. @Aussie Tank however, is legit "True Blue" Aussie.

There's others around though. It did my heart good to someone on a skateboard wearing a Cam jersey in here a while back. The Aussie NFL Fans Facebook group gets a lot of traffic too.

That’s literally awesome dude, love the thought of some skater Australian dude wearing a Cam jersey haha. Spread the word dude, would love to see more international people involved in football but especially the Panthers! Cheers mate, hope you enjoy the draft!

We brought in Kendra Miller for a reason. He will be there in the 4th or 5th. He looked great in limited action against Michigan after missing time from a MCL. I feel he is pretty underrated for how well he fills a role. Sean Tucker is my preference but we will see how the cookies crumble later on in day 3.

I like Kendre Miller, Chase Brown, Deneric Prince as my later RB’s. Would be happy with any of them with our 5th round pick, hopefully we trade down from #39 and pick up some later round picks to play with.

It has to be Sanders. We gave him the money for it. We let our shirt yardage back, Foreman, leave for like 3 million dollars a year.

Duce Staley likes having a tools bases backfield. Miles Sanders will 100% be our 3 down rb, Chuba will back him up, we still need a true power back. Honestly, not a very important position in todays age and can be found with a vet minimum. Or honestly, we could use Laviska Shenault in the backfield, at his size of 220 he would be our heaviest back.

The cost of signing another FA RB is not a value vs drafting late or UDFA. Spending a few million in hopes of them working out is not as smart as taking a cheaper flier and giving them time to develop and get work behind other already costly and or solid RBs on the roster.

The value of the free agent RB market is very inexpensive. A above average back Damien Harris went for a one year, 1.7 mill contract. Rashad Penny went for 1.2 mill, linked below is Chuba Hubbards current rookie contract he was a 4th rounder and will make 1.1 mill this year. I’m not suggesting splurging on another RB, they’re a very undervalued position and can make economical sense in free agency. I would prefer to spend our later picks on higher upside positions in areas of need, we lack depth in a multitude of positions. Depth in positions that cannot be as fixed as easily as free agency.

I wouldn't mind seeing Shenault back there. Dude is thick and think of that Corderelle type on short yardage goalline situations would be great.

I also like Roschon, Bigsby and Ibrahim for that physical runner and should all be available on day 3.

Great take, was thinking the same thing with Shenault. He’s a big dude, 220 with decent speed and he already plays like a RB in the open feild.

The cost vs value is terrible. Whats wrong with a fresh set of legs in the later rounds? I feel we may trade down and get a 6th and that would be perfect to use on one.

We have limited draft capital, wasting a pick on a niche role is a wast of draft capital. Cost vs value? What are you even referencing, due to the abundance of quality backs these older vet power Rbs are cheap and affordable. Look at our Donta Foreman signing last season and Mike Davis in years past. Give me that all day, would rather draft a developmental guy in true areas of need then draft our RB 3.

I recently watched ThatFranchiseGuy’s t10 LB breakdown video on YouTube and I’d highly recommend it. I thought I liked Daiyan Henley for us before, but I’m not so sure after watching that video. I still like Drew Sanders and Trenton Simpson for us as potential 3-4 OLBs, but not sure if either will be available for our 2nd rd pick. I like Dorian Williams possibly at our 3rd rd pick, and Ivan Pace maybe in the 5th. I don’t think we have 6th and 7th rd picks right?

Why do you not like him now? That franchise guy talked very highly on Henley.

  8. Some later round corners I like

Cory Trice- Big ass athletic corner, 6 ft 3 206 pounds with longer arms than Brady Christensen. Ran a 4.46 40, with surprising agile 6.7 3 cone for his size. Plus put up a respectable 17 reps on the bench. Overall, his tape reflects what a long and strong player he is. Love watching him use his size to body wrs, plays strong. His biggest con is his playmaking, he’s not gonna fill the stat sheet with interceptions. My pro comp is Shaquille Griffen, with his size and athletic profile. Crazy enough his closest physical comp is Pat Surtain.

Clark Philips- Quite the opposite type of player compared to Cory Trice. This guy is a playmaker who excels with great technique and tenacious play demeanor. He’s a smaller corner at 5’9 184, but he plays bigger. He’s also not the fastest corner, ran a 4.51 40 which is slightly below average especially for his frame but it is manageable especially with his play instincts. Ironically Steve Smith loves this guy, if Steve Smith was a bit slower and played corner it would probably look a lot like Clark Philips. Projects best as a slot corner, was much higher rated at the beginning of the year and fell down due to testing numbers/recency bias.

  9. Personally I’m very much in doubt of Donte Jackson playing quality football next year. Doubt he returns before the season begins, and his game is so dependent on his killer speed and he just tore his Achilles which is known to zap speed. I’m intrigued with Henderson playing in a more zone heavy scheme, but still that’s a projection. We need to walk out of the draft with a minimum of one corner, doesn’t even need to be early but we desperately need depth.

I believe it will the Texans. I would not be surprised if they trade down this year and acquire more ammo for next year.

I see them drafting in the top ten, but if they couldn't do it this year I doubt they pick higher next year.
