it cuts both ways, and again you are way overvaluing Brian Burns
You guys want to trade players for picks, not trade picks for players. Which do you want?
-
https://www.panthers.com/team/players-roster/brian-burns/
- His 25.5 sacks are the most by all players that entered the league since 2019, while his 26 tackles for loss are tied for fourth among those players.

"In Jon Gruden's first year back in power in Oakland, the Raiders traded Khalil Mack and Amari Cooper for picks that landed in the 20s. Oakland began by taking Clemson defensive end Clelin Ferrell at No. 4 overall, which surprised given Ferrell's mid-Round 1 grades. The first leg of the Mack haul turned into Josh Jacobs at No. 24. Jacobs' 1,150 rushing yards (in 13 games) set a Raider rookie record. The Cooper trade brought safety Johnathan Abram at No. 27. Abram starred on "Hard Knocks" but missed 15 games as a rookie. He remains a key part of the franchise's future in Las Vegas."
So this is close to what you guys want to do. Trade Khalil Mack and Amari Cooper for Clelin Ferrell, Josh Jacobs, and Johnatan Abram.
But tell me again about how valuable those picks are over established players.

that is a seriously seriously flawed study, it takes all of the draft picks rounds 1-7 into account in the data and doesnt give round credence at all

https://www.dailynorseman.com/2022/4/26/23042105/nfl-draft-pick-bust-rate-remains-very-high
From the article
"But the reality is that most draft picks don’t work out. Whether they’re busts, didn’t live up to their draft position, had injury or off-field issues, didn’t do much to move the dial, or never played much, most draft picks turn out to be some level of disappointment, or don’t make much of a difference in the team’s success."

NFL teams should just come to the Huddle when they need a new GM. There are so many to choose from here.

I think we should trade all of our really good players for draft picks so we have more chances to replace them with really good players. The Huddle has convinced me that this is the way.

How is that anti-tanking grandstanding going? You pathetic loser.
I will let you know Thursday. Keep Pounding!
Congrats on your loss Sunday, I'm sure it made your day.

It appears the Huddle has turned their hate to Burns now that Rhule is gone.
Always has to be someone to bitch about.
Good job guys.

That’s an awfully low bar.

You sound angry. You sound hateful. You sound like a person who thinks there is only one way to fan.
There isn’t. Some people want to lose because of draft position, which this year actually make sense, and there are people who would like to win and make the playoffs.
Neither are wrong.
So if the Panthers wake the playoffs like you want enjoy it. But don’t gatekeep other fan.
That is just as bad.Again, not angry in the least.
I will leave you with this article I remember reading years ago.

Grow up man. You sound pathetically angry for some reason. Breath and realize you are taking this too seriously.
You sound like the miserable prick right now.
Log off the internet and realize that none of this game for children we enjoy as adults is worth anything and if it disappeared society would neither gain nor lose anything of value.
LOL
I am not angry at all.
I'm taking it too seriously? Some of y'all actually get mad when the Panthers win because it screws up draft position.

LoL. You want us to make the playoffs so we can get our asses hades to us by a team that deserves to be in the playoffs.
You are hilarious. It's either that or become a miserable prick who pulls for losses.

1-2 under wilks. Still kinda like old ways.
Agreed. Wilks should have demanded that the kicker make one of those two kicks to win the game last week! That loss is on him for forgetting to tell the kicker to not miss.

The forum is slow because you whiners don't have as much to bitch about now since Rhule has been fired and also the team has played a lot better the last couple of weeks. As far as being 2-6 they are still very much in the playoff hunt (because of the crappy NFC South) as much as some of y'all hate it. Keep hoping for losses and a DrAfT pICk while I hope for wins and a playoff berth.

That's exactly why he missed that kick, because he took a selfie or two. Good work uncovering the truth!
