To Jets $15 million for 1 year
Good for him….and us. Too much moola for an injury prone 30 yo WR. Thanks NYJ!

Maybe what the 7 thing is all about
Definitely would be stoked to see him back in Carolina.

Neck injury is no joke. Yikes…
Wow…hate that for him but no sympathy from me for the Saints.

We might do both. Get a guy like Clowney for immediate performance, and a young guy to develop for the future. Depends on how much Clowney wants, and if he wants to play for us.
Wouldn’t mind tag of it happened. With Chase Young out of the picture, that’s certainly a possibility. Glad the Saints helped us with that one.

Good. He can be a bum there.
You said it. Too inconsistent for me. Same for Clowney. Both overhyped underachievers. I’d rather find another pass rusher in the draft.

Lol at people getting their balls all notted up over someone, who just happens to be the dad of one of our players, voting on a public poll open to everyone.
Seriously y'all got some issues.
Just to piss y'all off I hope that Bryce does just enough to stick around if for nothing less than to hear y'all bitch all the time and see just how more lame y'alls childish insults get calling him poo like Gerber. Sound like you never left middle school.
Couldn’t agree with you more. C’mon ya’ll…we’re better than this. Aren’t we?
And btw - I happen to agree with Mr. Young. Legette would be a great addition to our WR corps.

One is a rotational player and the other is a decent number 2, we need a pass rushing Edge. With ILB both Cooper and Wilson should be there, but maybe a bit too early for them
I think either would be a great complement to Jewell but my preference is Cooper. That guy is a heat-seeking missile that would be lethal in our blitz scheme.
Of course, the question would be how he would fit with Shaq just being restructured but I just think this kid deserves serious consideration if he’s there in the 2nd.
-
Great write up! Edgerrin Cooper is a fast and furious ILB that would complement Jewell nicely in the 3-4. He would be a great selection in the 2nd. Xavier Legette would be a great addition to our WR corp in the 3rd or 4th.

Smart move by Eagles, Pickett is young cheap and sexy
Maybe but Pickett demanded a trade because he didn’t want to be a backup in Pittsburgh, but he’ll backup Hurts in Philly???

We all know what happened with the Brian Burns disaster and what could have been...Whats the approach with Derrick Brown. The man is gonna get paid. An extension would drop his cap hit this year but would his salary handcuff the team cap wise going foward? Should Carolina consider trading him now for max value before the draft? Could that have been the plan with bringing in Robinson?
Can’t see us trading away the best player on our D. Brown is coming off his best season last year and hasn’t hit his prime yet. Signing Robinson gives us another big body to help out the run D.

Damn. I had forgotten about him. Would’ve paired nicely with Josey Jewel at the price.

Just realized Miles Sanders is still here, right? Lol
Wish we parted ways with him but cap hit may be too much.

AA-Ron Jones come on down
I’d love to add Aaron Jones. He’d be a great feature back and complement to Chuba Hubbard (2nd RB)

WOW!!! ..... Justin Simmonds incoming?
I hope so. Cutting Bell would leave a huge hole in the defensive backfield but Simmons is definitely an upgrade.

It was the only logical move to make at this juncture.
Now we have options.
Agreed. We sorta painted ourselves into a corner with Burns when we turned down the Rams’ offer last year. The salary cap bump buys us a little more time.

Have they given a timetable for their returns? I was at the game against Memphis and Melo was doing an individual workout before the game and he seemed to be moving around just fine. I thought for sure he would return after the all star break. And what kind of back bruise keeps someone out 3 months?
I’m sure Clifford doesn’t want to rush Melo or MW back before they’re truly ready. The flow and improved team chemistry since the trade deadline gives us the luxury to work the new guys in while allowing both to focus on getting healthy for this season and beyond.

nah bro that makes no sense, he fits so well with Brandon and is a legit superstar caliber player and we would not be getting one of those in return. just need to solve his ankle issues.
I’m not sure the ankle issues will ever be “fixed”. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to explore the possibilities of a trade for Ball. We’ll be picking high enough in the draft to acquire a viable replacement and with additional draft capital we can continue to build around Miller.

I could be dead wrong about this, but based on his actions and his family, Ball could be a cancer to a young team like the Hornets. He has potential to be a superstar in the league, but I wouldn’t build my team around him.
I agree with you about Miller. He is a special player who will hopefully become the face of the franchise. I’m becoming a big fan.
Hard for me to say, but we may be better off trading Ball in the offseason. For all the swag and highlight plays, the kid can’t seem to stay healthy and appears to be part of the problem. The team really needs a complete culture makeover. No one outside of Miller and maybe Bridges appears to care about winning. JMO.

This most teams aren’t easily giving up their draft capital especially their 1st rounders. We did well to get what we got for CMC when we traded him. Thanks to Tepper and Fitt we both failed to capitalize on a tremendous draft haul for Burns and got fleeced for Young.
