So this firmly in my mind, put the lions in a trade down if a QB is there at 7. They will see what they can squeeze out of another team and try to browns it. Aquire mad capital and try to cash it all in at once to compete with a cheap core. Then fill the gaps with FA.

This would be a Richardson-esk move if it's for Stafford. Move all in on a guy at or after his peak and hope it works out and you get a ring. We know how that worked out year after year........

Stafford is boarder line top 10 atm and a crowded list ready to bump him down the list. The jump from 10 to 5 is huge.

Now if Rodgers becomes available for a future 1st and a second, that is a completely different take.... He is a clear top 5 guy for atleast a few more years. Same window but a lot better player. With Brees gone and who knows on Brady, there would be a chance to get to a SB where you get the Patrick Mahomes show.

He reminds me more of Hines Ward more than anyone. 

Hines Ward paired with the twin towers for 3 to 4 years, what's not like. Great value too. He is a plug and play guy IMO. His ceiling isn't that of funch, but ready day camp opens.

I get Cravens as a potential day 1 starter at SS if Boston doesn't up his game. Same with HH over Dickson.

My question is how the staff feels adding another offensive linemen beyond just depth guys. They are said to like Williams but where, LT or do they see him as a RT. If he isn't a viable option at LT do they have a guy like Spriggs rated as worthy of a trade up. If Williams is LT in waiting, I don't see us going OT for a while now (value is gone at RT fight now)
