We drafted Bryce Young and Jonathan Mingo. The Texans drafted CJ Stroud and Tank Dell.

    And...

You know the Texans were setup for success and we are set up to fail, dont blame the actual players!

    Higgins isn't even a #1 WR. He's a star #2. He's not even in the top 20.

The only way its good is if they take the picks from the Burns trade and he signs a decent deal.

Then we hit on a #1 WR in the draft.

We cant just get Higgins sign him to a massive deal and think we are set at WR.

The Bengals can kick rocks if the demand is both 2nd picks bit if they just wanna take the picks we got for Burns then I'm all in.

Welp looks like I was wrong and the Teppers are still pulling the strings. Sigh....

Simping for a Billionaire that destroyed the Panthers franchise.

    How brave.

Not simping for him at all, I hate Tepper and Nicole as much as the next but making threads on a Panthers forum about not spending 8k on a fuging football team. Sorry not sorry.

That was a dumb ass investment if we were the KC chiefs.

Trading Burns = Rebuilding the right way.... I will give you that point, however.................

We just traded Burns on HIS terms, to get HIM the best contract, not on OUR terms to get US the best return

Which flips that from rebuilding the right way to continuing to cut off our nose to spite our face, yet again, because they keep trying for the quick fix, not the right fix.

I know what a fug up we had several teams ready to give us two #1 picks and a top end WR but they didnt want to pay Burns so we sent him to the Giants to do him a solid.  🙄

I like your optimist, I genuinely do.  Probably just getting older and more cynical, but IMHO from my experience in the business world, someone like Tepper will not be able to ever give up control.

I'm not even remotely convinced that's the case, even switching to Morgan at GM.

    I hope I'm wrong.

You really think Tepper is cool with gutting the team and watching his boy wonder suck ass again this upcoming season?

The most likely thing is the guys told Tepper he fuged up in picking Bryce. He then leaks that Nicole wanted Stroud so she still has credibility.

Next they tell him the team must be gutted to free up cap space for next season and beyond to be able to build the roster the right way.

This moves really dont feel like Tepper, if we went out and traded picks for WRs I would think that was some Tepper bullshit.

I was angling for a 2nd/3rd this year and next year's first.  That I would have been happy with.  I had no misconception that the Giants were going to give up their #6 this year.

It would have been like a 4th/5th this season with next years first.

    The value wasnt changing.

  8. We are finally rebuilding the right way and you guys are mad we didn't go out and spend like mad men and trade away picks to win 5 games again.

Let the guys do their jobs, Fitt and co. have dug a massive fuging hole over the past few seasons.

We dont need more knee jerk moves thinking we are one piece away from going to the playoffs.

This poo should have been done years ago.

So is he staying on the right side or moving to the left?  What are we doing with Corbett if this dude stays on the right side?

Hunt is better than Corbett has ever been in his career, much less the sorry version we seen of him last season.

He is all around more efficient than Carr. He has put up the same stats in fewer games than Carr. Kirk Also has a better career TD to INT %.

Kirk is a top 10 QB by all metrics hovering around 7-10 consistently. You can win a SB with that kind of QB Play.

In theory just looking at the stats yes, but then you realize its Kirk Cousins and you snap back to reality.

Carr has also been in the same range 10-15......its not a drastic difference.

  11. 3 minutes ago, Ricky Spanish said:

Cousins has started fewer games(145 to 159, nearly a season less), thrown more TDs (270 to 242), more YPA (7.6 to 7.1), Higher QB Rating (98.2 to 92.3), and a better record as a starter (76-67-2 vs. 72-87).

    They are not the same.

Lol by a few points here and there?

The lead to the same place QB purgatory. 10 wins early playoff exits at best.

    Same type of QB.

If you were putting QBs in tiers they are in the same tier, below the elite QBs.

    thats an awful opinion.

Show me how they arent, basically the exact same career stats.

And hell while your at it you can lump Baker in with them.

All mediocre QBs who are overpaid.

If we ever hit on a real elite QB we dont have to worry about any of them.
