That's why it's important to maintain perspective on what may or may not qualify as progress or improvement for QB's outside the top 15-20 range.

The NFL will find a way to fix this in their eyes. They love their points and casual fans, Defenses wont get the best of offenses for too long before some new rules get implemented. 

The throw to theilen to take the lead was elite. 

The throw on 3rd and 1 in the red zone earlier in the game was also sick. 

I was a Bryce basher but he has looked the part the past 2 games. 

He's not really a conundrum, he has played 2 games where he looked like he could be a NFL starting QB, then he has 22 games of looking like a backup or that he doesn't even belong in the league. Some of those games feature some of the worst QB play you will ever see. 

We have to bring in someone to compete for the spot next season, either a rookie or FA. 

If Young can build off his kc performance and show consistency week to week I would not mind bulldiing up the rest of the team and taking a shot on a high ceiling QB somewhere down the line.

I've talked as much poo about Bryce as anyone, but he just earned a lot of respect with that throw while getting absolutely crushed 

I know the dude may not be a prolific pass catcher, but you guys need to stop hating on the man.

That's a bad game for mahomes, that would be one of the best games of Busts career. 

The guy sucks and limits the entire offense, if you cannot see that then you don't know what you are watching.

Chuba had more rushing yards than Bust had passing....

We have to do something at QB, we cant let him be the starter again next season.

Bryce is severely holding this team back. 

With a real QB we blow the giants out.

I liked the couple of games where he was engaged with Dalton after that he was ready to gtfoh and who can really blame him

People seem to forget that Reich got 27 tds to 7 ints out of a broken, discarded Carson Wentz.

Stroud would have been fine with Reich, he had no chance once he got handed Bryce. 

These guys are only here because no one else was going to agree to go into a season with Bust Young as the unquestioned starter.

The guy made it two games before getting benched it was painfully obvious we needed to bring in someone to compete with him and not just be his buddy.

Appears to me this is a slow process beginning with Canales and Morgan trying to improve Tepper's decisions. Next has been Canales and Morgan convincing Tepper that certain players aren't good for winning (Bryce, Diontae, and Thomas). Finally, Canales has to prove he can replace them and improve the offense. He's already done that by elevating Dalton, XL, Coker, Moore and J.Sanders over Bryce, Diontae, TMJ, Mingo, Thomas and Tremble before the trade deadline.

I won't be shocked if Brooks moves over Hubbard and pushes M.Sanders out after a few weeks of play with the quick progress Canales has shown. Canales definitely has an ability to replace failing players with young developed players.

A Canales/Morgan offense free of Tepper will be a future QB, Brooks, XL, Thielen, Coker, Moore, J.Sanders and depth added in 2025.

Getting Tepper to give up his fantasy Steelers defensive project will be the more diffcult task for Morgan and Canales. Giving up 20+ points by half every game is unacceptable for even a bad defense.

We were all saying that one or two injuries to key guys on D would make us one of the worst in the league, then we had 17 fuging injuries. 

The D wasnt even good last season, I dont know why people were spouting that nonsense. 

The guys saying dont take a QB will be the same ones complaining that we arent competitive. 

You have a #1 overall pick with Bust Young as your only QB, you have to at least take a hard look at them. 

We either have a rookie QB or a journeyman, no way can we go into another season touting Bust as the starter. 

I think the biggest turn off last season was Tepper forcing Bryce on people after him putting 16 games of "my god this guy fuging sucks" on tape.

Moore has also been solid--as a #5 WR.

They factor in draft position over actual ability too much of the time. Its the same reason we went into the season with Bryce as the unquestioned starter.
