New information obtained by WBRZ says Lacy was arguing with a family member shortly after 11 p.m. Saturday. He reportedly pulled out a gun and shot it at the ground before leaving the area.

About 30 minutes later, a constable spotted Lacy driving and attempted to make a traffic stop. Deputies said Lacy refused to stop and was chased for several miles before crashing.

A report from the Harris County Sheriff's Office says that when deputies walked up to Lacy's vehicle to take him into custody, they didn't realize he shot himself during the pursuit and before the crash.

The WBRZ Investigative Unit reported that Lacy was set to appear before a grand jury on Monday connected to a fatal crash in Lafourche Parish. He was arrested by Louisiana State Police in December 2024. Troopers said he was speeding and driving across the center line in a no-passing zone on La. 20, causing a wreck that killed 78-year-old Herman Hall. Lacy was arrested and booked for negligent homicide, felony hit and run, and reckless operation of a vehicle. He bonded out less than two hours after being booked. 

I guess that's one way to stay out of jail? He probably wouldn't have had to serve any time too.

Gene Hackman, wife and dog found dead in home under 'suspicious' circumstances.

Their deaths were "suspicious enough in nature to require a thorough search and investigation" due to all of the "circumstances surrounding" the scene, according to the search warrant affidavit.

The Academy Award-winning actor was found on the floor in the mud room, according to the search warrant. It appeared he fell suddenly, and he and his wife "showed obvious signs of death," the document said.

Arakawa was found lying on her side on the floor in a bathroom, with a space heater near her body, according to the search warrant. Her body showed signs of decomposition, the document said.

On the counter near Arakawa was an opened prescription bottle, with pills scattered, according to the search warrant.

A German shepherd was found dead about 10 to 15 feet from Arakawa, the document said.

But two other dogs were found alive. One healthy dog was near Arakawa and the other was located outside, according to the search warrant.

The Santa Fe City Fire Department found no signs of a possible carbon monoxide leak or poisoning, the document said. If there was carbon monoxide at the scene, it could have vented out of the home through the open front door before responders arrived.

New Mexico Gas Company also responded and "as of now, there are no signs or evidence indicating there were any problems associated to the pipes in and around the residence," the document said.

It doesn't really matter what Cam says to be honest. At the end of the day ... he's not in the league (even though he can still play). He's not going to the HoF. All he has now is a podcast and ESPN. And that will be done in a few years.

It makes more sense now to go the opposite - Clemson and FSU have a much easier path to the playoffs in the ACC than they would there.

They'll have their own championship. They'll boot out the lower schools, invite big names, and have their own 12 team super league: Alabama, Georgia, Miami, Texas, Florida, Florida St, Clemson, Ole Miss, LSU, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, and Tennessee. That league would get NFL ratings.
