Carolina Panthers Deangelo Williams Hitting His Stride
Chimera replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
For the life of me, I can't remember the last time Stewart practiced. I heard a rumor he once practiced in 2009, but no confirmation. -
Knees are a complicated joint. Even if you did something serious, there won't be many symptoms on the outside, other than pain or swelling. if the pain lingers, you might want to go see your orthopod. it would take an MRI to know for sure

If you are focused on SOF, I would recommend holding off on the bulking for now. Maybe add an intense tae kwon do regimen? SOF requires a lot from your body, but having 24 inch pythons isn't a requirement. Do they still sell those ranger workout dvds at the px?

Yeah I'm not too sold on the thought of her slinging around heavy bar bells with a baby bump. But no problem otherwise

Food deprivation = muscle being broken down for nutrients while food is stored as fat at a much higher rate. That's why I always advise against the "burn more calories than you consume" advice that people like to give around here.

not lately - I take a lot of concepts from crossfit and add it to my normal workouts. Great stuff, not worth $135 a month on its own. And prepare your anus: mentioning crossfit to people who've a) never done it or couldn't keep up will get some funny results on this board.

well the pork chops were breaded and fried; ribeyes aren't very lean at all - not that its unhealthy, but I could be eating much better.

You don't necessarily need shakes or supplements - but consuming calories, yes. I constantly stay hungry, but self-discipline is another subject. I would think friends would make things easier, but maybe that's just me.

The hardest part is getting started. Once you get it going, its like your body starts craving it. ....until you take a break. Then your body never wants to lift again.

Personally I believe squatting is more mental than physical. I know it sounds weird, but I know if I'm feeling pretty confident and having a good workout, that bar gets pretty light. How much do you really push yourself on squats? I bet you will be pleasantly surprised what you can actually do once you start pushing it. (only push it if you're going parallel with a spotter - don't try that ish going ass to ground) I know I was content with 225 way back when until someone challenged me to push it. I tried 315 and found it incredibly easy and got 10 reps. I don't remember what I eventually maxed on the squat, but I really bet you can do double what you think you can do. Quads are crazy powerful.
