    And if your QB is at least a viable running option themselves? Yeah he can grab some yards on a scramble but he'll be in shotgun on 3rd and 1 kinda stuff. Cam/other guys can get under center and really work convincing play action in those situations. Until we see some major changes defenses are just gonna keep playing him the same way

    Simms saying he can't rely on the anticipation when your WR's are getting bumped by Trevon Diggs and the like. That's the whole timing/throwing to a spot thing that occasionally looks good on tape but is generally sketchy if you can't actually see what's going on. I'm sure QB school would disagree

    This is what I want to see, if he's not the guy I at least want to see him going out swinging instead of lobbing the ball out of bounds or taking sacks when he's got 50/50 shots downfield
