  1. He was just a really bad coach at that point. I have colt fan friends who couldn’t stand him and his archaic offense. A new hire coach typically doesn’t get much say on draft picks though. Even if he was screwed, what he did with that offense was malpractice. He made zero adjustments to his offense. We ran empty or shotgun every damn play, the only run was inside zone. Our route concepts were just fuging horrible and out severely out dated. He utilized ZERO motion. He took a good running team and destroyed it, and absolutely screwed up Bryce’s development. Canales at least has implemented a modern offense with several formations and a real scheme. He’s adjusted and tailored his offense to his players as any good coach would.
  2. Reich was an idiot and a terrible coach. He didn’t give a single fug, ever. His favorite play to run was all curls. As for canales, a lot of teams don’t throw Hail Marys to close out a half. As conservative as Canales can be, it’s not surprising at all
  3. I figure if he can throw it 50 accurately standing still with pressure he can likely throw it 60 stepping into it and heaving. At the end of the day the Hail Marys probably don’t matter much though. What matters to me is attempting more of the 40-50 yard shots, and stop throwing them out of bounds. i think he has always led his deep balls outside and out of bounds because he’s scared of throwing a pick. It drives me nuts. If it’s an interception oh well, it’s an arm punt. But give your guy a chance
  4. You watched him throw the ball 50 air yards and it was perfectly in stride. He did get to step into the throw or crow hop into it. He had a defender closing the space. But you doubt he can just heave it 50 yards to the end zone without perfect circumstances? That doesn’t make much sense. I guarantee you Bryce can throw the ball ~60 yards.
  5. Oh I totally agree. He’s wildly inconsistent. Much like my golf game. But I think it’s safe to say he can consistently throw the ball from the 50 to the end zone. Driving deeper passes with accuracy, that’s a whole different conversation
  6. Come on now. You saw the guy throw the ball from the 50 to the end zone You know on Hail Marys you step up to the LOS and throw it from there. It’s the same throw. And he didn’t even really step into that one Side note, I also would really love to see more of those instead of sideline deep shots that land out of bounds
  7. *bryce hits a receiver in stride 50 yards downfield for a touchdown with two safetys steps behind Yeah that guy couldn’t even throw a hail Mary from the 50, I bet my arm is stronger than his lol
  8. https://youtube.com/shorts/iBZY75KLCwE?si=UrcgkDeJ2-KBfmHR Would you like to retract that low IQ statement? Or is this one of those ignorance is bliss situations

  10. That was an accuracy issue not an arm strength issue. It was a 35 yard pass. He hit thielen on the money with a 50 yard deep ball for touchdown against Tampa bay last year
  11. I cant really fault them for picking Legette. He looked like a man amongst boys very often in 2023. He is not just an athlete he is a hell of a receiver. I think he, a lot like Bryce, struggles with his confidence. He hasn’t found his role in the offense and has made some really bone headed mistakes along with the drops. The mistakes noticeably get him down. It even affects his play speed and effort it seems like. As he makes plays and gains confidence in himself I really think he will transform into a different player
  12. In 5 games in 2022 (his peak) Philip Walker threw 3 touchdowns, 3 interceptions, and averaged 146 yards passing per game. He was terrible. You (and many others here) are just a moth to a flame for a strong armed quarterback.
  13. Putting Bryce with Jake and Cam is wild, so I guess the Bryce/Jimmy/PJ comparisons may be fair after that PJ has 6 touchdowns to 16 interceptions and a 54% completion rate for his career. He couldn’t operate an offense. I think we all just remember him fondly for that insane throw to DJ that, admittedly, Bryce could never hope or dream of even attempting
  14. You are actually, genuinely comparing Bryce to Jimmy fuging Pickles? Jimmy accounted for 3 touchdowns in his 10 starts in 2010. In Bryce’s 10 games post benching last year, he accounted for 20 touchdowns. Jimmy threw three touchdowns in 2010. Three. Bryce has thrown 10 touchdowns through 6 games. He is currently on track to throw for 3300 yards, 28 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Wtf are we even talking about anymore. I mean seriously
  15. And we see how that offensive philosophy turned out in the playoffs against Arizona
  16. Bryce was asked to make plays when it mattered. 4th downs, goal line plays. And he made them. And we won. those other quarterbacks did not. And they lost. Get off their dicks.
  17. Even if you were in your peak athletic prime he would fuging smack you behind the LOS if you tried to beat him to the corner Current day you would average -8 ypc against Trevin Wallace
  18. Lol I was on JV playing up and I didn’t have a chance at tackling Rico, I was on the field just completely lost and confused at someone moving that fast while running people over knew he was a hell of a player but I never thought I’d see what I saw today!
  19. Asheville’s very own. Played against him when we was playing QB for AC Reynolds. Been rooting for him since. Such a cool moment
  20. Please get off his dick I mean you are spinning on it at this point
  21. Special teams trying to get in the way in between lol
  22. What the fug are we even talking about at this point lol
  23. The difference in chemistry between Bryce and McMillan and Bryce and Renfrow is so obvious. They are just out of sync every time
  24. Wow that’s actually really cool chatgpt can do that Although, as we know Arizona sat in soft zone the entire second half. So there was a lot of dinking and dunking, but that’s the right thing to do in that situation. Week 1 pass chart doesn’t look bad. He pushes the ball downfield more than several other quarterbacks I’ve watched. For some reason the huddle thinks other quarterbacks are constantly throwing 60 yard bombs. That is absolutely not the case. Some quarterbacks aren’t taking any deep shots at all.
