I have no idea if any player or coach will be successful. But I'm not going to take a stance that they can't in May. I'd just stop following if I thought that way.

If it’s out of my control why would I make a big deal? It’s a football team that’s made for entertainment. If it ever becomes a big deal when they are bad I can simply find other things to occupy my free time. Life is too short.
Exactky. Seems obvious. It's literally meaningless beyond entertainment.

Should have called his bluff and picked Cooper DeJean if the Patriots traded up.
He was taken at 40. They could have selected him at 39 if interested.

Hubbard and Sanders are no where near the same back. They're different type of backs. One is way more finesse and requires an open space to do anything if we're being honest. The other makes something out of nothing and can run between the tackles more effectively.
It is fact that Penny has a better average running and receiving the football than Sanders (and Chuba for that matter). It is also fact that Penny has been way more injured. It's injury that has been his downfall, not a lack of talent. But the best ability is availability, and so we can't bet on Penny being anything more than depth. That doesn't mean that he can't relegate other players to the bench if he can somehow stay healthy.
Penny has 28 career receptions. Sanders averages 30 per season. So no, Penny is far less of a receiver than even Sanders.

Realistic chance that he starts the season on the pup list.
Yeah, I haven't seen anyone suggest he would be playing early. Most are saying if he contributed anything late this season it would be a win

Which means absolutely nothing. Should have drafted a center and then a rb next year
Neither of which isn't likely to start this year so not huge difference in that respect

Yeah we aren't carrying 5. If we carry 4 on the active roster it probably doesn't last the entire season.

He said he will be ready by 7/1 for training camp?
That doesn't mean he will play. That's when he can first start doing any sort of training. That's an aggressive timeline just for that given he tore his just 5 months ago.
There's zero point in rushing him in to games.

I wonder if they've taken a closer look at our 2nd round pick and realized he's not going to be ready for the start of the season.
He was never expected to be ready for the start of the season.

I wonder if you can trade a player for nothing. Like we "will give you Sanders".

Odd signing. Good chance he doesn't make the team but they are being really careful about the position

I like how the poll has nothing to do with the topic.

I love everyone shitting on the post. Same people shitting will be complaining when the panthers are shitting the bed by the 2nd half of game 1. These comments are rich. Glass house. It’s like an abusive relationship. They will keep coming back. I guarantee the same people will be predicting 10-7. It’s the same folks every year blindly following like sheep.
Yet here you are

They split qb snaps and he's the #2 qb on his team production wise.

There are 8 teams.
Corall is :
9th in yds
9th in TDs
11th in attempts
They are limiting him as much as possible and relying on their 3 top runners

That’s the one! Pretty big one for a RB
Why did you say injury prone?

Looked for a Tepper thread to ask this. Did people know that when Ben Navarro was still in play to buy the team, he asked John Lynch to run things for him?
Listening to a Lynch interview he makes the claim (really bored, but hey, I never hear that one).
Kind of odd. He was already GM of the 49ers and just going in to his second season when the sale was unfolding.

Neither have won anything

Like every other rookie. Do you have a point other than grasping for negatives?

Bootlicking like you're getting paid for it isn't any better.
That term doesn't mean what you think it does apparently.
Where would the Panthers be if they sat Bryce Young last season?
