I would still rather have EZ given everything so getting an extra pick still works. I guess that means a 2nd is off the table now. Just going to have to see what devalued looks like. After the trade up to #1 how bad could it be in comparison?

I'd take EZ at 8 if we couldn't move back at that. His body of work and shuttle at combine etc says elite but they nitpick  on him. He will be another decent player in the nfl

    Geepers.. could you imagine..

    Trade Motion

1st Round: Draft Will Campbell or Membou

Trade 3rd to the Giants for Thibodeaux

Trade 2nd to Raiders for Mayer

I mean this is playing Madden but then suddenly you come out of the draft -30,000,000 in cap and 3 young players to build around.

I don't think it'd take a 2nd for mayer. Probably  more like a 4th and we got a few of those.

Then hit up the Giants who will likely draft Carter and rumor is shopping Thibodeaux and trade a 3rd.

    Seems too simple..

If he is available,  most definitely!!!  I saw that but wondering how they were gonna approach that come draft night. A bunch of players on the block. Even tight ends like Kittle, Andrew's and Mayer too. Jameson Williams etc. Definitely  different  avenues to improve the team with later round capital!

Honestly, if we did this and took the top OT at #8, I really would not hate it

Same here!! It'd give us true BPA at 8 and allow us to use that high 2nd to address edge or wr. Still having the other 2nd to address  the other position.  The big thing is  having Brady on the roster too as a swing tackle.  Think we have spent some time with the Texas tackle  too.

  5. Said potentially...  when it's all said and done... id bet they addres oline at 4. Maye took a beating and you don't invest in a Qb and then don't protect him. Hypothetically,  if Walker did go 4...  the draft  gets even crazier. I know some scoff at trading motor but if 1 of the tackles is at 8 and they feel they can get decent compensation(1st or 2nd)  for Moton, do it.  I love Moton but with the money getting tight on the oline, you have to reset some of it somehow and all 3 tackles projected early are studs.

and Broncos making calls to move up in 1st, we are mentioned.

We make probably  the most sense. The last bit of major names  stop around 8 names. Being that it's Sean Payton... id try to rob them blind and honestly... im wanting to move back more than reaching but ill root for whoever except Stewart lol

If Watts is available that's a huge red flag. That would probably scream that he's washed. He's coming off of the fewest sacks of his career since his rookie season aside from his one injury shortened season and he's on the wrong side of 30 now. These are the types of guys good organizations grade cashing in on the name value. It's confusing to Panthers fans because these are the types of guys the Panthers have historically backed up the Brinks truck to give career achievement contracts vs. "what do we expect moving forward" contracts.

I get that logic but I heard it was bc of uncertainty  at qb and etc. Yet, he is 30... so probably  a 3 year window left. They just drafted olb last year I think.

Yeah, I don't see how it'd be worth it only involving this year's picks. Not very familiar with the Steelers roster but I guess its possible a player could be involved in a potential trade.

They have hinted Watts and Pickens kn the block but who knows. If watts was included... idk

They are lacking a 2nd round pick for 2025 due to the Metcalf trade so I would assume the minimum to even be in any discussion would have to involve their 2026 1st.

Which, TBH, they would be foolish to trade away.

Yeah it would be foolish but they are starting to get worn out on Tomlin... the Rodgers stuff has got ridiculous... if they have a shot at a qb... they are in win now mode. You don't trade for Metcalf and have Rudolph only at qb

Beyond the first three picks, I think everyone wants to trade back in this draft. It is a buyer's market and the eighth pick might not have the value it once did when it comes to trades.

Make the pick, take the best player on the board (Warren, imho) and just move on.

I feel you to a degree. I see at least 2 teams needing to go oline before us. Teams above us have horrible olinevplay and Qbs in place already. If they trade too far back, the 2 elite tackles could be gone.

  11. With new wording of Steelers kind of getting burnt out on the Rodgers drama, I could very well see them pivot if 1 of Milroe or Sanders is at 8. Rumors have that a few teams think Milroe could be Hurts all over. If Sanders  and Ward(locked at 1) go early, we will see someone try to come up to the sweespot before the possible run happens.

Are the Browns really willing to start the season with Flacco or Pickett and get a QB late in the draft to sit for a year or 2? Don't be surprised if they don't take Sanders at #2 and create some chaos at the top.

I've thought bout  them as doing that fr. Especially  when Myles Garrett spoke on having a Qb.

Every draft has a wrinkle thrown into it... I will say with confidence, at least 2 wrinkles will happen in the first 8 picks. Which could cause a domino effect. I really like our draft position; we will hold a lot of the cards come time to draft at #8

Usually a corner or oline run too...

  14. Random,  if the Giants do take Carter... and try to trade Kayvon...  I would think about it. If Sanders gets to 8 and they want to trade up from 3(I know that's far) by adding Kayvon and pick swaps in next couple rds and a future 1st or 2nd maybe... Id be game. They pick at the top of each rd, so we'd get talent spill over, a pass rusher with yout/ skill and still have that 34 pick to get a wr etc.
