Before the draft,  you would have to think you are the best coach of all time to think you could select Bryce #1 overall and nothing bad would happen. Never in the history in the NFL has  QB that small of a frame ever worked out in the NFL. 5`10, 185-190 lbs just dont work out in the NFL. If you thought all the QBs in the draft class were close, thats all  you needed to look at to make your decision and no one would fault you for it. Instead you try to be sentimental and give the small guy, mega processor a shot and its blowing up in your face. Stroud was the easy decision. It was right there in front of our face and we still fuged up.

Teppers and their egos took over for sure!!!

Gardner Minshew has less than 100 passing yards and we're being blown out? We could have just kept the QB's we had if this is all we're going to get from our passing offense. Couldn't be any worse that's for sure.

And the Colts been giving up 40 points the last 2 weeks and we got 3 so far....

Wow get a win and Bryce goes back to his normal self. Well it is his first year.

I'm not even going to get the stuff stirred up but do you think if we switched qbs last week, we run Houston out the stadium bc what I'm seeing is a guy who won't pull the trigger. 2 of those sacks he had Thielen running across his face and he held it. Tepper wanted this guy and he will have to live with it and the all star staff.

As a matter of fact... Last week when Houston stopped the Panthers on the goal line and they were coming out from the 1 yard line, guess who they ran right at to give themselves some playing room? Yep. And gained 6 yards just like that, taking away the threat of a safety. When offenses target you as a weakness, you are not that guy.

    I agree bro!!!

Its up to Fitter to trade Burns since he refused to give him the extension he so deserved! And if he doesn't, he's walk for nothing. What a clown this guy is.

    Trade Burns for Jamo NOW!!!!

It's a WIN WIN for both sides to fill a BIG NEED!!!  DO IT FITTER!!!!

His chemistry  with Bryce is underrated. A wr I'd definitely  be on board for. His rookie contract also helps us continue  to build. I been on the Metcalf train too but Jameson  allows for more building and His stock is lower.

I resisted it for a long time but Luvu really might be our best defensive player.

Luvu has been the most consistent  player on defense for 2 years. He has been vastly underrated. The guy also has the heart that this team desperately  needs. No matter the score,  you can vet he is still going 100 mph!! I'd rather use Brian Burns money to keep Luvu and Brown here longterm.

They are driving up the price for the bum by saying he "isnt" available.  Everyone is available for a price minus Mahomes.

Just like when they said they werent trading McCaffrey. This also helps them save face if an offer comes. They can say they didn't want to but this offer helps the team going forward  etc. Regardless,  we can't pay him 30 plus, with the status of this team atm.

  8. Looking at how Detroit couldn't stop nobody, I could definitely  see us trying to trade Burns(and another piece) for their 1st and Jameson.  We did  work on Jameson coming  out and it'd give Bryce someone he has a connection with. Almost like Tua n Waddle. I saw someone mention Metcalf and That'd be the other move they have to consider. Him and Carroll aren't on the same page and that'd give Carolina a lineup of Metcalf  Theilen and Jameson  at wr. Mingo can slowly develop. Id assume our 2nd next year would be valuable  but not sure what else. Maybe Chinn or Jackson.

It seems like they hit a grand slam with Puka and have him for 4 years on a super cheap contract, I'd be shocked to see them even consider trading him.  Maybe I'm wrong and they see their window closing on Stafford and maybe they'd trade Puka and a 1st for Burns and Chark so they still have a useable WR this year.

But just being honest, I'm not sure that would be a good trade for us, I don't think Puka is the WR we need, we need a true outside #1, preferably someone with some wheels on them.

Puka is essentially a younger Thielen in the way he plays, that's not what we need to give Bryce since Thielen is playing that role at an elite level right now.

I'd still probably do the trade if we had a chance, maybe we can get an additional mid round pick in return by including Chark or TMJ as well, but I don't think it should be our first choice of how to use Burns in a trade if we can help it.

I agree and we need speed to the mix!! It's a tough situation  but we definitely  have to add talent around him.

The Panthers might be looking to lessen the draft assets needed  to get a Jerry Juedy type by including TMJ in the trade??

The only connection I see is remembering  the Saints were high on him as all LSU players have been heavily vetted by the saints over the years.  Therefore Sean and his ego may see something.

Stroud was my first pick but it doesn’t mean Bryce sucks he just isn’t Stroud. Bryce will be a good NFL QB

I think he may be but our situation  was more suited for Cj. Stroud needs a Miami scenario  to be right and that's why we shouldn't  of drafted him.  Now they have to get creative to surround him.

Still can't believe we passed on that layup of a pick. Arm talent was there for all to see.

    But MUH LEADERSHIP.

Man, Stroud is making this look bad weekly. He has been everything Josh said pre-draft and all the naysayers were saying he was no good.  I gave Bryce a chance but its just so many limitations  he has, that made that big of a trade a risk.  Stroud set the rookie record of 177  passes without an interception  too.

Who cares. This douchebag and his wife are going to choose the next clowns to run this circus and the cycle will continue.

This all falls on Tepper. He was gonna kill us for Russell Wilson, then Watson and he couldn't help it and had to have Bryce(told him at the Super Bowp basically) and  has run us into straight irrelevance. Then he has the nerve to allow his wife to be his outlet in  decisions  thar should've been discussed with an outside consultant. This is just a train wreck and his ego won't allow  him to admit it.
