  1. This is borderline insane!! There are only a few select QBs to  be that detailed coming in. I'm talking all time great Qbs. Not crowning him now but his work ethic is definitely  something we all could be impressed with. Most Qbs are getting playbooks scaled back until year 3 and he out here doing presentations.

I think Moront might get one if he gets his poo together

You know what's crazy... he can play but playing fantasy, I noticed  they won just as many games with Tyus Jones playing pg.  Morants next step(albeit off the court)will have to be learning to pace himself. Every play can't be 100 mph.

He was. Hornets IG have him on video at the Miller workouts and dapping him up.

There was also a rumor he took Miller to his crib to show him his cars. Miller has a fetish for cars apparently. This was the pick all along.

Thinking he knows that the ball would move better with him n Miller. One key thing is Mitch in the press conference  saying he sees Miller playing 2 and 3... not 3 and 2. Him n Melo would present a bunch of length at 1 and 2.

These have been my picks for a while now.  Probably need a move up for GG though

Yeah GG upside is honestly of a lottery pick. He is a hardworking and gym rat... no way he doesn't develop!!

I think we would make this deal personally.  If we like Miller it is close to a no brainer honestly, for them.  I would take Scoot personally but this deal would be pretty sweet

Yep, I  think after looking at things that Scoot has  a Mitchell type  game with more athleticism. Miller Simon's and 14 aint bad either. Interested to see how today's 1 vs 1 went/going and then the interview. Hopefully  something leaks out soon to give us an idea.

    I agree completely

I may be in the minority, but I suspect Reich suggested to Corral to use the next year to grow and learn. If traded to another team he would be a project for that team as well. It is possible Dalton may move on after this year. Last year was a lost year for Corral for several reasons.

I would think his agent has looked at the staff assembled  and that shows his best bet to learn n grow.  Itd be his best bet to develop here versus  constantly getting the boot. Scott  probably  also spoke up for him. Matt got the worse possible  scenario. Drafted  by a lame duck coach at the 1 position  that his coaching life absolutely  depended on.

I would so take that deal.

Getting Simons, Miller and someone like Bilal Coulibaly. That'd be nice and set the team up for the future.

And I'd add Anthony Black if we trade back up fron 14. GG Jackson is definitely  on my radar too. His upside has star potential. I think he'd been better coming out next year because his game will definitely  translate  to the NBA.

I agree, that would be fantastic. I don’t want anything to do with Zion. Any player that can’t be motivated to stay in shape is a big no, no matter their talent.

I understand  your logic because  that scares me too. Like I mentioned that in a perfect world  a healthy Zion and  Melo would be tough but so many ifs. Regardless, hopefully  we leave this week better than last year.

It's honestly a gamble worth taking.

Zion is from the Carolina's. If somehow he does get healthy we become contenders overnight. Charlotte just doesn't get "generational talent" type players.

It all depends on if they think they can get Zion right physically and mentally.

It'd take a ton of investigating  behind the scenes to see where he is at mentally but I agree a healthy Zion with Melo... possibly Bridges and Mark would be tough to stop.  I also see the Simmons  deal as a bonus too bc you get Simon's Miller and another lottery pick. I like Anthony Black as well.

Imagine hearing "New Orleans wants to send Zion to Charlotte but Jordan is holding out for Brandon Ingram" in 2019

Yeah, would've never thought that would be a sentence!

If it's zion and not Ingram, gotta get the 14th plus two or three other firsts back. That's how much zion trade value has fallen.

Hayward and the 2nd for the 14th, 2025, 2026, and 2027 first rounders and Zion

Yeah with rumors that the owner wants to rid of him since the newest issues,  14 would have to be added. I would take 14 and 27 and move back up. Imagine if Miller dropped a few and they still got him with a player n pick trade.

MJ really about to trade for Zion...

This is swirling around a bunch of ways but no telling!! Only thing I will say is if  him and Mj had a talk and he is 100 pct committed to the hornets... him n Melo would be box office with Miles and Mark

Shams just reported on the topic again and  it remains that Ingram is the preferred guy. I think that the Pels are refusing to say they have offered anybody in case it blows up but clearly some dialog  has been made.  Also today the Raptors have showed more interest on moving up to get Scoot with Van Fleet being a free agent. Most assume Pascal on the block since Barnes has the same skillet.

Hornets want Ingram over Zion, and last I heard was NO wasn't interested in moving Ingram.

Yeah I saw that on Friday but no telling what negotiations  transpired since. Originally  Pels said they weren't trading either and today they said Zion will be traded by Thursday. So stuff is fluid and if they trade Zion... rather to us or anyone, no telling  what they plan to do. Negotiations always start with a resistance.

I suppose whatever happens…Scoot, Miller, or trading for Zion the team will have to be better. It just has to lol. Being a Hornets fan my head says they will 100% botch this. Being small market with dollar general owners this is a big time decision.

My mind is completely  shot on it all too lol. Like if they do trade for Zion... he has to have gave MJ his word that he wants to play here and will be in shape and committed. Nobody is going to question  a healthy Zion but nobody has seen a fully one either. With both Scoot and Miller back in Today, they are really having a battle on what to do. I even seen not long ago the Raptors trying to dangle Pascal to get Scoot. We shall see.
