Jarvie reminds me of Skinner except with a better attitude and hopefully can stay healthy.  That shows you how good this organization has become at drafting players when they can start immediately. 

Also everyone if you’ve noticed from our broadcast on our favorite sports app…. that 37 and Pyotr have become pretty close. What 37 is doing for that guy is pure leadership and can’t be replicated. If Pyotr becomes all world level for us 37 had a lot to do with that.

If that were the situation then I agree with you.

I think the original point was just a Canes right now don’t have an all pure goal score plain and simple. 37 and 20 are great goal scorers and can play both ways which is what this team absolutely needs but when we need a pure goal it’s not there. I’m not arguing any difference on what everyone saying. I agree with everyone for the most part actually. 20 and 37 are exactly what this team needs as cornerstones. They play great defense and great all fits. They absolutely can and probably will get there as pure goal scorers. Let’s not also forget the third intangible outside of offense and great defense is leader ship. 20 is a great leader and 37 is becoming a great leader. That’s the most underrated aspect they’re learning from 11 and Rod

And to circle back. We would love to have these pure goal scores but 37 and 20 are is it good as it gets and I wouldn’t trade them for anything. Matthew should be killer on this team but he isn’t so we move on with the guys Rod has in place. We trust Rod the goddamn bod.

I've brought facts and stats and even his draft profile to the conversation and everyone else has said "he has gotten better." When in fact, he hasn't. Isn't what the scouting report said. And I think he's a solid/good player, but he's damn sure now the star we expected. And I backed that up with facts/stats. I don't understand why you guys have to get in your feelings. He's a top 50 NHL player. Nothing worse, nothing better. I just expected top 10-20 by now. And he's, well. Not that. Not by a long shot. 

It’s a joke fella.  read my quote. Last night for example 37 was probably the best player on the ice in my opinion. He was is elite as Elite gets last night. Go easy on him he’s 22. By 30 he’ll be the best player in the league

Dude I’m trying to be partial with everyone here but he is only 22 years old my guy. Go easy on him he’s got a long career. This is not like the NFL where guys in their fourth year should be all pros.  that’s not how this works

This^^^^^. Players like Ovi are generational players they don’t come around often.  Ovi and Crosby are in their mid to late 30s. Svech is 22. Gotta give them time.  A lot of these guys that are generational definitely start in the AHL and work out. 37 has been in the big leagues since he was a teenager. In five years svetch could and probably will be the best player on this team scoring 50 goals. He’s not there right now but he will definitely get there.

We kinda have that plus some now. I want both. Why not right?’  As far as those  other teams go in the playoffs, their goaltending always lets them down.   Same as us. Average goalies.  Playoffs need all phases going. ESP goalies.

Give Svech time man. He is 22. LOTS of hockey in that kids career. He is having his best season yet. Next year I could see him get passed 40 goals. His leadership to Pyotr is going to help him keep maturing and become a true leader..maybe captain down the road

A 40 or 50 is also super nit picky Aho has 36 and Svech has 30.

I disagree about this one. I would take Ovi Mcdavid and DEFINITELY Matthew’s right now. As long as they fit Rods culture. 
 

Where I agree with you is we have Svech and Aho as our top with 30 and 36 respectively. Pretty solid. Both very well could go over 40 next year. No other teams have that.  We have a few 20 plus guys as cleanup. That isn’t too bad either. You need other people scoring goals too.

I think what he means is…what if we had a 40 to 50 goal scorer on the team. We lack someone that is pure at scoring as it is. Aho is as close as it gets but he was a second rounder so we can’t complain what we have. We need that 50 goals a season guy to pair with him. Jarvis could be it down the road and so could Svech. Imagine this team with Mcdavid or Connor or Matthew’s or Kreider?  Those guys are natural goal scorers.

I was there for all of them too. Tonight was one of 5 home games I’ve missed all year with my seasons tix. When your team is good you get these butterflies. ESP in the last 5 minutes. Reminds me of when the panthers were good. I used to get those same butterflies. It’s a feeling I don’t take for granted it will never take for granted. 

These games are glass cases of emotion… I need blowout wins in the last 4
