I mean, you probably could make the same argument about Jaycee Horn at this point though.

I mean, Jeff Otah had been a running joke for YEARS around here.

Otah suited up for 60% of his games through 3 years

Horn suited up for 43% of his games through 3 years

not saying I would do this trade but I would most definitely think about trading Horn given I wouldn't pay him with his history.

I am with you, Horn can kick rocks and go dominate on some other team with all his magically cured non-contact injuries like McCaffery.

I just think trading for Jeudy in particular is of no value at all. I would take a 7th rounder in 2027 over Jeudy.

    100%.

We had easy the worst IOL in the NFL and in the running for worst IOL in franchise history. Bozeman was a part of that.

I forget the names of the dynamic duo of dumbass that started at G under Rhule but they had zero playing in the NFL, much less starting for anyone!

Remember when the WCW had that Sub Zero ripoff character for like a week in the 90s?  They were trying to capitalize on the popularity of Mortal Kombat.  His name was "glacier" or "blizzard" or something, I can't remember.

    Glacier.

He was an unlockable player in WCW vs NWO on N64 IIRC .

They had some super silly gimmicks. Robocop as posted earlier, the Wizard of Oz who was just basically some extremely tall dude in a green suit, a mummy. A guy with dyslexia was also a gimmick.

That was rough. Promo work is getting worse too. There's too much leaning into the fourth wall now. They acknowledge that we know it's a work. Everything becomes hollow.

It's like they watched what Vince did the last decade, realized the only real spots they did were the setup and the finish, and decided "hey, let's do the opposite, have no story and no real match, just dudes hitting spots for 7 minutes until the fans tell us they're bored, last spot before boos get too loud wins". Lol

I don't even watch AEW but I think they are seriously missing out on a perfect opportunity and storyline.

Basically, Orange Cassidy wins the big championship and Darby Allin takes major offense to how much Cassidy seems to not care about it.

    Cassidy vs Allin, DO IT!!!

I’m glad you got that reference.  They have become “spot” porn where it’s not about wrestling or even the story  but dangerous spots that are going to leave legit guys like Darby Allen crippled in a few years.  Also, way too much blood.

    sorry for the wrestling rant….

I saw Edge powerbomb some guy through a flaming table and I think the only part of his body to touch the table was the heels of his boots. It was BAD

Private Equity people love DATA, it makes them feel they are smart finding nuggets, getting an edge.

"The percentages are percentiles and not the way you think of grades from your time in school. CJ Stroud’s 18% isn’t him getting 18 questions right out of 100. But, in comparison to Bryce Young’s 98%, it’s of course easy to say Young did much better on the test"

    Lol.

My company recently sent out a goofy excel sheet saying I had to log any time I had any telephonic communications with a customer.

    This was to "capture data".

I cut all my streaming services.  I may sign up for Apple when Masters of the Air comes on, but the cost of all of them was getting ludicrous.

Also, at one point in time, boxing was one of the biggest sports in the US.  Millions watched Sugar Ray Leonard or Ali on network TV.   But all their main events were PPV.  Don't get me wrong, boxing had a lot of problems, but PPV is one of the reasons that it is no longer a major sport.

NFL should take that lesson to heart.

    They won't.

It makes a TON of money.

    lmao this guy

Lol, it was a good scam my wife pulled once.

Basically, booked at a room at a hotel and couldn't make the trip due to circumstances beyond our control. They refused to offer any refund and claimed they had a booked room by us and it would lose them money BS!! They would have our money and fill it with someone else right away.

She just changed the cc info on to an expired card and I was so proud of her lol.

Download peacock on your smart TV or streaming device and sign up. Will probably have to put in a credit card and then they hope you forget about it after the trial Is up.

Can you use a prepaid card?

I used to sign up for stuff like this and then change my card information to a card that expired.

Terrible offense makes a defense look worse than what it usually is

It depends on the static, and how its framed.

For instance, sometimes they call a defense "The #1 defense" based on yards allowed. Sometimes, that's because the offense is always putting them in really bad situations and not many yards are needed to score a TD or FG.

More often than not, the "#1 ranked pass defense" usually sucks. This is because their rush defense is dead last in the league and teams don't bother to throw on them. Less attempts of being thrown on lead to less yards given up and less TDs given up through the air. It skews the statistics that way quite often.

A terrible offense DOES make a defense look much worse often, too. Constantly turning the ball over before the defense can catch their breath after making 4th down stops and then have to go back on the field with little time in-between can gas them really bad.

  12. They should have canned his ass right then and there for not taking the Burns trade. That is one of THE worst things I have ever seen or heard, regarding trades.

On another note, I am willing to bet he had that exact expression on his face when he got fired. He seems extremely dull and slow.
