Freddie kicked it in with his back leg uggg

Isles finished season on a heater. I’m expecting this series and every series to be a real battle.
May the best Canes win.

He’s tied with Zegres I believe.
You’re right, I didn’t know that. Svech will always be the first to do it in the NHL though.

Guentzel.

Jets beat Canucks 4-2. Canes remain 3rd in the league behind the Rangers and Dallas.

Canucks lead Jets 1-0 in the first, game is on ESPN+.
Jets just tied it 1-1 nice.

I thought Vancouver was legit out of the mix, crazy they are still in it, goes to show what losing game 82 means.
Also fify, “canes play well away against not west coast teams”
I honestly think Rod didn’t think we’d lose 82 because our goalie let in 6 goals…
I’m with you on that I doubt Rod thought it was a throwaway game. Letting two more teams potentially dropping Canes to 4th place in the league is giving up too much on home advantage imho. I will admit I was fooled as well and thought Martin would do ok.
Ill be a jets fan just for tonight lol

Yep Dallas will have home advantage against the Canes if they meet up.
Also tomorrow if the Canucks beat the jets in regulation or OT (excluding shootout) they would also have home advantage over the Canes due to same points but more regulation wins (RW) or regulation overtime wins (ROW).
Canes play well away so I don’t see this as a big factor.

As well as Martin played in his limited opportunities, he looks lost so far. Nerves? Settle in?
I dunno, seems like a long time ago since he last played, hoping he settles in.

Martin has a .000 save percentage so far.
Which means he can only improve as the game goes on…lol
See? Up to .500 already *grin*

Going with Martin Necas. Although I have a sneaking suspicion TT may be the one. Necas may feed TT and easy one because we'll need Turbo to step up in the playoffs and not have that "I don't wanna shoot" mentality that has hampered his career, imho.
You took my first pick so I’ll have to go with Martinook.

This is going to be a wild game lol. Glad to see the rooks playing!

Scoring, defense, PP, PK, goal tending, this is a team built to win it all. Let’s do it boys!

So this chart doesn’t do Noesen justice. He had some really nice plays defensively tonight. It also doesn’t reflect TDA properly. Necas and Kuz though man…
I often don’t agree with those charts reflecting the game adequately. It doesn’t take into account critical good (or bad) plays at critical times, etc., it’s an average. Yet one great play can win a game.

Mrazek played well, as did Kuchie. took two PP goals to win it. Good win.
