I’ve never seen a league change its rules as much as the NFL does.

Dont wanna go WR at 33. Just feels like your gunna draft a guy with major hole's in his game, we need football players at every level, get the BPA.
What if the BPA is a WR?

He’s making a complete mockery of the draft process! No team should select him early in the draft. He should have to wait until the second round! Particularly, pick 33.

How about an elite processor?

What about him going prevent and then Shanahan calling a time out to stop that crap?
The following play was a bust. Maybe Shanny should have trusted his coordinator.

Awesome for DeShuan! I still remember him Supermaning into the endzone during the Super Bowl.
He should have had more carries, dammit!

The record is still intact!

No. Stop trading away our good players.

You have to be the most reactionary poster that has ever posted here. First half the Lions were completely dominating and now Wilks owned him. LOL
Did Belichick not own Dan Quinn in the Super Bowl?
By Huddle’s logic, he didn’t because New England had a terrible first half.

Awesome!
Now let’s hire God as the offensive coordinator and we may actually look like a decent franchise.

Jon Gruden and crew immediately won a Super Bowl with Tony Dungy's team in TB.
That was just a crew change. To me, blowup means the general manager cutting or trading away veterans for draft picks and letting the younger, cheaper guys take over.

Depends on the situation. The goal isn't to make the playoffs, it's to win the SB. If you don't think you're getting closer to that ultimate goal at some point you have to do something different. There's also salary cap situations, aging players naturally declining, etc. to consider.
Yeah, but has blowing up a perennial playoff team ever worked?

Never understood the point of blowing up a perennial playoff team.

You have to put fear in opponents, so much so that you're double or triple teamed on damn near every play, and still consistently produce. You have to be able to make FU plays when the whole world knows the ball is coming to you, and yet the opposition can't do a damned thing about it because of your route running and ability to get open, even when the game is on the line. When you are a true WR1, everyone knows you're that guy, without question. No excuses about the defensive scheme, the man (or men) on the other side of you, the QB who's throwing you the ball...you affect the play of others---your teammates and the opposition---with your very presence, particularly when the game is on the line and your number is called. The opposition just doesn't respect you, they fear you.
You’re describing all pro wide receivers. There aren’t many of those in the league.

Ehh I disagree. Julio Jones was a notoriously terrible TD and red zone guy yet he was not only a #1 but one of the best weapons in the league period and demanded a ton of defense’s attention. Moore is a low end #1, probably a top 15 WR.
He’s top 7.

Never will understand what the Teppers saw in him.
Opposite of Cam. Thought he’d be a Drew Brees type.

Huh....? Tomlin was the HC before Tepper was involved
My bad. Tepper wanted to fire him.

Tepper didn’t want him to become the Steelers head coach. Whatever Tepper says, do the opposite.
