  1. My friend's new band's new release... http://www.altpress.com/news/entry/fall_out_boy_drummer_andy_hurley_forms_new_hardcore_bandlisten
  2. Also, it wouldn't surprise me in the least to see our 3 TEs be Olsen, Sandland, and Simonson... I just have a sneaking suspicion that Dickson's days are numbered...
  3. I think Rakim Cox makes the team this year... maybe over Wes Horton... I liked him last year and it appears he has been pretty intense in trying to better himself and play with an edge.
  4. Not only does he block, lights out.... but his tape indicates he runs solid routes and has great hands... I've also seen him listed at 6'4" and 6'6", so he has the frame you want out there too... I'll continue to pick this guy as the steal of the draft for us, and a huge player for us 5 years from now if not before.
  5. I called it a bit after the draft... but this dude right hurrrr is going to do good things for the Panthers for years to come... He reminds me of Kuechly, but on the other side of the ball. And thanks for the title... I will now forever hear "SAY YOUR PRAYERS, LITTLE ONE, DON'T FORGET MY SON, TO INCLUDE EVERYOOOONNNEEEUUHHH" every time Sandland is mentioned from now on...
  6. Do you still play LOTRO bro? I started back a couple months ago and try to play a few times a week. Good stuff, PhillyB
  7. Why do you want to make things real-life personal? I don't see Philly here calling you out by your real name... Just drop it dude.
  8. it did... I had forgot about that one... Still though, I think PhillyB predates bwood by a couple of years, at least... I could be wrong though. It doesn't really matter, but I just thought it was odd that 15 claimed to have been here since the the site came to be, when I doubt he even remembers Panthershuddle.com... or clayj... etc.
  9. FWIW I have probably been here longer than most anyone that claims to have been here a long time, and I have to admit I don't recall bwood being a thing until the past year and a half or so. Granted, I don't hang around as much as I used to, but still... IIRC I've had a brief run in with 15 in other threads in the past, revolving around his seeming need for forum approval (as evidenced by this whole debacle of pop-culture worship Cam Newton had a baby drama)... But I don't "hate" him like a lot of folks seem to. The bottom line is that he's made himself relevant with his actions in the past and the most recent controversy, but in his apparent quest to boost his value to these forums, he has actually just made himself an easy target for, and more irrelevant to, those that will quickly write off what they see as nonsense and posts by shitposters. I love you all equally, as we share these bonds of Panther-fandom. I'd help any of you out with info or in any way I could. But, honestly, this whole situation has devolved into an attention seeking play that just makes the participants look lesser in my eyes. If there is a lesson to be learned here, it would be this: Check your ego at the door around here, because it will be quick to be checked for you. Even if you post something that ends up being "right" or "correct" or whatever, you can still make yourself look like an ass in the process. On the topic of Cam being a dad... Good for him. I just hope we win the fuging Super Bowl.
  10. NOPE! I don't have him, but I've sat Julio Jones and other people when they face our defense. If I had OBJ he'd be on the bench this week. 8 catches 92 yards max. Decent stats in a PPR league, but most people will have better options this week.
  11. Also, I would add that Tampa and Atlanta in Atlanta, in my opinion, are way more dangerous match ups than the Giants. Tampa isn't far off from being a good team, and Atlanta is going to learn from their mistakes.
  12. I'm sorry, but Eli is and has always been terrible in my opinion. In his most successful tenure, the Giants had a good running game and a good defense. They are a team struggling to win a bad division, and that is pretty much the only thing that could keep it close. That, or us playing 2nd and 3rd stringers for the second half. I fully expect, and I haven't really been this confident at all this year despite our continued success, the Panthers to go to NY and dominate the Giants much like we did the Falcons. Eli is in for a rough day, and OBJ can only do so much. 45-10 Panthers
  13. I think this is becoming the new norm in fantasy fiction, lol
  14. Holy poo... for fans of Patrick Rothfuss' stuff... I hadn't heard this from October... http://www.ew.com/article/2015/10/01/kingkiller-chronicle-lionsgate FWIW I think a TV show from this series could rival Game of Thrones in popularity... and Lionsgate is no slouch when it comes to getting things done.
  15. Smitty has said this is his last year. Get it done!
  16. If only Gettleman could go ahead and get another floundering team to trade us a solid veteran WR to shore up our other biggest need. I'm looking at one Steve Smith Sr. here... But yeah. I love the Allen move.
  17. Hi I'm #10 Corey Brown and I have Direct TV ... and I'm #16 Philly Brown and I have cable (drops remote)
  18. I was actually trying to find the numbers of what it would cost us before posting that, but my Google-Fu was failing... Any idea what the numbers look like? I also can't remember if we were to trade him if we would be on the hook for anything other than about $2 million that we'd owe him in guaranteed money (I think he had like $23 million in guarantees and we've paid him like $21 of that so far as best I can tell?)
