  1. 'We have more talent then the Patriots.... practice squad.' 'Can anyone believe our Defense is better sucks less than our Offense?!'
  2. Yeah I don't remember anyone complaining about his play. I was shocked to see him at the bottom of the list. My first thought was 'that's gotta be a mistake'.
  3. Here's the latest from this JamTex idiot. He thinks we only have 2 decent players- Cam on offense and Luke on D. As for Luke, I think it's most likely that he plays. "If Luke K is out for the Panthers defense, their defense is full of holes. The Panthers have no other real weapons. They are average at best without Luke.Looks like he most likely won't be playing because of concussion protocols. Cam can't win it on his own, and the Texans are allot more to handle on both sides of the ball then the Jaguars."
  4. Interesting and informative charts. We clearly get more A's and B's than the Jags in these ratings, and some guys, IMO, are better than this grading shows. I think Oher and Ealy will play well, and Coleman has been a bright spot in the DB.
  5. Maybe that Twitter registration @mikehmx5 was worth my time after all. Gimme that Luke pic......pretty please.
  6. "Panthers defense is banged up on the outside. MLB is their only really good spot. Other than that they're pretty much average." If our defense is average then the Jags are in for a long season, like another 3-13 record.
  7. "I found ZERO players I would call big hitters." Let's take up a collection for this blind Jags fan. He's in need of some serious help.
  8. What a flake. He can go by 'the player formerly known as Corey' as long as he catches Cam's passes.
  9. It's a forum. Post and you're talking to everybody.
  10. Personally, I like Fozzy. Are you saying I have to emotionally switch to dislike if I don't have him making my version of the roster? Don't complicate my fandom. I'm already married. That's enough to deal with.
  11. I normally don't count Tolbert as a RB since they list him at FB, but yeah, keep him too. Gotta keep Webb too, and 6 receivers. My solution for keeping 'em all is in the post above- special unlimited roster just for the Panthers.
  12. We should be able to keep all the players we want. Not the other teams- just us.
  13. That's my wish list if the RB list has to be four. I'd feel safer with 5. "all the huddle"? Really? Either your survey or your memory is a little too selective.
  14. I like Todman and Boykin both, but I don't think it's either or with those two, and if it were, I'd rather have Todman. I see no way Klein doesn't make the team. He's a good LB and can fill in at all three positions.
  15. Inviting a FA to camp and giving him a roster spot aren't the same thing. You can be sure he belongs in an NFL training camp, and even be sure he's good enough for an NFL roster. Putting him on your particular roster, in place of another worthy player, is a different story. We're not doubting that Gettleman and Rivera like him. The question is how much they like him.
  16. Put him in against the NE 1st team D and see if he still looks good. If he does, I feel sure that some other team will scoop him up if he's not locked up by the Panthers. He's too good and too cheap to let go, so I hope Gman likes him as much as the fans do. I'm not ready to say the young guys can replace a vet like (a healthy) Stewart yet, but I think it would be a big mistake to let Wegher go. I'm all for keeping Ward too.
  17. There would be a lot of 'WTF are they doing!!' if Tolbert didn't make the team, but those people probably haven't seen Ward in action. As for Tolbert being a better ball carrier than Ward, the depth we'd have with CAP, Todman, and Wegher backing up Stewart takes care of that. I don't know how the coaching staff feels about Tolbert vs. Ward, or even if it's an either/or deal to them, but it makes sense to me. I think they'll still go with what they think is the best 53, but if it means losing a potential future starter in order to keep a guy who's already played 10 or more years, then I hope the vet can still produce.
  18. I feel like these guys are not only good enough to make the roster, but good enough to contribute as rookies. And if they're not 2 of the 53, I think they'll both end up playing against us. I'd rather have Wegher than Fozzy and I like Ward over Brockel and even Tolbert.
  19. From the 1st post, 5th sentence, and it wasn't a statement about what the offense was. It was about what it hopefully will be. What team doesn't want a strong running game? They were running the ball well at the end of the season and obviously have high hopes of continuing that success.
  20. Standout Newcomer: Oher Best Rookie: Daryl Williams But that can't be. I keep hearing that our OL still sucks and Gettleman is doing nothing to improve it.
