  1. Hope he signs with the Falcons or Saints for the lulz.
  2. Who is going to give a crap where DeAngelo signs? This isn't an 89 situation, he could sign within the division and I wouldn't care. He sucks now. Had a great career, but guys get old. It happens.
  3. I can't think of one player in the 20+ years this team has been around to criticize Jerry Richardson. Doesn't mean it hasn't happen, just means I don't remember it. That's why this is so weird.
  4. As much as people like me bitch about Richardson on the Huddle, has anyone ever heard one player say a negative thing about him until today?
  5. Exactly this. Christ, people think money is the solution to all problems. Hasn't DeAngelo lost like 3 or 4 close family members to breast cancer now? Between that and coming to the realization that he doesn't have much time left doing the thing he's done since he was a kid is going to do things to you emotionally. Cut the guy a break.
  6. This is such a weird one for me. I don't think DeAngelo would lie about this, he must honestly feel like they slighted him in some way. And yet I can't possibly believe that the Panthers would ever intentionally slight him either. AND this involves a person's actual death which just makes the whole thing more squeamish. I don't usually do this, but I'm not going to post any opinion on this one way or another. We'll never know the whole truth, there's probably some fault on both sides. Pointless to speculate. We'll miss you D-Will! Great Panther.
  7. I've been one of Greg Hardy's biggest defenders on the Huddle. Keep that in mind when I write the following: I wouldn't use anything above a 6th rounder on DGB. He is a shitty human being that will absolutely flame out quickly. Don't compare him to Josh Gordon. Compare him to Maurice Clarett. There is an 80-90% chance of this happening. If you say "well don't draft him in the 1st, but definitely draft him in the 2nd!!!!" you are an idiot. 2nd round picks are very valuable, you don't just piss them away.
  8. Whoa, he was pretty good to great at least his first year here. He and Eric Davis were probably the best CB starting duo we've ever had for at least one season...that will probably be soon eclipsed by Norman and Benwikere.
  9. Thank you. I was going to burn this thread to the ground if no one mentioned Matt Willig.
  10. Go to letmetweetthatforyou.com to see how it works. You can have the exact time too.
  11. Whoever photoshopped that was a little brilliant. Plays into the gullible nature of the Huddle and the nonsensical insecurity people have that Cam is actually ever going to leave this organization as long as we still want him here.
  12. You guys are fuging idiots. Ian Rapoport has 567,000 followers on Twitter. You think he really tweeted that out and it just so happened that the only people that saw it are tied directly to the Huddle? I have like 750 and I can't tweet something stupid without at least someone seeing it and bringing it back up. Also, the last part of the tweet was a dead giveaway it was fake. These NFL guys don't throw in little sensationalistic quotes in their tweets like that with the FO supposedly being "stunned". Fake, 100% fake. There's not even anything fishy going on here. It's a loser with ZERO life that decided to photoshop that. There are easy Twitter-fake sites out there that will photoshop tweets for you instantly as soon as you type in whatever message you want under whatever Twitter handle. There's no conspiracy here. Move about your day.
  13. Even if Hardy settled for, I don't know, 5 freaking million dollars, that is not evidence of guilt. You and everyone else understands that right? Maybe he wanted to shut her up or maybe, just maybe, he wanted to end this and focus on getting on with the rest of his life and career.
  14. I disagree with that last part. Ealy, Horton, Addison...all of these guys had their moments this year, but Greg Hardy was coming off a season that nearly matched Julius Peppers in his Panthers prime. And it's not like he's an old veteran that we would consider releasing so a promising guy like Ealy could get more reps...Greg Hardy is actually younger than Josh Norman.
  15. He was literally arrested in 2002 for breaking a guy's nose and eye socket and ending his career. They were in a receivers meeting watching film.
  16. No I didn't. This decision has been implied to have been made a long time ago without even trying to negotiate with Hardy and Rosenhaus. We have no idea what his current market value is. Maybe he'll go get a big contract and that's fine as long as we at least entertained the notion of bringing him back. Not even considering it and not starting any conversation at all is what is so stupid.
  17. I don't even know what this means. You put track record in quotes...there's no "track record" phrase used in my post.
  18. Steve Smith was arrested on assault charges related to Anthony Bright. Case dismissed after he completed a program involving anger management which we saw work out so well post-2002...
  19. I'm not excusing Greg Hardy's stupid social media crap. I actually kinda hate Greg Hardy in all honesty. But Steve Smith did that same crap, ever read his Twitter before he took it down? It was just as bad. Steve Smith was kept because he played at an elite level and helped this team win just like Greg Hardy can.
  20. How much do we think Hardy is going to get in free agency now? A blockbuster deal? Don't think so.
  21. Smith did it, twice, with multiple eyewitnesses. Hardy was accused of doing something, once, with no eyewitnesses and all charges were dismissed.
  22. Then why do we even have a legal system? In the eyes of the court, Greg Hardy is innocent and will stay that way forever.
