  1. Its Styles, Reese, Hill Jr., or CJ Allen for me - I know we badly need offensive line but we cannot draft offense this many years in a row. The defense needs a stud. Hopefully several teams reach for QB's and allow the LBs to drop. I'd even double down and draft two in the front 7 in the first two rounds if we can address offense in FA

Edit: Apparently Reese is mocked top 5, so there goes that. First time I've looked at the mock drafts

Panthers and Morgan need to focus on stopping the run and getting pressure with the front 7. That should be the #1 goal this offseason. Ain't no QB's available to challenge BY so that will have to wait

  2. Buffalo has a much worse roster than Carolina's (besides the QB, obviously). Swap BY and JA and the Panthers go 14-3 and the Bills go 4-13.

Two disgruntled AFC QB's in Burrow and Allen, but there is no way those teams let those players go. You never know, though. I'd easily give 3 first round picks for either

Which one of these QBs would you not immediately trade Bryce for if given the chance? how about that spin? Not including Rodgers of course.

I'll bite. I wouldn't trade Bryce for Lawrence, there is just something fundamentally broken with that guy and we would be pulling our hair out just as much if not more if Trevor was our QB. I'd rather just hope and pray with Bryce. And despite the SB MVP, I would not trade him for Hurts becuase I think Hurts cannot pass at all anymore and his career is about to crater. Stroud is a toss up, he looks broken too, gets off to very slow starts, and isn't nearly as clutch as Bryce but I would probably take Stroud becuase of his arm and size and age. Nix would be the next hesitation. But the rest are clearly better, though Stafford only has 1 or 2 good seasons left

If we do manage to eek out a win I have to imagine it would be in large part due to the moving parts around him and the Rams making multiple critical mistakes.

And saddling ourselves to a $100+ million contract extension for a QB who has started all three of his seasons so far playing poorly at best is an enormous risk that could put us squarely in purgatory. And just for a point of reference. Rival fans who have also watched Bryce Young play quarterback would be thrilled for us to be locked into a long term extension. That is not a glowing endorsement.

I didn't say it was, but if he balls out and wins, he's probably getting it.

  5. On the Bill Simmons pod, the 5 worst teams to make the playoffs by EPA in the last 30 years all won their first playoff game. 7-9 Seahawks, 8-8 St. Louis Rams, The Golden Calf of Bristol Broncos are all examples.

2025-26 Panthers would be in this group.

Also, "Beware the dome QB on the road in bad conditions" is in play here, also "Beware the team that nobody believes in". dome QB on the road in bad conditions lose more than win, and team that nobody believes in wins more than loses.

However at the end of the day its MVP Matt Stafford vs. Bryce Young, and history doesn't bode well for this type of matchup. Bryce is REALLY going to have to prove himself today. His career is on the line. Like - if he balls out and wins, he'll probably get that 100M+ extension. If he flounders, that money is gone. So it's up to him

  6. A good QB would eat with TMac, Coker and the weapons we have. We need a QB, we need offensive line depth, and desperately, desperately need front 7 help. It's basically Derrick Brown and a bunch of JAGs. I suspect they'll go LB in the first, unless a QB unexpectedly drops.

  7. Watching other teams QB's, even old ass Cousins, he looks smooth throwing the ball.... Watching Bryce its like he plays really hard just to make the simple passes. We really have to get a new QB in here. As much as Bryce can be clutch sometimes, it just isn't worth the up and down

fug your lazy ass perspective.  It's beyond old. We lost to the saints because our online played like poo. Give credit to the saints defense. Oh, and the refs suck ass, although inrefuse to blame the refs for any loss.

I've said my peace Chrissy. Bryce played like garbage at home against the Saints, could get to 10 points.

I badly want Bryce to succeed so we don't waste another high pick on a QB, but he hasn't been good enough, plain and simple.
