This board, me included, was beating the drums for both Humphrey and Frazier. I honestly think this board would draft better than the actual team after the first round, like if we had a consensus poll everytime we picked. Panthers wasting shitloads of money on scouting

If you start the season 6-0 and the offense is awesome and you are feeling good...maybe. Not a pre-season trade to make.

They are the highest they can be right now. I usually buy them a few weeks before or even gameday morning

I don't think you guys realize how huge having no short weeks is. No Thursday games. That's insane. Instantly makes us have one of the easiest schedules based on that alone

Hornets have had the worst luck of any professional sports franchise this century. Constantly drafting a slot below the generational talent, all because of the lottery done behind closed doors. It's been brutal and frankly unfair to be a diehard fan of this franchise, and I don't blame anyone for cutting out the stress.

Honestly I don't care if he isn't great at rushing the passer. NFL is going back to a running league and we need to stop the run. We have several players that love to attack the runner now, including two of our first 5 draft picks and the top FA safety we signed.  Get back to tackling and smart football. I'll take a Thomas Davis linebacker over a Hasson Reddick one any day.

It's pretty clear, with FA and this draft, the agenda is don't let anyone run on us, and leave it to Jaycee to bail us out in the passing game.

Maybe they are sensing the league getting back to running the football. Panthers built the same way in the Cam years

The only players they should trade up for are Will Johnson or Emmanwori. If they stay put one of Green, Sawyer, Watts, or Collins should be there. 

Day after...still a little shocked, I think its fairly obvious that the good teams take defensive studs... Falcons, Ravens, Eagles all got the guys I wanted and its like they just know who the pick and the Panthers don't...but I'm optimistic that Tetairoa can be a bonafide #1 which is what we need desperately. I'll be pulling for him. I think he's a better prospect than DJ Moore

I hope that happens, because I would love to add Graham to this defense. He's an Aaron Donald/Quinten Williams type DT. Winning at the line is how you win defense. If Evero can't figure it out with Brown, Graham, Wharton, Brown III up front, then I don't know what to tell him

I think the first four picks are already locked - 1. Ward 2. Hunter 3. Carter 4. Campbell

Draft starts at 5, Jacksonville should go Graham or Walker but might actually go Jeanty. If they go Jeanty, then the Raiders are taking 6. Membou.

Then the Jets will have their choice of Walker or Graham, and the Panthers will pick whoever is left unless there is a good enough trade down scenario. And I actually do think Dart goes 9 to the Saints

I could make the same prediction, but I don't get paid for it. Must be nice to have that job

Still think it will be Walker, Graham, Williams, Nolen in that order. Nolan is the backup option if they trade down. If they trade too far down and pick up a next years first or something like that, thats when you start looking at the safeties or Jihaad Campbell or Grant

I don't think there are any surprises. It will be Walker, and if he's off the board....Mason Graham, and if they both are off the board then Mykel Williams

The Panthers have told everyone who they are going to pick a couple weeks before the draft ever since the Brian Burns draft. There are mockers who have every single Panthers 1st round pick correct for 8 years. It's possible they trade down, but they really want Walker if they don't get a good offer

As much as I love Walker, I say go Warren. He's a Witten/Olsen type of TE and Im sorry but we need that for Bryce and the offense. 

The two blue chippers that you want go to war with in our range are Walker and the TE Warren. Bryce likes throwing to tight ends and Warren is a true Greg Olsen type TE. It's worth the gamble. Having an elite TE has proven to be a winning formula in the NFL

I'd rather have Walker than Carter. Carter gives me Chase Young vibes

I think Kupp would be a good add for Young. He still has some juice in him like AT did the last two seasons

He's young and suffered the injury in the superbowl. He's still very much a pro bowl linebacker. Terrell Suggs suffered the same injury and went on to play at an elite level for 5 more years

I don't get why Greenlaw went for that cheap. I would much rather have Greenlaw than Wharton who we paid more for. We still need competent linebackers.
