Perhaps they know they are going to have to give up this year’s first and second (and much more) to move up in the draft or to obtain a QB and they also know they need bodies in front of said QB
And maybe they think I these guys can wott try k well together and gave the versatility to move around due to injury
who knows...this is year two of Rhule and year two of tepper’s grand vision

I've just got a good feeling about this guy. Had the same feeling about CMC (yea..I know he had a great resume but many here wanted Fornette).
Here are some links to interesting writeups about him:

I do as well. He seems to be comfortable in his own skin
i like him a lot better than Justin Fields from that perspective

We're not going to let the media know our draft plans. No one outside the Panthers organization knows our draft plans.
Lol
the panthers told the entire league what their draft plans were after the last game
..and for the slow learners and non believers there was the Stafford trade attempt

He may be a great one day, but the wrong system could cost a lot of smart men their jobs.
To be honest, that is how you really have to look at this: If my ass was on the line, would I take Lance in the top 10? Would I take Fields? Would I take Wilson after pulling a Bearish trade up only to find out that he is not the answer? What I want as a fan does not matter--would you take Lance if your ass was on the line?
Now, having said that, the owner in Carolina is screaming QB, so I think you are going to get a QB--taking a lot of the guesswork out.
Do you know how many top QBs fox passed on with this philosophy? Even after knowing Delhomme’s elbow was shot?
in the nfl, if a team doesn’t have a qb, they have nothing. It really is that simple
they have enhanced film today. They should be able to figure it out
on the other hand, these are the same people who brought Bridgewater in here despite their acting like he was dropped by aliens at their facility

its pretty damn near impossible this year, how would the Falcons navigate the cap hit?
Not my problem to solve. Just repeating what I saw from, cbs mock, I believe
if the Saints and Tampa can negotiate theirs, I’m sure a way can be going d if so motivated
teams aren’t always smart. Case in point, the jags hired urban Meyer

Pretty sure Ryan's contract makes that damn near impossible.
Nothing is impossible if they want to move on and hey fall in love with Watson .

I loved everything about him
and, didn’t get to see running or other normal combine skills
very calm demeanor. Strong. Very strong. Yes he missed a few to the right but in fairness he hasn’t played but one game this year
there is no way the Falcons are passing on him
thete is also no way the Falcons would trade with the panthers either
btw, I read an interesting projection that the Falcons are trading Ryan, their top d player and several number one picks for Watson
that little mean nothing win against Washington sure is going to cost a great deal stupid

They will. And we are not talking scouts or position coaches here--we are sending the 2 who will be making the pick. Heck, I would want to see Lance--then see the others---just to see how his skill set compares.
It will be interesting to see if they attend Bama and Texas AM too to see the QBs work. (Have they seen enough of Jones? Are they curious at all about Mond?)
There are recruiting links between Rhule and mind back in the day ....we know what that means
he is projected late day 2 to day 3. Would not surprise me one bit

Ill trust Rhule and Brady until they dont give me a reason to do so. Still hoping for Lance or a trade down but preparing myself for mac at 8
Hmmm from the people who brought in Bridgewater and now act like he was some surprise that showed up at their door step
we don’t have any choice but to trust them
filterer is here instead of hurney. That’s the only change
what I want them to do is get who they want, if that is Wilson, get him. If it’s fields, lance, Jones whoever but they best know their jobs are tied to him
no excuses

I doubt they will say anything of value
it’s just coinciding with the invoice mailing
and pro weeks for college kids
as far as the qb thing, they have been running their mouths about that need since season end. Would love to play poker with these people

I dont see the slow delivery at all, maybe on deep throws but he shows zip on the mid range ones
The article is a fairly good one. The quotes are supposedly from pro scouts. Some love him. Some don’t
I do believe he is ‘AJ Macarron all over again. ‘ but I’m not a pro scout.

Quote from article
“When I watched him, I said this was A.J. McCarron all over again," a separate scout said. "The offense. The players around him. He's got a slow delivery. He labors in his movements. If he's in rhythm and everything is working for him, he's a machine. I just question everything about his natural talent, his playmaking, his ability to face pressure and make plays."
Another, after seeing Jones as the Senior Bowl, added: "He stood out in a bad way. He didn't look very strong. He didn't look very athletic. He just didn't look like a starter you want in the NFL."

Yes, got the email this morning. I can't remember 2020 price due to getting covid refund and them taking away end zone seats
That seat business really pissed me off. Tepper started it in dec and waited until the invoices were about to go out to tell people
I love going to the stadium with my friends....Tepper on the other hand, I don’t know. Doesn’t matter what I think.,,it’s his club

I got my invoice today. Found an old invoice from 2017. In 4 years it's gone up 25%
Was it emailed to you ? Still haven’t received mine
I read last year that the Panthers season tickets were among the most reasonably offered in the NFL I’m sure when and if a new stadium comes, that will be it for me
I have club seats and they have not gone up 25% in four years. I couldn’t afford them, if they did
The biggest jump I remember seeing was after the super bowl run with JR as owner

Ugh...here we go again. Look man this team has already danced with a guy that has "potential" and a "high ceiling.". He was a former #1 draft pick and also wore #1. If the Panthers choose to go with another guy like that. This regime better go ALL IN this time around and not try to ride the talent out as far as they can. Build around him and amplify those talents and reach that high ceiling.
As for me personally, I don't want Fields. Dude seems like a bust to me especially when you get around to seeing his games that are against really really mediocre defenses. It's a gamble, much like all the draft choices but I rather they take a gamble on a safer prospect Or just go all out for Watson.
agree on build around himIf they had put a line around him, he’d still e here and not beat to living hell
Fields is a tough guy I’m not sure Wilson or Lawrence are and the Nfl demands it
-
He has an athletic trait that Mahomes and Brees have....
.....great baseball players
the parallel was drawn that that helps QBs get rid of the ball quickly and at different angles

Seeing what Tepper charged for soccer (apparently some of the most expensive tickets in the league for a team who hasn't ever played yet) ... I'm a little nervous with what, if any, ticket price increase might look like for the upcoming season. I can't see how they could justify an increase, but you never know and they'll probably use the "all the money we spent to make the stadium covid safe" excuse. We will see soon
I think mine had a small increase
there aren’t a lot of guarantees in life or in The world of sports unless Tom Brady is the QB apparently
I figure, I sat through Jimmy clausen and for awhile Jeff Lewis and a half of will Grier I drank and survived
Nothing Rhule does could meet those heights even if he did win a meaningless game costing 5 draft positions I drank after that too

He did have a previous DUI from 2007 when employees in a sporting goods store thought he was impaired and called police, they arrested him before he made it out of the parking lot.
Appears has hasn't had any trouble for over a decade.
Looks like it all hinges on the results from the blood tests. Given the high profile nature of the case I'm surprised the testing wasn't expedited.
Yep. Toxicology reports are facts, along with his braking speed, skid marks , sight lines etc and where they were on the road
the only certain right now, is a child has brain damage She is the innocent victim
