Bryce and Leaf are the two opposite sides of the same coin. Bryce has all the mental tools and mindset but lacks the physical tools. Leaf lacked the mental tools and mindset but had all the physical talent. If you could combine the best of both you'd have an elite franchise QB, but as they are they're busts.

The part everyone keeps looking past is that Bryce already has the elements that can be developed. He lacks the part you gotta be born with.

    Yep

i was big on AR and Stroud.  What they have can’t be taught

if they lacked experience or mental acumen for the game, can they be taught …that’s the question

… but no matter what is done, can’t turn 5’9 to 6 ft 3 and he’s not exactly elusive in the pocket either

There is zero path to being a good team next season. But there are steps the team could take to lure me back in in terms of actually thinking the team could be on their way to winning again in the future.

    1) Scott Fitterer in his current role has to go. It is difficult to overstate just how incredibly bad he has been as the GM of this team.

    2) Synchronously bring in a head coach and GM. A pairing that has the same vision for building the team. A pairing that has a plan for bringing an identity back to our franchise and refuses to waiver from it. Just having a plan in place.

    3) Make smart moves in FA. I think the pass catcher room is really where we could find upgrades this free agency.

    4) It will be hard to have a bad draft because we need everything. But quit drafting RAS scores and draft players that fit your vision for the future of the franchise. Ideally we somehow find an LT and let Ikey compete for a guard spot.

    5) We get messaging from the owner about what has gone wrong and how he plans to fix it (doubtful)

There is a 0% chance we are making the playoffs next season. But we could at least have some sort of a blueprint we can believe in 12 months from now. Realistically that is what I am hoping for

    Totally agree

all i will add is, assuming fitterer and all he touches is gone   Im past hoping Tepper will put something if a role  between himself and football operations

    1. Draft olineman, young, uninjured, who fit the offense.   All picks. Dont care   Draft  a OT, center.  Guards   Cant count on what is here   There is a dearth of decent o lineman in the league at large   Draft and grow them

    2. Get Free agent WRs  CBS,   Pantgers have historically sucked at drafting these positions since  2004

    3. a hard look is going to be be made at Horn   Very hard  cant have a player making game tine business decisions

frankly. Im fine with a firesale with only brown being untouchable

there was a lot of ‘quit’ a Jacksonville. Fix that locker room

Our buddy Casillas had an interesting theory on that...

He thinks it's possible Fitterer gets "promoted" to a job where he continues all of his current administrative duties except making personnel decisions.

Fitterer Is said to be very well liked within the organization and is good at handling a lot of the day-to-day stuff.

This is what a lot of us used to hope would happen to Marty Hurney.

    I have no words

…so, the person given a large say in trading up for Young, all the shitty free agent moves is now ,not good with personnel decisions.…,but hey, people like him

…true example of fug up and move up

If Tepper doesn’t apologize by tomorrow his interim coaches will have to answer his actions. Would be a horrible look.

    They should say ‘no comment’

    ’above my pay grade’

just dont participate in the feeding frenzy

  5. There is no justification for his actions

    none

    nada

    zip

    be an responsible adult

    OWN YOUR ACTIONS

admit that you were wrong and are sorry,

that you had options to handle your frustrations like an adult and didnt

    apologize  to the Jacksonville fans

    apologize to your franchise

    make a contribution to charity

move on.  Keep your ass out of  any stadium until you can control yourself

So what do you think proper punishment is for this? Seeing as how players have been simply suspended for much, much worse and often just a handful of games.

    It’s going to be interesting

it could've escalated very, very quickly with a very bad situation and a public relations nightmare for the NFL in that box

we all know people, and have seen people, go bat poo crazy at games and people get hurt over far less

if that Jax fan had been a little bit more athletic and a little more drunk, a very ugly scene could have played out

the shield isn’t going to want that to happen

Congrats to Team Tanaka on the Huddle FF championship this year. Let's do it again next season.

    Yep

it was fun until both my QBs had issues

i knew I was finished so I picked up Bryce for this past weeks game

    lol.  He didn’t disappoint

wilks and even mcadoo hid a lot of Ickey's issues. running the ball 30+ per game and also having a TE and/or RB on his side to help with chipping.

Reich/ Thomas Brown's playbook/playcalling involves leaving Ickey on an island from the shotgun on every 3rd and long

not once, do we ever see help protection or even a play-action called to help slow the pass rushers

Yep and for that, Campen can also go with the OC…i have no. Idea what they do in film review and game planning or self scouting

…sadly, this issue with the two guards and lack of depth was extremely predictable before the season started with two guards coming off major injuries end of last season

Fitterer is a huge huge issue

I disagree. The trade was bad value for us knowing our 2024 pick would be very high and thinking Chark could replace Moore.

We were clearly a rebuilding team after 2022 and it was clear we wanted a QB. We should have traded Burns and Moore when we traded CMC. Get full value and lots of picks (3 firsts, 2 2nds, etc.) and “tank” the rest of 2022 to get a top 3 pick not pick 9. We half assed it yet again. Even though I’m sure Fitterer would have fuged it up somehow, we still did the QB trade up completely wrong. Wouldn’t it have been great to give the Rams 1sts instead of ours and still have Moore? In the 2023 draft, the Rams picks would have been more valuable because we were considered a better team before they had a great draft and we had a shitty one.

Hey, they (Fitterer and scouts) had CONVICTION

and that, is the simple reason why the whole kit and caboodle need to have their happy asses on a fast train out of NC

  10. The NFL is brutal

the weaknesses are on film  he can’t handle speed and that’s a death sentence for a LT  bad feet   Bad hands

until it is fixed, it will be exposed over and over and over

    What is more concerning

    1. The coaches see it and don’t adjust for it

    2. He doesn’t seem too bothered by it

3  Bryce just seems to not be aware to step up where icky used to be quickly…I’m not trying to bask this kid but damned he can be slow of foot for a littLe guy

309 underhang too and it stinks for sure because they have been in the family since they were building out the stadium. 2 years ago I balked at just letting them go, like they have to be worth a good dinner or cheap weekend somewhere but nope they are worthless with no end in sight.

    Yeah

i don’t know what ‘let them go means’

Ie, just don’t pay the 2024 invoice and think the Panthers won’t come after the money and ruin my credit  in the  process ?

I have mine up for $1500 but I am changing that to $0.00 if they let me. I have seen a ton up for sale and I'm not sure who would even pay the transfer fee at this time. I guess the ticket-resalers are still buying them up? I was torn too but it's at the point it's time to walk. I used to live 2 hours closer but still went to a couple of games a year until 2020 and split the rest with family.

I went to the Bucs game this year in TB for free with a friend (tried to get out of it but had to suck it up and had a fun time lol) and for a bad team it was impressive how much of a show they made the entire experience. I have made that trip and game over the years and they have absolutely upped their game there. I can't tell you how embarrassed I was at the fact they have a much better stadium experience. Even the seats were padded and better in the club level. Better food. That was mega depressing to me. Tepper has no idea what he is doing on any level. No wonder visiting fans treat it like a toilet bowl between the stadium experience and the product on the field it is pure garbage.

    I’m In the same place

one year left   Had them for 23 years

i will not support David Tepper

people say they ‘just let them go’.

I don’t see how that is possible without a financial penalty given the contract

I moved to the West Coast this year.  I can’t even give the seats away

mine are section 342.  Silver Club Panthers side.  Under the overhang in the shade and optional lot 1 parking pass.

I can’t tell anyone how sad I am to let go but Tepper has ruined it…totally ruined it

btw. Given the survey I got from them, they want to make big, expensive changes and seat options throughout the stadium

I don’t know who they think will pay for that given the poo show in the field

I feel no connection to this team.  So much has changed, no player is a franchise cornerstone.  If they left and we were to get a replacement franchise, a la the Hornets, I'd be down.

The nfl is all about stars

    the best of the best

    the panthers have nothing

they have a midget who makes great dinner conversations

Kraft just basically got a hooker(not 100% but basically the same thing). No owner in the NFL would sign off on a penalty for that.

Tepper is an insane POS and easily the worst owner in the NFL but he has a ways to go before he gets heat to sell the team.

He has to do something that will threaten the league or other owners. The fans are the most irrelevant part of the NFL.

    This right here…the sad truth

its not going to happen but after today we need to draft a qb at 33.  fug this, I called this like around week 6, he is a fuging bust.  He will never be worth what we gave up for him.  He has absolutely no redeeming nfl quality.  He has been pampered his entire life and when the chips are down he fuging folds.

Now compare that to stroud, kid is already a legend

fire fat fitt, that should be done at 7am tomorrow if not sooner and lets figure this out

Saw a mock today were Pennix and Nix dropped
