Nah we 100% dont need a guy like Reddick on the team. An elite 3-4 edge rusher. No room for him here.

Nobody anywhere in this thread said they didn’t want him. They simply explained why it was unrealistic we could have retained him. Stop with the dramatics.

Not that I'm unhappy with getting Bryce Young a WR to grow with, but they probably needed edge rusher more than WR in the 2nd round.

Yeah I really liked Mingo a LOT but remember getting poo for saying this on draft day. Mingo could honestly be a steal there but if not, we definitely passed on the bigger need.

  3. On one hand we are unfortunately in a position where we have to take gambles to have success. We are in a small market competing in a league where players openly discuss teaming up together at big market teams to win titles. We will never be that destination. So we have to take big gambles to find success and from that understanding I’m alright with it.

The problem is we have the worlds biggest idiots running this team for the last decade. Jordan is still the best player ever in my eyes but an absolute joke as an owner. We have had nothing but clowns for GMs and our coaches have more often than not been in the same circus with them.

It’s not even the moves I’m unhappy with at this point. It’s the clueless why they draw their conclusions to make them that make following this team so painful.

lol no way he is worth that, hornets doing hornets things

As stated, it’s basically pay it to him or let him walk. I’m brought he’s overrated, but he’s still the most talented player currently on the team and very young. Would rather overpay him then let him walk for nothing.

That's crazy. Hornets are the best at handing out ridiculous contracts and crippling themselves

As a rule that’s been true but that’s not exactly how NBA max contracts work. It was basically pay him this or lose him. We did the right thing.

You're sad bro. OBJ just got paid 18mil to be a cancer.

These players around the league recruited him this offseason and last season. You're just a fan hating on a popular player.

    Time to grow up champ.

Yeah, I'm good. I said my piece. Should have followed my own advice and stayed away though.

The dude has an infatuation with the flashy WR position. Tried to tell me OBJ has been a good teammate and hasn’t caused his teams any issues since his Giants days and we should sign him. This was after the Browns suspended him from attending practice of course lol. There’s a group of guys that think nothing is more important than the WR position. This is because it’s a sexy and exciting position. You can put him in that bracket.

If Richardson is starting week1.... then we missed on our pick.... or Irsay got involved with the depth chart.

I dunno, I think Richardson could actually fit what the Colts would want to do going forward really well. That staff has experience working the Jalen Hurts in the offense. Richardson isn’t an elite passer but he IS an elite runner and so is Johnathan Taylor.

Everyone said that Richardson has arguably the highest ceiling but the lowest floor. I disagree. I think his floor is actually pretty high. His running ability makes him a problem immediately in the right offense on a run heavy team. If he can even throw the ball decently, he could start week one and be a real problem

Again I've watch Mingo in person since HS. He is going to be average. Nothing more, but I guess you can go watch his highlights on YouTube. He hates contact and when hit hard early, he gives you alligator arms. But you think he's a stud. Stupid

Yeah, you know what’s wild? We hired the most sought after people to fill our coaching staff this year. Guys that have worked in championship winning teams in important roles. Guys around the experienced and talented guys in the entire league. Guys that anyone with a vacancy would be interested in.

But it turns out they are all totally clueless… I don’t know how you luck into SB winning coaches and elite level coordinators but I wish I had their luck! We could have hired @bobcat91 this year rather than Reich, Brown, Evero, McCown and we could be in business! How much you think these clueless morons are making anyway?

sorry you are right.... GMs always get first round talent with first round grades, no teams ever do boneheaded things and miss on players

"The most impressive performance from a former Tiger, surprising no one, came from Trenton Simpson. The Charlotte native put up 25 reps at 225 pounds on the bench, measured in at a strong 6-foot-2 235 pounds, but his best moment came in the 40.

Simpson wowed the crowd with a 4.43 40-yard dash, with a 1.55 10-yard split. His time trailed only Auburn’ Owen Pappoe’s 4.39.

The stellar showing at the combine earned Trenton Simpson a 6.24 prospect grade per NFL.com (8.0 represents a “perfect prospect”). The 6.24 grade places Simpson as the second-best linebacker prospect in this class, behind just Arkansas’ Drew Sanders"

I am not a Clemson homer, but the numbers do not lie. This young man is going to shine in the NFL and being around the $100 million dollar man in Roquan Smith will help him take it to the next level.

This team needed strong LB play and we just drafted a guy who played 3 different positions in 6 years who was likely headed to being undrafted

What nonsense is this? I’m not disputing that. I’m saying you incorrectly said “he has a first round grade” which is wrong. Because if he had a first round grade he wouldn’t be available at pick 80 lmao.

People miss all the time. But nobody has a first round grade on their he side or he would be gone by now. Use some logic.

A first round grade LB in Simpson is on the board and you trade UP to get a 25 year old LB

Yeah well clearly the NFL scouts don’t view him as a first round grade LB lol. You are kinda proving his point.

I’m scratching my head on this pick as well but it’s obvious the 1st round grade is BS. If he really had one he would have been gone long before now.

I mean, Cam's weapons were just flat out better when he was young and developing.  Which for is the key for a young QB IMO.  You got to give him weapons early.  Especially his first 3 seasons as a pro Cam had a good cast.

I'd rather give a young QB great weapons early and then adjust later.  Not start weak and slowly add.  Think they develop better when life is good early.

Again, I agree with you. I just think it’s unreasonable to assume we have no intention of continuing to add talent for BY down the road and I think our offense is being really underestimated by fans in this board. No, we don’t have a superstar offensive weapon for BY (we traded that guy to get him essentially) but he has real talent on this roster imo. A lot better than most #1 picks get. And there just isn’t value at #39 unless it’s Mayer, but he’s not exactly a lightening weapon. He’s just an all round solid old school style TE.
