dhop might still be in play 👀

No chance. While we don’t have a clear stud WR1, we now have too much good talent at WR to trade any more draft capital for the position. Better off drafting another one late in the draft and developing him than trading more assets for an another WR on the wrong side of 30.

The only thing that worries me about this team is the Dline and oline depth.

Same here. And having addressed virtually every immediate concern, I see the draft playing out quite differently than I did 2-3 weeks ago. Now I think we actually drafts good deal of depth in these positions later on. We no longer need a WR early on in the draft. You could almost argue we don’t really have a lot of room for an early WR pick now unless we are giving up on TMJs development which I do not at all believe is the case.

I think OL and DL depth we go for in the middle of the draft. Literally BPA in round to. Maybe a CB, LB, Edge, TE. Could be anything. But then I think OL depth will be tackled. It’s amazing to think about how many holes this roster had a month ago. Now suddenly it feels like there are very few remaining. Suddenly depth really is our biggest concern.

Mahomes is already better than Brady, he could retire tomorrow and be better. Longevity is literally the only area Brady is better than Mahomes (for now).

Brady is the absolute goat. Mahomes is not that. Mahomes is an incredible player and could pass Brady one day.

But no, he’s not anywhere near the goat status or Tom Brady at this point. And he’s my favorite player in the NFL so I’m not knocking him. But it’s absurd to say he’s better than Brady.

These Mahomes comps are overboard. Already 2 championships under his belt. The man is 1 of 1.

Mahomes will probably end his career 2nd only to Tom Brady. I get the excitement for finding our new franchise QB but I agree with you. These comparisons are getting out of hand lol

So you still holding on to his NY days huh?

Let it go bro. Dude has matured he has a family now. You still talking about crap he did 5 years ago. It's 2023 OBJ hasn't been in trouble since his Giants days. He's a SB champion.

Gotta get with the current times man.

I gave you a list of things all after his NY days. What an ignorant post and a poor attempt at deflection. You got check mated and tried your best to save face. You failed.

From the way Fitterer was talking today about not wanting divas on the team, it's a fair bet he doesn't either.

I’m really hoping Chark is in the process of packing his bags. I know he has had injury issues, but when healthy I think he’s actually a legit low end #1. Dude has size and speed and has produced when healthy in bad situations.

I think Thielen, Chark, TMJ and Hurst would be more than enough to make a rookie feel comfortable behind a solid running game

What has he done that makes him a cancer?

Let me guess you are judging him off his Giants days like everyone else who hates on him?

Crazy how this dude won a championship and people still trying to make him out to be a diva. This is not Antonio Brown dude.

Oh really? He only showed his ass during his giants days? The Browns didn’t kick him out of practice and make him leave the facilities while he played there? He didn’t post videos of his QB missing throws to him on social media to start a controversy while he was there?

He didn’t throw punches against multiple players after leaving the Giants, most notably against the Ravens multiple times? He didn’t stir up more attention and controversy handing cash to LSU players specifically to get the spotlight? He didn’t get drug tested in LA after a game and freak out?

Dudes a douche bag. He was in NY and he has been ever since. And I only brought up instances after he left NY. Never mind fighting Josh Norman or throwing his QBs under the bus while he was there.

What else ya got for me hotshot? Since you think I can’t list numerous times he’s been an ass and that I’m just uninformed, you need anymore from me?  Remember him punching and kicking the kickers net like a child in another tantrum? Need more?

Yeah, I don’t want this drama queen around our rookie for good reason.

OBJ might be more realistic than I thought.

    A team reportedly offered him 4 mil a year.lol

If he's that cheap I see no risk in a 1yr 8 mil prove it deal.

Don’t need him around our rookie. OBJ is a tantrum throwing diva. He’s an elite receiver and if we had an established vet QB then I would be all for it. But for developing a rookie? Keep that cancer away.

With the players we have now?

Yeah when you factor in how poor our division is, absolutely I think that’s achievable. We nearly won this division last year with a combination of three starting QBs, all of which are worse than what we will have this season, a clown show coaching staff and we have improved our team significantly across the board. We have a better secondary already it’s the addition of Bell, a 3-4 which puts Burns in his best position, a healthy Horn. We have an improved RB running behind a great line, Hurst and Thielen and rumors of Chark potentially on his way.

We will have a massively improved coaching staff, an improved offense, improved defense and the team that beat us for the division title last season is now in rebuild mode.

At this point the Falcons are our biggest competition on paper followed by the Saints. The Falcons are the only ones who seem to have improved without significantly from last season and I think there’s a very real chance we are ahead of them.

So yeah. I’m not saying we are SB contenders, but this division is not good. And we are on the best current trajectory. I think we take it down next season at this rate.

Is anyone else scared Fitt gave him way too much?

Fitt has been incredible so far this offseason. He’s embarrassing all the clowns saying he was trash and needed to get sent packing with Rhule. I trust him. He’s killing it right now. We look like we can take the division immediately at this point.

Now all we have to do is resign Cam and draft BPA.

Cam is probably the best Panther of all time. He’s easily in the top 3. But it’s time to let it go. We are drafting our new “Cam” this year. Can we just retire the “resign Cam” posts and comments now?

Why would we care if he plays for the Tigers? The Tigers do not play in North Carolina

That’s not the point. He would have played for the Tigers, Jaguars, Lions and Panthers. He will have the right to take @TheBigKat screen name if he signs as he will have represented all big cats.

  13. Wait, what? Krovvy is acting like a pretentious dick to a poster for no reason other than he likes to get off on how much cooler and smarter he thinks he is compared to everyone else? And when he gets called out on doing it he just keeps doubling down and can’t admit he’s wrong thinking this somehow verifies he’s correct when all of does is show everyone is arguing with his much of a douche he’s being in that moment? I’m shocked. I’ve never seen him do that before. Never!

I don’t think tepper gets the credit he deserves for sticking with Rhule for so long. Was it a mistake? Yes. But he gave Rhule plenty of time and space to right the ship and that’s honestly a good trait to have in ownership.

I agree. We all knew Rhule wasn’t the guy after year one. But I think you still have to give guys time and it shows guys like the new staff coming in that they won’t be immediately canned…. Which may bad why they feel they can come here and build something. Because they know they’ll be given time to do what they want to do.

I still believe most of that is all true. He is behind the worst stretch of a 30 year history. That’s on him. And he is still keeping the yes man ‘GM’ Rhule hired who didn’t stop poor decisions being made, including going after Watson.

However, this is an A+ coaching staff being assembled and that can be acknowledged at the same time. not sure why it can’t?

Tepper is a ‘180 guy’ as I have always said. He gave all control now wants no one to have control. He went with college clowns and now goes all pros. Seems he’s dialing in, unfortunately as fans we will have to wait for that.

He also doesn’t like people who argue with him, despite his insistence he does. That is why he doesn’t get along with Payton and Harbaugh types. Reich is a fluid, but knowledgable and easy going guy. Hopefully he learned a lot from the  Colts stint.

And make no mistake, Tepper wants all the credit for turning his mistakes around. It’s exactly why he refuses to hire help. He doesn’t believe it’ll be a lengthy learning curve, however with the Hurney, Rhule, ‘it takes seven years’, and Fit (imo) fiascos it’s hard to not be skeptical.

Nevertheless, he has the right people now, he just simply needs to take his hands OFF.

Oh and get a QB. That’ll be the tell. Fit isn’t qualified again imo to evaluate whether a guy is worth trading up for, but, and hopefully, this coaching staff is and they have some say.

I don’t really disagree with you. I think some of you are mistaking my point. I’m simply pointing out that two months ago this place was throwing nothing but hate his way and now they are on cloud nine. It’s just humorous to me and why I’ve learned not to take the posters that post 50 times a day here as seriously as I used to. Because  it doesn’t take much to change the dramatic crowd from one end of the emotional spectrum to the other.
