This is us in two years. I wouldn't be making fun of the 49ers. Purdy got that deal as Mr. Irrelevant. We had the #1 overall pick. Talk about a team crippling contract. They still still have a window if their key players can stay healthy. We haven't even reached a window yet, let alone it being open.
And people on here really tried to tell me winning wasnt that important along with bryces development the next 2 years. So you want to pay a QB that's not top of the league AND has yet to produce a winning season? Yeah count me out.

Really hoping Bryce takes the next step in proving he can be a franchise QB. But if he doesn't, I really hope that the Panthers can accept it and move on.
Let us pray.

It's not over yet. It was such a lopsided trade to begin with that anything short of him being a top 10 qb is a loss for the Panthers.
And were clearly not even here yet... much less winning games. The bar is really low.

If Bryce ends up being "the guy" then the Panthers won the trade. If not, the Bears did.
It's that simple

We have our guy. That's all that matters.
I'm not labeling anybody off a 5 game sample size that wasn't even overly impressive. Put together a full season and actually win some games then we can talk.

I'm still pissed about last night. A lot of people have checked out on the nba and rightfully so. Nothing they do makes any sense anymore and they could careless about small market teams.

Still high on XL because we saw glimpses of greatness despite the deck being heavily stacked against him. I'm not ready to raise the alarm over drops considering that the guy was a rookie with a first year coach and the top option in an offense that sucked ass for most of the season.
It's funny how this excuse has only applied to bryce in the last 2 years.

I mean, Legette is tracking as more of a #4/5 WR than a #1 WR at the moment.
Based off what exactly??

Panthers have said in the past that arm length is important for them at OLB they want 32" arms at least. Walker's versatility and drive can over come that. In the end they went with Tet and I'm okay with that only because they got Scourton.
This.

As I said during the draft, everybody was too focused on Sanders and hunter to notice how great horn was. He is gonna turn heads fast.

PFF made it up just to make Bryce look better. Crazy right?
Also I can’t believe you said he played “better.” Careful and you might let a compliment slip…. (kidding)
I think its funny how a lot of yall still haven't grasped the reality of just how bad bryce was prior to the benching. So that means that just bout anything that wasn't a complete disaster was an improvement from him on the surface. That also qualifies as better at the end of the day. This is a low bar here.

Hmm....Now who were the folks arguing with me after the draft when I said clowney could go??

Never even heard of a "big time throw" stat till bryce started playing better last year.
-
As I been saying, he has to put together a full season of good play this year. No more cherry picking stats of a few games. If we went based off that then most qbs would be top of the league.

He had 84 targets but I wonder how many were catchable. Bryce threw him a lot of shitty balls
Omg...the last game against the bucs where bryce hit em on a fly route down the sideline and the ball was severely underthrown and folks on here were mad because XL couldn't turn around on a route and make a catch with a defender covering him that was between him and the ball. That really took me out.

Jalen Hurts went 14 of 21 for 108yds in that same game too...
If we're gonna cherry-pick stats, of course.
Good teams play down to there competition...it happens. I don't know why yall think this doesn't apply here as well. The jalen hurts in the playoffs blows this team out, same for mahomes and KC.

I'm a bryce hater, if he put up those numbers i would never say a bad thing about him again. Now, if he puts up 2900 17 and 9 will you want to move on from him?
Probably not, they would just say he is moving in a positive direction and the big leap is next year.

I deleted the part of your post that you were talking out your ass.
Of course he needs to play well. Who is saying otherwise?
fug ya can't make this poo up.

I am confident he'll be fine this year.
That's also not hard to understand.
Yall were saying he was gonna be fine his rookie year and then going into second year. We are pass that by now, like i said he is needs to play well without having the meltdowns where he needs to be pulled off the field for a few games. When that stops then we will be getting somewhere.

Love anyone whom quote a season that is really a story of 2 halves. Keep reaching.
And that is actually the concern. Great qbs put together FULL seasons of good ball. There is no benching to clear your head or taking a break. Are we gonna get a full season of good play this year? It's really not hard to understand.
Anyone else think we’re getting too hyped

Panther fans getting overly exciting about bryce for a third year in a row? Nah...thats not what's going on.
