  1. Boston wanted to run with instead of recover it. Luke shows him how its done.
  2. I think touch on that ball would have given the safety time to make a play on the ball. I think that had to be thrown there. Now the throw before that? I think a little touch on that one would have been a TD.
  3. "We don't need these points now, we'll just score them later" is ALSO a stupid rationalization. The best way to keep your hole from getting deeper is to stop digging.
  4. One more TD and that has my full support. 25:00 left in this game.
  5. So a full half to play and a determination of "we dont need any more points" was made? Thats a horrible rationalization and utterly unworthy of an NFL coach.
  6. Great point, but in the past we'd be turning that field position into FGs. Cam Fuggin Newton is turning them into TOUCHDOWNS.
  7. Thats 2 throws that have hit Thor in the hands that he's dropped. Nevermind... FUNNNNNNNCH!
  8. So this game is over and an NFL team doesnt need as many points as possible? NFL teams can never come back? Good to know. Flies in the face of everything I've ever known about professional football. But good to know.
  9. Far from "masterful". Rivera was CLEARLY ready to sit on the ball and wasted about 40 seconds farting around calling plays in the huddle with the clock running. We kicked the FG from around the 25 yard line. What are the chances that an NFL offense can score a TD from the 25 yd line with 40-45 seconds left? Rivera played SCARED. Cam Newton is slicing Washingtons def like a surgeon and Rivera played SCARED.
  10. Damn right it was, especially considering Cam was having to run/pass through his Head Coach's "STOP!" sign the whole way.
  11. If Riverboat Ron hadnt turned into "I'm a scared pussy" Ron on that drive and wasted 30, 40 seconds, could have had PLENTY of time for attempts at a TD there. Utterly scared call, Rivera, and it should embarrass you.
