  1. For me, my total apathy began the season after the super bowl loss..watching this team to squandering the Cam/Kuchley era having Gettleman whiff on a DT in the 1st rd...Cams injury..then partnering that up with Matt Rhule and all that sheteshow.

Imagine what could have been if the front office then had the same investment into the Oline and WRs we commited to the last 2 years!? Cam would have had legit targets and a RT not whiffing on Von Miller. Its a lot..but I can be brought back.

I am 100% all in on this coach and front office. I think this may be an all timer draft for the team. So some wins can be the medicine i need.

Good pass catcher and very good on pass protection per the "experts". Can't hate that. We still don't have a safety though.

I wonder if they are punting on FS in the draft and going to return to a vet like the ones they brought in. Did Blackmon sign yet?

  3. with the Saints being one of the needy QB teams, 8 seems like the spot to go to if you want to control which QB you would want. Sure Dart and Sanders are not world beaters so having zero trade partners is definitely a possibility. If they like Mykel, a FS or the Michigan TE then trade down.

  4. Trade Down is my No.1 option to get more picks but if staying at 8, Id look offense. Since we used a lot of capital on defense, in free agency Id give Bryce his Greg Olsen in TE Tyler Warren or take Marcus Golden  We can use our day 2 pick on DEs etc.

My Do NOT Draft guy is Tet. He is a faster Dewayne Jarret but softer.

  5. He started off the year like he was not going to continue to play in this league, even as a backup. I am beyond thrilled he got to watch an aged Andy Dalton navigate the pocket, make adjustments and saw a QB play with intent. It slowed the game down for Bryce, he was able to connect the dots and quickly correct his flaws. As a Bryce critic from the draft, I saw enough this season to say he is our QB and a guy who you do want to root for.

  6. Forcing a 3-4 from a 4-3 creates quick fix personnel moves and patchwork re-shuffling an organization has to make.

What we see on our defensive roster are a bunch of castoffs and journeymen so I do think the problem is more the "Jimmy and the Joes" vs. The X and Os. With that said, the defense being historically bad without seeing results in the changes to the defense is on the coach. Evereo also seemed all in for DJ Johnson too which makes me cringe that we traded up for that older/project who is another practice squad cut in the near future. Sorry I like to pick at old wounds.

  7. This core of less than mediocrity cannot be bought!!

Oh, but who is the next polite, historically undersized QB who has less than average atlecticism, transferable NFL skills that scouts will code as "anticipation"?

Look I am not an NFL scout or a douchey owner of a team but if If his comp of the next top pick  is a point guard and not a QB.... I am ALL IN!

For me, the super bowl is botching the #1 pick when it is obvious in real time that the odds are against it work to an average outcome...the only way to mentally cope with the Tepper era.

  8. Sitting Bryce made the offense better obviously but helped the defense just as much. The defense was allowed to be coached up while we were at least converting a couple of 1st downs on punting drives and also was able to catch a breath. Also scores motivate a defense to keep trying, they tend give less than full effort if down by 30 at half. Mike Jackson was allowed to shine.

Bryce, or as we should call him, "5' 3 N Out" is just not going to be it...ever..in any role.

  9. if only there was some way to measure how tall he was or how marginal athletically he was or that he was unable to win a National Championship with 4 and 5 star players all around him in college.

You trade to no.1 to grab prototype guys that have elite traits. It is not that hard.

The next time a scout describes a player is a point guard, or elite at anticipation....it means he is prob not a QB.

  10. Tepper demanded an all granite/marble special structurally engineered ceiling for his casa which is an almost insanely dangerous ask..so rolling some real grass may not be an insane ask for the stadium upgrade wish list.

I read there was promise with replacing the rubber pellets with shreadded natural cork but that could have been NFL owner propaganda so....not sure how much validation there is on safety.
