  1. The response will come at the start of the second would be my guess.
  2. Nah still 85% of a game left alone anther and yeah probably
  3. Well Staal with a brutal turnover wasn't one i had in the bingo card
  4. They really have to make it so you can challenge penalties make it a limit if 1 that's renewed if you win. I dont care what they say about "slowing down the game" just make it so you only have one and you get a minor if you lose. Will eliminate the majority of the horrible calls and no calls the nhl has.
  5. Florida is dirty as hell they just constantly commit dirty penalties knowing less than 1/4 will get called
  6. Before I saw your post I had actually checked my HDR settings on my TV figured my kid switched it lol
  7. Not just you too white like the contrast is off
  8. Woooo slavin laying monster hits! Dude ups the physicality in the post season
  9. Soooo basically what they did against new jersey and Washington.... The droning heads are annoying mute it and put on 99.9 for tripp. They are also acting like those 4 one goal victories (actually played 6 games of ice time with all the overtime) agaist a depleted canes team two years ago matters.
  10. Why anyone cares about draft grades before any of them play is beyond me simple click bait.
  11. He has average speed for NFL wide receiver... as in all WRs not just bigger receivers. Average is 4.494 yes its a pro day 40 but he ran a 4.48 here's a list of guys who ran slower pro day 40s.... Davante Adams 4.56 Keenan Allan 4.71 Micheal Thomas 4.55 Deandre Hopkins 4.57 Heck Mike Evans ran a 4.55 at the combine. Slow is for sub 6 foot and 200 WRs is anything after 4.54 Slow for 6+ 200+ WRs is anything after 4.6 Even if you add a couple tenths for the pro day time he's likely faster than comparable body types like Evans,Thomas and Adams. Slow is Kelvin Benjamin and his 4.67 pre acl tear.
  12. While I don't believe its a must win, (we have been better on the road this post season) it is definitely A NEED TO WIN the longer this series goes the more pronounced the Canes advantage on rest and health will be! If we hold serve at home in games 1 and 2 guaranteeing a 6 game minimum series for them if we lose the road games..... by the game 4 and 5 I expect them to be beat they have played A LOT OF HOCKEY the last three years, they have MINIMAL rest off a more physical than one might have expected series vs the leafs.... you know Tampa took their pound of flesh in round 1 from them. Combine all that with the fact that even though this year's canes squad isn't as talented as last years this IS a better squad than the one they swept last time that had McKenzie Mckeathern on line 1 Turbo with a broken hand a banged uo and eventually concussed Slavin (and even though it was a sweep 6 OTS and 4 1 goal losses is hardly dominant) This year Bob hasn't been superman (hes probably gonna still have a great save percentage agiast us just a side effect of our style) Thatchuk is maybe 50% (3 game winners agiast us) their defense no longer has Gudas and several other downgrades. While the Canes have a healthy and performing Svechnikov along with other big guys to counteract florida like Carrier, Jankowski, Robinson. I by know means think it will happen but I either see this as a low scoring dog fight or a series were the canes surprise and end up dominating.
  13. Oh shoot I was at that one too, ironically right before mine lol. Ive been to a ton since I didn't do a full 20.
  14. Kung foo was right the lightning did win 3 strait ECF but that was during not one but two shortened seasons.
  15. Yes a technicaly but what I was looking at was full seasons played, the lightning won both their cups in shortened covid years..... 10 games less in 19 and 20 and 22 games less in 21 22, basically the extra post season wear and tear would have only been the equivalent of full regular seasons. It's never been done in a full length 82 game 16 game minimum playoffs format.
  16. For the playoffs i think you could do a best of five for round one if they expand the playoffs by two teams and give the top two seeds a bye.... But a best of 7 is hockey gold they won't be changing that for the latter series trust me. I will say I absolutely hate this divisional format they've had the last 8 years..... Half the best teams got knocked out every year in the second round because they are playing the second best conference team in round 2.
