It wasnt just the split i dont think, it was also Cannales swapping backs mid drive after 1 or 2 carries, he really wasnt letting either one get a rhythm going. -
Rookie pass rushers rarely get 10 sacks regardless of were they are drafted, Thst said you seem to be assuming Scourton will stay a 5 sack guy, (which i don't) he tops out as a 8-10 sack guy tho IMO if hes your primary pass rush threat, has the robbin to a pure rusher i could see him getting more though.
