A game of inches and milliseconds, Aho stops a puck that would have made it 3-2.
That's the kind of full team defensive effort we need!

He is a leaps and bounds better goalie than Bad Koochie. Bad Koochie is basically Spencer Martin.
We just have to find a way to get Good Koochie back before it's too late and we wear Freddie down having to start 100% of the playoffs.
Bad koochie is probably worse than Martin IMO because bad koochie it gets in his head and he makes insanely risky plays looking for highlight real saves.
Edit
Well rod fugged us on that he should have pulled Koch after goal 3 against the kings it was blatantly obvious it was a bad night, but nope he let's him sit in there to allow four more goals, its what killed raanta after that 7 goal Tampa game he was mentally fried, hes now also done it to Martin Kochetkov and Anderson (Anderson is the only one I'm fine with he literally just bounced back with two shutouts after it happened) but Anderson is a cool head large positioning goalie.
I'm guessing we will have to ride Anderson in the playoffs until he's burnt out now.

Yeah, Montreal probably lost out on a couple more cups for doing that to Roy 1 time, he told the owner to go to hell and went to Colorodo, not comparing Kucci to Roy, just an example
It accomplishes nothing, and destroys a goalies confidence
This is rods biggest issue he absolutely refuses to adapt even when his way isn't working.... ron Rivera esque

He still hasn't faced many shots. But, Kucci looks to have settled in towards the end of the 2nd.
Goalies have notoriously fragile egos. Leaving a guy out there, with a battered lineup in front of him, for goals 5, 6 and 7 is gonna linger for a bit. Hopefully, Pyotr's got it out of his system now.
This is why rod leaving guys in when they are getting shelled pisses me off so much.... dude screws guys up for multiple games when it could be a blip if he had the sense to pull them

Average breakaway goals given up if you don’t give up breakaways is 0. Out of all the things to hold against a goalie a breakaway just isn’t one of them.
It's one on one it's still part of a goalie job

Not trying to be too negative but I sense we are gonna need at least 4 to win.
Gotta get the offense cooking ASAP
Don't think you are anyone with even 20/80 vision can see Kochetkov is shook

I don’t blame goalies for breakaway goals.
Average shootout/breakaway save percentage is .712 AN average goalie should he saving 3 out of 4

Can’t blame the goalie for that one
What are you talking about thats 100% on Kochetkov look how out of position he is he isn't allowing the d behind to box out either

Yeah, we can't do that to him. It fugs him up.
I said it during the LA thread that rod was fugging him up worse leaving him out there to give up seven, the psychological has an outweighed effect on goalies man..... i can't think of any other coach that leaves a guy in to allow 7+ goals he's now done it too four goalies in the last year and a half

Is Kochetkov hammered??
That game the other night is in his head.... smh this is why you don't leave a shaken goalie out to continue getting shelled.

Canes bounces back after the kings game in glorious fashion. The new guys are kicking ass and taking names. Another trap game potential and the preds play us well. Plus it’s the return of Brady Skeji. LFG Canes!
Didn't we already bounce back

The espn list lumped ties in.... it's GAA...
And don't for a second think I'm tooting Kochetkov merely pointing out there are FAR worse options.
Freddie on the other hand has been a rock.

Enjoy this ride. It’s going to be different this year…I promise.
The Devils are a mess this year, I wouldn't be shocked if we sweep them again, i don't see it going past five games.

It's a regular season game, I am done being happy just to make the playoffs, I want the damn cup, and I don't trust Anderson after the latter new York series
I agree with you about the cup, but you are being dense in the head, even with the epic meltdown Kochetkov is the #7 goalie in the NHL this year statisticaly and Freddie's numbers are Equal to Halleybuck (obviously hasn't played as much)
The thing is if that's what you want pull for Freddie because they aren't going to find anyone close to his level right now
