I do love watching Olympic hockey. I just don't want to risk any of our guys.

Same 🤣 and it will be on NHL sized rinks this year so it should ratchet up the intensity (conflicting because it makes me want OUR guys there even less)

Is it wrong that I hope we barely get any Olympic players selected?

Nope not at all but still means we will be down at least Jarvis,Slavin Aho.

Dont want them getting hurt in games that dont matter to us

Wouldn't get to that it would be head to head for all three teams first.

    We'd be 3-1

    Bucs would be 2-2

    Falcons would be 1-3

    Ding ding ding

We can win only one more game and take the division lol. We'd just need to count on the falcons to win their last 3 games and the bucs to lose to the dolphins. If all 3 teams finish 8-9 we get the tiebreaker. Obviously the 1 win would have to come against the bucs.

Even better we can tie the bucs twice and not actually have to win a game at all provided Atlanta wins out it's perfect

I'm shocked but you are right.... honestly could happen if the rams can some how clinch before they play atl

Brother re-check that guarantee...my page shows 30mill.....thats means he's staying in my book for at least til the end of 2026.

Im going to be my normal honest self, besides watching like half of the SB, I didn't know the guy. My guess is Panthers have a "planned model of paying players" and they almost had to spend a chunk of space on a DLman after Dbrown injury season gave them a nightmare out-come of worst D in NFL scoring. Once Milton got above Dbrown payments, they went with the plan B. A player whom the "co-GM" put his name with. Brad said turk would not be a problem off-field and leader, which the Panthers need badly. I dug in with the google-fu, I found out

I also found him playing lots of NT, which was shocking given the small frame. He seems ready for a bigger role and had a great SB too. IDK, I feel Dan Morgan was dead set on not going into this season without more DL depth and its there.

The real deal is this, nearly all FA take one year to "adjust". I think turk is trying too hard and causing injuries as a result for his contract. Dbrown called turk "strong as hell" and I know for a fact Dbrowns has insane core and strength numbers. They lift together with the 50 LB difference...... you always lift with a guy who's similar in strength cause you can leave on the 8 wheels, let the other guy lift while you rest and go after him.

I do wish he had a better beginning to his panther career, 3 games for him to do so and it would cover up the low points if he made a few plays....

Again it felt like they almost had to make move/spend $$$ and Morgan was going to have DL depth this season no matter what...My best guess.

He's looking at as a post June 1st and calling the 4.8m that we would lose against next years space as the dead money instead of the 20M in actual dead money.

Oh, they're good teams. You're just jaded by the Pats/Chiefs dynasties of recent years. There's no dominant teams this year on the NFL but the Pats and Bills are legit SB contenders in this year's league.

The Bills are winning the SB this year..... JA is gonna be the darling and the story of buffalo first super bowl victory will be written as a wild card...

Said when he was drafted, there was a Cam Newton aspect to him.....you almost had to go all in on a one of one offense made just for him.  We made it clear we were never going to do that and therefore the entire thing was pointless.  Putting him in Frank's offense and than Canales O is just mind boggling.

I was pro Bryce for a minute.  But once it was clear we were just inserting him into traditional offenses and playcallers? Well, it was time to move on yesterday.

That all in offense has to have zero routes past the line of scrimmage.... all routes look like the WRs are running a reverse because with bryces patented 15 yard drop backs and complete inability to throw past the LOS the perfect system for him is the 100% exclusive all HORIZONAL PASSING ATTACK

The Turk signing never made any sense. Turk was basically a five tech pass rush specialist in KC benefitting from playing beside one of the best all around DTs in the league. He didn't fit our scheme at all. It was baffling.

Just another example of a dumb ole Huddler seeing something obvious that our decision makers were evidently blind to.

This was a knee jerk pivot signing when they lost Milton Williams to the Patriots (who was playing very well prior to getting hurt two weeks ago)

Yea he’s bizzaro Cam Newton.  The scheme that works best for Bryce is the one where he doesn’t have to do anything.  That’s not a scheme that works in the NFL.

I'm not sure there is a scheme that "works best" for Bryce that involves more that the 8 passes chris weike through vs the falcons way back when ahhh the wildcat 95% of snaps maybe?

Yeah, that's unusual. Was it a big high school?

I'm definitely not a fan of how dumbed down it seems like the NCAA has become. I've always acknowledged though that a college head coach's job isn't to get his players ready for the NFL.

It's to win games, and for that you gotta do what works.

Yea it was a big school my freshman and Sophmore years were in a 5aa school in Texas, but even here in central NC at my decent sized school in wake county we ran what power heavy guard pulling, iForm 13 personal and 12 personal with a pretty advanced coryell style PA attack (granted my school in texas we were state champs) and Here in east wake we lost the 4AA semi finals, so these were both "football schools"  the offenses and defenses we ran back then are 20x more complex than what you see out of power conference schools now...  its crazy.

I had someone argue with me the other day that his career had been similar through three seasons of starting. I mean....define "similar." It definitely hasn't been statistically nor results.

Completely different eras of football too Brees first three seasons were before the no contact after 5 yards rule.... when DBS could mug WRs all the way down the feild....  Bryce would struggle to average 50 yards passing a game in that era.

When XL was drafted it was acknowledged by many he wouldn’t be very good paired with Bryce….which he isn’t.  Bryce had something to do with that.  Bryce needs players that help him, XL needs a QB that helps him.  He is raw and what he should be doing we don’t really do.

you ask him to participate in our bad screen game and run crisp routes to catch spotty balls?  That’s not XL.

XL just flat out needs to time out physical and run dudes downfield…..and then needs good balls on to of that.

Dude is a raw dk metcalf.... a quarterback who can't see the middle of the field and doesnt have the arm strength to zip plants and deep posts isnt gonna do him any good.

From the 70s through the 80s and a while after you could define most offenses as either Air Coryell, WCO (Walsh) or Erhardt-Perkins.

The core philosophies of those systems are still around and I still use the terminology to describe concepys but I don't know that too many are strict adherents anymore.

Reid maybe. Harbaugh is an old school kinda guy and Greg Roman is his OC so I'd expect a heavy WCO track. Carroll is using Greg Olson out in Vegas if I remember correctly.

But yeah, with people style offenses being all but extinct at the college level, it's a tougher transition anymore... especially at quarterback and receiver.

(remember one GM saying something like most college guys vouldn't recognize a route tree to save their lives)

I mean I'm an early millennial and we ran a lot of these concepts when I was in high school in the late 90s early 2000s its crazy how over simplified college ball has become.

Bryce got the absolute most out of these guys.

🤣🤣🤣🤣 omg you are so funny you kill me 🤣🤣🤣

2023 Chark and theilen both had their best games of the season the one start Dalton got 🤣🤣🤣 AT had 1/5 of his total yards in that game and 2 of his 4 TDs.

Fast forward to 2024 ALL of Diontes production came in the 6 starts he had with Dalton he had 2 targets for ZERO YARDS IN THE FIRST TWO WEEKS WITH BRYCEY AND THE MAIN REASON HE WAS LET GO WAS HOW PISSED HE WAS WHEN BRYCEY STARTED AGAIN.....

Im done you are so deluded you can't see the truth.

I'm talking more Walsh style WCO than Coryell.

I know they used to refer to Air Coryell with similar terminology but after Walsh blew up, I stopped hearing that term used outside of Walsh / Shanahan/ Holmgren and company.

I use it just to describe the PA/deep up/fade/corner and post...  those were pretty non existent in the original spread, coryell is the run and shoot type stuff now a days i think.

I think modern wise all offenses have a form of coryell now though as well as elements of the spread/west coast.
