Panthers fans will see a guy who had more production last year than all but 1 of our WRs combined and say "no thanks he sucks"

Hes not getting "market value of 15m" otherwise he would already be signed....

I'd love him here tbh his injury history is why he isn't signed and won't get the $ amount he wants.

His market value is 15.7 million. Not worth it to bring him at his age, at that price. If we were to bring in a veteran, DeAndre Hopkins is available for 2 million market value. I've said this in other threads, get Keenan Allen to play the slot. He's as good as a pass catching tight end and is market is under 7 million.

Hes not getting that or he would be signed.....

McMillan/Coker down the stretch, healthy, combined for ~45% target share.  Our RBs accounted for ~12-15% combined.  So you've got around 40% left between WR3-4 and TE1-3 all divid up marginally and dependent on matchup.  That's a huge chunk left that another real receiving weapon would help tremendously.

Not opposed by any means.  Especially if that means said TE could play slot like Kittle.  Guys like LaPorta and Hockenson do so as well.

The nice thing about Saddiq is his proven ability in both slot and in-line.  It's what BAL always envisioned for Likely that hasn't happened yet.

So it gives you a guy who can play there while you can throw in Tremble/Evans in-line.  Also allows us to play 13 more which opens up the run game.  He could really open up the offense overall which you need w/Bryce.

And then it puts less pressure on needing to find the dynamic/shifty guy we've always pined for since Smitty left.

That being said, I'm not buying any reports after last year haha.

Well it won't happen in Baltimore seeing as hes a giant

I think that is the first goal of pretty much every team. No one seeks to make it in via WC, in August anyway. You take what you can get, but you always set out to win your division.

People look around at their division foes and say okay we can probably expect strong rushing attacks. So we’ll need a stout run D. Mandatory. Etc.

We drafted TD basically to spy on Vick. We could do nothing with him up until then. It kind of helped but they were still putting it on us too often for a while. You have to match up to your division.

Kind of? Nah buddy your memory is messed up we went from getting gouged by DVD to sacking Vick 7 times a game the next year.

Said he was just horrible in the playoff game vs Chicago. And yeah, down the whole year.
But was excellent maybe 2023. We have to hope for that guy to suit up.

and yeah I am for sure on draft OT. Depth is non existent.

Hes probably an upgrade from Ickey pass blocking....

I don't get hangovers, mostly because getting drunk is a chore. My beach routine is a bloody mary @ 11, beers til 4, Don Julio/rocks the rest of the night. Nada, zip, zilch... nothing.

I dont mainly because every since I found out I had diabetes and started taking glp1s the desire to drink is like completely gone, that stuff kills more cravings than just food

Hopefully not at all. His wind up is crazy, he isn't particularly great in the pocket, and his arm strength is questionable at best.

A guy I REALLY hope we are interested in is Cole Payton. He needs some work, but this kid has tools.

None of the scouting reports ive seen question his arm strength, in fact they all say hes got a cannon, now his mechanics and footwork? Awful.

I'm pretty sure it will be earlier than we think.  I think Canalas has a crush on this dude.  He is the only qb so far that Carolina has met with. Not sure why he is ranked so low.  Looks decent and hes got an arm.

Size, Good speed (enough to be a duel threat at 4.6)  physical talent. I'd throw a 5th at him to develope.

What fans don't understand when they hear "BPA" is that what it really means is the "BPA for OUR team" which factors in things like the needs of the roster, scheme fit, etc. Every GM is going to claim that the player he drafted was the BPA. It's nit like you're gonna have one step to the podium and say "Listen, I know we passed up on better talent but damn y'all, we were desperate for a *insert position here*" even though it's very obvious rhats exactly whats happening with some picks in every draft.

It means not reaching for a NEED, it doesnt mean you have to take the consensus bpa, you take the BPA that could upgrade your team even if its not a DIRE need.
