If not the worst, he’s up there.

I think I’m about done. The Georgia state fair is going on, so instead of watching the game, I took my daughter there. I was really about done when I took my daughter to the falcons game, and of course we laid an egg. In the stadium, my daughter turned to me and said she didn’t wanna be a panthers fan anymore. She started rooting for the falcons. That broke me, and now I just don’t care. Frank was the wrong hire, Bryce was the wrong pick, and Fitt is terrible. There is no light at the end of this tunnel

    Ouch. A falcons fan?

Exactly, while I'd love a 20 year run like the Pats just have or the Chiefs are about to have, half the reason I love this franchise is because we are a complete dumpster fire most years.  The wins feel so good and the loses suck so much.   I don't even know if I would care about a team where I knew we were going to win every week, and the weeks we didn't was just some random fluke.

You like that we’re a dumpster fire? That’s a new one. Please give me a quarter of the successful years the pats had or the chiefs are having.

  3. Remember when Cam Newton broke out with 422 yards his first game? Looked the part. Took your breath away with the thought of what’s to come? Yea, this is like the absolute opposite of that. Makes me think we just traded a poo ton of draft capital on a dude that will be selling Toyotas in a few years. Hell, his dad knows what’s up. The look on his face. Seeing his dads face tonight reminds me of my face when I saw my baby girl struggling at 8u softball. They are your world but you realize they aren’t going to be D1 athletes.

We made a mistake. This child isn’t it.

  4. Look, we got popped in the mouth. Now we get to see if they respond. If this coaching staff is what it’s been hyped up to be, then it’s on them to light the appropriate fires. Our O-line is better than what they showed last night. Hopefully they get pissed and prove it

  5. As a hornets fan I’m assuming we made the wrong pick. Whatever truly happened with the Brandon miller case, I hope he learned his lesson. I hope he puts the right people around himself.

I wanted Scoot. Still want scoot. We drafted off need not talent. BM has talent but most of the scouts I read had Scoot by far a better prospect. I’d love to be wrong. I’m under the impression that lamelo ball can make any player better. Fingers crossed

Jonathan Mingo NFL Draft Scouting Report

    WR, Ole Miss Rebels

Jonathan Mingo is a senior receiver for the Ole Miss Rebels that has played in more than 40 games during his time at Ole Miss. Throughout Mingo’s career, he has continued to develop and carve out a bigger role for himself. He posted his best season in 2022 with a regular season stat line of 48 receptions, 800 yards, and five touchdowns.

As a receiver prospect, Mingo has a noticeable physical presence. Listed at 6-foot-2 and 225 pounds, Mingo has a well-proportioned frame with a muscular upper body and a dense lower half. This frame helps Mingo be an effective receiver in multiple ways. As a route-runner facing press coverage, Mingo has shown the ability to use his strength and quickness to play through defensive backs in press coverage and quickly get into his route. Once Mingo has the ball in his hands, he also uses his strength to become a difficult receiver to tackle for defensive backs.

Mingo has a physical approach to getting yards and has consistently been a difficult tackle for defensive backs. Mingo’s physical presence running with the ball after the catch appears to be his best trait as a player. He should be utilized as a player that teams quickly get the ball to, putting him in situations to pick up yards after the catch.

Mingo’s areas of improvement as a player start with what appears to be a lack of true down-the-field speed. Once Mingo wins at the line of scrimmage he has a tough time truly separating from defensive backs vertically. This results in him usually having to make a contested catch in man-to-man coverage. Mingo has shown he can make contested catches but he usually lets the ball drop into his hands versus him going up to catch the ball at the highest point, which gives defensive backs an opportunity to make a play on the ball.

Overall, Mingo’s run-after-the-catch ability and dense frame make him an intriguing wide receiver prospect. In the right offense that uses quick screens and jet motions for their receivers, Mingo has the ability to be a highly productive player on the next level.

  7. I’ve come around on Bryce. His tape speaks for itself. Every interview I’ve seen shows me a guy that’s poised under pressure. He just seems so calm and collected and that seems to translate on the field. I think we’ve developed a pretty good offensive line and assembled enough offensive weapons that will give him the time he needs to process the speed of the NFL game. I can’t help but cringe a little when some predict immediate nfl success, but dammit with the coaching staff we have put in place, I am very excited to see what happens. I think having Josh Mccown, Frank Reich, and Andy Dalton to draw from is as good as any other coaching staff in the league. And even though I have pictures of Tua getting rag dolled that loom in my head,  im hoping that the team we’ve assembled can limit those hits to Bryce. I’m in. I’m excited and I can’t wait to see this team compete!
