The Charlotte area has pro football, pro basketball and soon to be pro soccer.

How do you feel about pro baseball?

(and the Oakland A's in particular)

Yes to fuging both. A’s have been my favorite team since I was a kid. It would be nice to see what they could do with an actual major league payroll.

  2. Tremble, to me, is a bit of a head scratcher just because of where he was taken. Didn’t expect a blocking TE/HB with the third. Saying that, I’m actually pretty excited to see how he’s used and what he can do within our offense. I just have to look at him as a lineman that can consistently get into the second level AND catch the ball.

Yea? We about to find 6 gems in the 7th round? You’re ridiculous if you think this is smart

    Pre-Draft Analysis

Owusu-Koramoah is an instinctive, agile and fast weakside linebacker who always seems to be around the ball. He's fluid, smooth and fast in coverage. He flashes the ability to pressure quarterbacks with his closing burst and suddenness. -- Steve Muench

According to ESPN, he's the highest rated player still on the board. They have him at #12 overall. He's considered to be a 3 down player so he isn't a liability in the passing game. We need playmakers at every level of the defense. We really don't have an impact guy in our LB core.

I would prefer a LT in round 2, but if this guy could play I wouldn't jump out of a window.  He would make the defense better from day 1.

I thought JOK would be gone already. I know the needs with tackle and I’m a big proponent of addressing it, but I’d jump at him if I had the chance. Good luck opposing QBs getting a pass off with this D that we’ve assembled.

This can only happen if Fields winds up not being a franchise QB. If he's a franchise QB (which there's a pretty damn solid chance of) then even if Horn becomes the best CB in the league it would've been dumb to pass up Fields.

I’ll always believe Fields could’ve been really special here. For what it’s worth I think we got the corner in the draft.
