It always triggers me about hamstring issues and WRs.
I blame the NFL career leader in hamstring issues- Devin funchess
Memo to all players coming to NC- welcome to humidity!! in order to be a professional NFL player you must hydrate before you enter the hellscape. Grapes, fruits, pure H20, sport Pedialyte the night before and you should be able to avoid the nasty hamstring issues.
I think Luke talked about eating chia seeds one time to hold more water

I don’t expect Hubbard to eclipse his play from last year. Glad he got paid. Hopefully he can stay healthy and dependable. You always need someone waiting in the wings.

When your QB weighs 200 lbs when soaking wet, then yea, you better put a ton of money in front of him
Exactly. Can’t have pressure up the middle when our QB is 5’10”

If Young doesn’t look top 10ish I think you move on. He’s a number 1 pick with no excuses. Has to be a franchise QB.

Thankful for the “neat” factor if anything

Shouldn’t tear others down to lift others up. Unless it was a rival team making fun there’s no context for it.

I’d love for Bryce to do well but I’m still cautiously or even skeptically optimistic. He looked terrible and he’ll need to play very well in spite of his physical tools. Last year doesn’t count, a portion of last year definitely doesn’t count. Teams and players always look better when the pressure is off.

I’d rather not lose anyone from the defense. I’d want someone that knows Evero’s system for consistencies’ sake

Some of you Bryce haters can call yourself realists all you want to but even if he did put up those stats or better next year, you would all just say "well let's see if he can do it again, because a lot of quarterbacks have had one good season" or "not that he's good so much as he has so much talent around him". You wouldn't give him the credit he's due and it's exhausting
He looked awful for his debut and it will take a while to get that out of people’s heads. He has limited physical tools that will only diminish as he gets older. Giving him a long term contract would give me pause.
I’m rooting for him but if he plays well enough to bring the franchise back to respectable/average that would be the W. I’d rather find a better QB with better tools eventually.

I like how he always stays in bounds and gets extra yards near the sideline. Somebody might pop him late eventually but it’s good to see.
-
You gotta give him a shot so you can move with no “what ifs” if he doesn’t work out. Just gotta give it time.

Getting this late in the draft i love the idea of drafting the biggest dudes left lol, I don’t think Gettleman’s hog mollie theory is that far off

Who would the panthers Int’l place be? I assume Germany. I hope they show it

Dorian Strong and Isiah Bond are around for 120 maybe. Who knows? I’ll prob stop watching after 120

I wanted that huge DT

Love this. Edges are getting so light with all the 3-4 defenses. Glad we got a proper bulky guy that can play 5 tech or edge rusher.

Anyone saying an Edge wouldn't change the defense is crazy. Micah Parsons wouldn't change this defense?
He definitely would but I just don’t feel that from any of the edge prospects this year. They all have big Qs.

LOL. Two first round wr picks in a row. Tepper is really trying to convince the world he was right with the Bryce Young pick.
In the position the team is in you have to support your shaky young QB. Either he flourishes or you can prove that you tried and he’s not cutting it. Bryce will have no excuses and they can move on if he stinks and a new QB would be effective with some weapons.

They going to have to trade up in order to get a decent edge
No edge would turn this team around this year. I think it’d better to stay put and draft whoever you get.

Never be desperate. When you're desperate you're gonna get fleeced. We shouldn't be desperate to trade down. Be willing to take the best player on your board if there isn't an appealing offer.
Watch something like trading #8 to Sean Payton in Denver for #20 and #85 or something equally awful.
Man that really would be awful.

We have to be bottom 5 in the league at draft success. It's miserable to look at that. So much to the point that I had to stop reading the list when it got ugly - which for me, was #3 lol. Yes, Cam was a homerun but also number 1 pick. The rest of that draft...yikes.
Historically the Hurney era was pretty darn good in the 1st. The Ravens were probably the only team that was consistently better.

I disagree with a lot of those rankings, 07, 04 and 13 are too low. It’d take too long to redo it but I’d have fun making my own.

It’s definitely possible. Can’t stress as a fan too much. I just hope we draft a HoF player with every pick each year as usual.

I watched it so much as a kid but the studio audience and urkel are horrifying. It’s definitely better for the era.
