Nijman might be a serviceable LT but we still aren’t sure when Moton could go. I think you have to look very hard at OT in the first two days. I’m also really surprised at them letting Mays test the market unless he wanted a huge payday. I’m not sold on many edges coming out of the draft unless they are total freaks of nature. I’d rather not take a chance on an edge, I swear they mostly bust. One of the top LBs like CJ Allen would be a thrill to get.

Carolina Panthers: 6.5 wins (Over -120 | Under +100)
Donald LaFell replied to PootieNunu's topic in Carolina Panthers
Maybe we try to bank picks for next year lol -
I agree more than not with all that but it’s just a much much better spot than we’ve been previously and I think we can go through a coach/qb transition without a 2010 kind of rebuild year.

We aren’t in danger of being in the basement anymore and if we keep drafting well we could get to the playoffs after a while. I don’t mind if we get a new QB and coach eventually but we are “stable” and I’m grateful for it.

Should Dave Canalas be on the HOT seat??
Donald LaFell replied to Jackson113.2's topic in Carolina Panthers
The team is still in a tough spot. I think a competent GM/HC could do everything right and still only get 7-9 games next year. Hopefully we’ll get better after moving on but the Bryce trade and Bryce himself are still limiting the team. -
NFL.com mock draft: Panthers trade up for Reuben Bain
Donald LaFell replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Even for off season fluff this is a terrible mock and a terrible idea. This team needs to nail every draft for the next 2-3 seasons at a minimum. -
Rozeboom and Chanel: Our ILB free agent wish list?
Donald LaFell replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
Roseboom seems bought in so keeping him as depth seems like a good move. He’s not good enough to start and if he doesn’t like ST I hope he can get money somewhere else. -
We should draft a Notre Dame TE to have an all ND tight end room

I think I recall that season partially because of how the Colts rested their starters against Broncos the last week then blew them out the next lol. Then the Pats shut down the number 1 offense and picked apart the number 1 defense on their way to the SB. That felt like such a well coached team.

Bryce needs an elite o line to be effective

Would you draft a pass rusher or draft one?
Donald LaFell replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
Not sure if you find a premiere one at 19 so you probably go with the draft and sign some journeymen specialists to get actual pass rush. -
Rico Dowdle sounds like he’s gone
Donald LaFell replied to MichaelNewtonII's topic in Carolina Panthers
Wish him the best and hope he gets paid on a longer contract. The NFL and rookie pay scale isn’t fair for RBs right now -
For the rest of his career I’ll just be expecting an implosion style game. It can happen against top or bottom tier teams. Doesn’t seem like he can handle the expectations of being the main dude. Has to be an underdog first.

I am giving away two tickets tomorrow FOR FREE
Donald LaFell replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
I hope someone gets them! I can find good loud fans to give them to if you can’t find anyone for whatever reason. -
I am giving away two tickets tomorrow FOR FREE
Donald LaFell replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
I posted a lot on here when I was a kid, i don’t think I went much until 2010 when tickets were cheap lol -
S Fowler Coker in, Legette out as wr2
Donald LaFell replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
I didn’t realize he was still number 2 lol -
It’s way too expensive to take a flyer like that on someone. It’s insane. It’s stunning how we can’t move on.

It never really rained, lightly misted mostly.

That first game was the most times the ball bounced our way since like 2003. It was nuts. Every risk we took paid off and the Rams made mistakes exactly when they needed to.
