If we draft Young we pretty much have to have to at least try to have the best offensive line in the NFL.

Deep dropbacks make me think of Shula and shudder lol

Too bad Hurney sucked at literally everything else... and too many of his 1st round hits were at the lowest value positions.
Yeah I think that’s partially why. Picked the sure thing.

Does every tweet need its own thread?
Honestly a “Twitter” sticky would be nice. Any truly new information would have a full article. This stage of the draft season is rough.

I've really come to despise sports media.
It really is the “no such thing as bad publicity” concept on steroids.
Clicks and traffic are king. The news has to feel “new” even if nothing has changed.
Cable television made hot takes a thing and the internet more or less is just rotting our brains for a multitude of reasons.

If you draft Young then O-line becomes a necessary strength. Things can change quickly. You can’t afford to ruin him.
-
Yeah if we pick Young he’ll need elite protection for sure. I like the Washington pick, he’ll hopefully be an elite blocker day 1 like Gronk was.

If Cam is serious about playing football, I'm sure the USFL wouldn't mind having him. Try to bring ratings for them and compete with the NFL. Or you could use the USFL as a tryout for NFL teams next year.
I feel like he could probably only throw the ball for 2.5 games before his shoulder gives out again. Sad times. I just hope he saves his money and lives a long happy life.

HBO is losing ground…I personally can’t find a reason to keep that sub since Game of Thrones. They didn’t plan well. Flat out quit watching Last of Us. Too boring
I love all the murder mystery mini series they do. There’s another true detective coming too. Succession and Industry are great. Then all the classics like Sopranos or The Wire
I get it free with AT&T so that helps.

Both out guards took major injuries, but the same could be said about our CBs. I'm fine with a lot of picks at 2 but that just seems redundant.
I wouldn’t be mad at either.

It’s a tough spot. With Cam the other QB options weren’t anywhere close. It was basically a choice between him or other blue chip talent at other positions.
Stroud has the least compromises overall.

Anybody ever watched how much differently a million dollar+ horse behaves?
They KNOW they're the poo.
Is this real because that sounds like an interesting topic to google

wonder and lick
Did you know the mystery flavor of the dumdum lollipop is just two random flavors. Instead of cleaning the machine they just let the new flavor push out the old flavor at the factory until a certain tolerance is hit.

I worry that he might have overplayed his hand. I’m sure other teams might pay him more than the Ravens but I doubt anyone will pay him huge money if that’s what he is after.
Ultimately he ends up with a worse franchise and a worse team. But if he can tens of millions of extra dollars that’s great for him and his families future.
-
If you stank then you still probably stink. No matter how stellar your offseason was the odds are that a stinky team with all new staff and a rookie QB is still gonna stink(at least the first year).
It’s just conventional logic.
If the pick is Young then people will really want him to fail to prove themselves right that a small QB can’t cut it.
If the bears look strong early in 2023 then the media will be salivating for them to have a shot at Marvin Harrison Jr with a high 1st.
Overall the Panthers failing will be a much more exciting national story than success unless the team storms out of the gate. Then by mid season we’ll be the dark horse SB pick clickbait that pisses everyone off.

Why am I getting scared of the draft now lol Please don't ruin this great offseason by picking Levis or Black The Golden Calf of Bristol.
I like that the filter will never leave lol

Guess nothing came of his assault charge?
I always heard rumors from his time at USC too but I guess nothing came from it

Wilson’s arm length and hands are huge for his size. So I don’t feel like the comparison holds up unless Young is also an outlier in that area too.
also prime Russell Wilson was just on an incredible team. Those draft classes were outstanding. Who knows how things go without that supporting cast. It’s a little bit of a chicken/egg thing too.

Whatever gets you motivated. Lots of great players take a lot of stuff personal because it drives them.
Yeah CMC was mad we traded him to a better team lol

What is it with these personal attacks today?
It’s kind of ironic but interactions on social media/Reddit are always so much more positive than anything I encounter here. It’s downright toxic.

I understand these players are built different but it’d be hard to turn all that money down. I hope it works out for him.

I forget...was that the TD that ended up with that stupid penalty called by the Refs for removing his helmet?
Definitely. Ultimately I blame Pinero but that didn’t help.

Good for PJ, wish him the best.
That long TD bomb to DJ nearly changed the season.
While I have tried to forget a lot of the season, it’s hard to think of many good passing plays that were not PJ involved.

I love seeing a guy that was on the verge of not playing in the league at all show out and get a chance to establish a nice nest egg. I wish him the best!

Is Sheena Quick the most reliable reporter when it comes to Panthers news?
in Carolina Panthers
Posted
Not sure any local reporter has ever distinguished themselves as far as reliability etc
