I would dare US Soccer to watch this and try and convince me as to why Berhalter should be retained
-
I’ve seen it said elsewhere and I kinda believe it, but the fault with Gregg is he is trying to force a “system” and get the players to play that instead of taking in the best players and forming a system around their strengths like other national teams do. I think we’re one of the few teams that plays the same formation every game. Dest and Robinson would be better served in a system with a back 3 so they can push a play higher. Gregg should be let go and bring in someone who is going to make best use of all the players in the pool. Fererra showed he’s not a WC caliber forward because he can’t be physical at the 9 position. They’ve got 3.5 years to figure it out

@ellisis THRIVING on Twitter right now as Rhule keeps opening his mouth lol

I don’t care about draft position today. I want us to destroy that corny motherfuger Wilson

This dude is gonna get skull fuged by Penn State, OSU and Michigan every year.
Ego. The thought of being able to be “The One” to restore Nebraska to prominence has to give his ego a raging boner

Qatar already eliminated, so it’s been a real good day at the World Cup

Richardson or Nix in the 2nd round. Use the 1st round pick to draft a pass rusher to pair with Burns or trade back and acquire more picks

Well the tank crowd probably going through a bottle of Jergens right about more

Nice start for Ecuador, up 2-0 at the half. Valencia with both goals (one from the penalty spot). Nothing better than seeing a third world country show up one of the wealthiest countries in the world (though it was expected).
As for the disallowed goal, I understand the explanation, I refereed soccer for 15 years, however, the explanation doesn’t match what my eyes are seeing. Maybe someone else sees it different than I do.
I reffed for a few years, but long ago. Correct me if I’m wrong, but offsides is dependent on where the player was when the ball was played correct? In this case the player deemed offsides was well onside at the time the ball was played

That last quote is the most interesting to me and makes a ton of sense

I like our squad, not a whole lot of changes I’d make.
Pepi for Jesus, anyone except Long and Malik Tillman for Roldan or Morris. Berhalter just too stuck on his mediocre MLS guys

Yeah it was obvious these were bad hires from the get go. What he gets out of letting them go I'm not really sure. I'm glad they're gone though, the less Rhule stench lingering around the better.
Maybe slightly better coaching for young players who will be core pieces going forward. If Wilks had problems with Snow’s scheme, I would bet he had problems with some of the staff and how they teach technique. He might have been giving these guys a chance to coach technique how he wants and saw that they werent

And to think all of you UNC guys were wondering if Mack should've been fired too.
Wilks is the guy. Wilkes County is in NC. Wilks went to college in the county next to Wilkes County (Watauga). Tae Hayes went to the same college. Wilks loves Charlotte. Wilks will be the next head coach.
Too many twine connecting to the same push pin, right on Wilks right ear.
Can confirm. I am from Wilkes county and also went to the same college as Steve Wilks and live in the Charlotte area

Draft Brock Bowers in the 1st and then Daniels at QB in the 2nd

Obviously you missed the read option earlier that resulted in positive yards due to a split second decision. Look I don’t think the dude is a first rounder but what I’m reading on here you guys have never watched him play. It’s not one read passes, he reads the entire defense and sees the field so he knows exactly who is open. Not saying RPO works in the NFL but the RPO in its nature is not one read at all, it’s what you see because of his ability to READ the defense.
Lol bro, as an App grad I have watched every game we’ve ever played against Coastal. I have seen McCall play in person. I’m not saying he isn’t good, but he isn’t good enough to warrant the amount of defense you’re heaping on the kid in this thread. I have seen Chadwell’s offense in person multiple times, I know what it’s quirks are. McCall has even said it’s the same offense he ran in HS in Indian Trail. He has tools, but he would be as much of a developmental QB as Corral is

Anyone who has actually watched Coastal’s offense can see that it’s all 1-read passes based on getting someone wide open off of motion and option. You don’t see McCall having to go through many progressions. Usually if he has to, he ends up trying to run

Rhule’s loser mentality is rooted deep. We still don’t fully know how to win and Wilks is trying to correct that. Just gonna take a little more work

It's hard to shake from a loser mentality once you become accustomed to it.
I really wish the tanking crowd would understand this

Asking who is replacing Robby(ie) as #2 is the wrong question. The question should be who is the next best deep threat? because that’s probably what we’re losing with RA and all he was really good for

A1 is my A1 for steak. Love it.
I dont mind ketchup with eggs, sometimes I occasionally crave it when preparing them, but I play it by ear... my go-to nowadays with eggs is hot sauce (Texas Pete).
Don’t sleep on A1 on eggs. I had never done it until I was on a camping/Mtn biking trip and no one brought hot sauce and all we had were A1, ketchup or regular Heinz sauce. I went with A1 and it was mind blowing how good it was

Texas Pete or A1 on my eggs

Honestly, wouldn’t bring back Fuchs or Afful. Need to get younger at the fullback spot. Be interesting to see if they keep Armour there. He has said they see him as more of a winger. I think he could make a really good attacking fullback though

Yeah I heard their emphasis on this at the end of that clip. Just adding more fuel to the fire for the lawsuit Wilks is part of

If Greggggg is retained, watch him switch his entire system to a double pivot midfield because France and Brazil are both running rough shot through the WC with a 4-2-3-1 at the moment. Gregg gonna look at the Barcelona model like it’s old and busted
