    If he thinks Bryce is throwing the ball great, he can leave next year along with him. He needs to man the fug up and say that to compete week in and week out he needs to see more from his QB. Coddling him like he's a toddler is a disservice to the entire team.

    49ers can't have 2 competent QBs while we have 0. They can keep Purdy, and I'll find a way to root for Mac Jones. This would already be a playoff team with either of their QBs

    I think a coach like McVay would see it as a fun challenge. Kind of like, could you finish an iron man marathon with your arms tied behind your back and flat tires on the bike. You're 99.999% likely to fail, but if you pull if off, you're a legend.

    Get Canales a top 20 QB in the league and this team would be really, really competitive. He's coaching with handcuffs on. Young's Linsanity run to end last year where he looked like a below average player rather than an all-time bust killed this year before it started.

    Guys. I think our QB just might suck. Coaches are damn stubborn but getting this team to 5 wins with a player that bad in the single most important position in team sports should be impossible.

    If Cam would even consider answering the phone, you bring him back and play him the next year and a half. Other option is to continue playing the single worst QB of the past decade, lose the locker room, collapse another rebuild, and we repeat the death spiral of hiring and firing a new coach every two-three years until the eventual heat death of the universe.
