  1. So you're comparing Sam LaPorta to Hunter Henry and Freiermuth? I watched enough of Penn State to know that Warren is closer to Kelci in terms of fluid movement than any of them. That is why he is rated as highly as he is. Give the mini-Mahomes his Kelci. If we had listened to me in 2023 none of this would be necessary but here we are.
  2. Your username is a hint of how bad you are at this. That aside. Who is saying we need a Top 10 player at every position? Most of us are just saying Warren because he would give us that big, physical, fluid athlete at the TE position that would pair well with the style of ball Bryce likes to play. The issue isn't whether you have good tight ends or not. Plenty of guys are good at the position. Most of them are not as fluid of athletes as you see with Kelci, and I think Warren is that kind of guy. Furthermore, it could open the field up for the rest of the offense.
  3. You want to know who to pick? And this is easy, you take Tyler Warren first, Kenneth Grant second, Josiah Stewart third, Xavier Restrepo fourth, maybe Cam Skattebo 5th... Man, it's NOT HARD. At all.
  4. Do you want to die on that hill? And what is "inferior"? How "inferior" is the Mountain West to the ACC, really? There isn't as big of a gap as ESPN would like for you to believe. You also have to remember that he is playing behind a Boise State offensive line. He isn't playing behind Georgia's line in the Mountain West. So what you call "inferior", I call a level playing field. If he was just another dude who beat up on smaller schools, he wouldn't be considered to be drafted where he is.
  5. Warren is as fluid as Travis Kelci. Every other guy you mentioned but Bowers are stiff and they play stiff. The flexibility Kelci provides KC cannot be understated. As for you don't see what separates him? His highlight tape says enough. As for the volume issue, or "high school running back issue". The guy was the best player from the 3rd or 4th best team in the country. This ain't no 1A high school championship running back. This is your 7A running back in Texas who had 350 carries and 75 tackles.
  6. Skattebo, Warren, and Restrepo are my wish list. I'd like Josiah Stewart out of Coastal...erm...Michigan too, and he can be had on Day 3. With the offensive line playing the way it was, and five tuddy Bryce playing the way he has been, the running back room, tight end room, and receiver room all of the sudden look a whole lot better if you add those three. Restrepo, Theilen, and Warren to go along with Xavier to take the top off would present issues for any defense in the league. You got the carvers, you got the deep threat, and you've got the wrecking ball.
  7. It isn’t hard to project. Take Warren, Dan. This isn’t hard. The defensive picks on the line are talented deep into the third round this year. There are two elite tight end prospects. Take Warren.
  8. Warren had over 100 receptions as a Tight End on a team that made it to the semi-finals of the playoff. He was the best player on one of the final four best teams. And if Loveland is better, trade down and take Warren. Both are fine but Warren is a fluid athlete and Loveland is far more stiff in the hips. If you wanted Bryce to have a Kelci, you would take Warren. I think Bryce would benefit massively from having a tight end like Kelci as well. You’ve seen Mahomes efficiency drop as Kelci has aged. You saw Brady’s efficiency drop when Gronk retired. If you still think Bryce is a mini-Mahomes, you’ve got to get him a guy he can just scheme up with on the fly.
  9. Why do we need to draft a safety? We don’t. We just pulled a big money safety in Free Agency and wasting a pick there when your front four needs to be fixed is what will lead to continual problems. Speaking of which, I don’t even think Walker or Williams will fix that. I would pass on them and go defense in the 2nd round where the talent drop off is really not that big. So take the BPA. Take Warren. Morgan, if you read this, you must draft Tyler Warren.
  10. It won’t happen but those are two Pro Bowl players, almost guaranteed in my opinion. take the Coastal NT in the 2nd round (I think he transferred but I remember him from Coastal). We don’t need DB’s, either way. If we draft corner at any point I’m going to lose it. Corners are only as good as the front 4.
  11. Then maybe I need to publish mine. Had the Panthers followed my mock two years ago we would have had three more Pro Bowl players in 2024.
  12. At 8, you don’t pick to “take another step”. You pick to set a fuging stone. Take Warren. You can pick up the former Coastal NT who began his career there as a Tight End in the second round. He will do just as much to help the run defense as either of the Georgia guys. Take Restrepo in the 3rd if he’s there, if he’s not, take Skattebo. Then you’ll have Tush Push with Cam and Warren to go with your new NT who was once a TE.
  13. Out of prison I see. Hope all went well for you!
  14. May as well grab Tyler Warren. Bigger, nearly as fast, plays two positions but can line-up at four. They kept saying Bryce is a mini-Mahomes. But what has Mahomes been with Kelci on the decline? Give me Tyler Warren to see what Bryce can do with a guy he can just play some backyard ball with. No other position gives you that flexibility and Warren is not only the best tight end but one of the best receivers in the draft. Take Warren. Find a receiver you love later on. I'm not sure where Restrepo is going but Warren and Restrepo as the only two offensive picks would make me very, very happy this year. I'd also like Skattebo to add some physicality to the offense but beggers can't be choosers. Give me Warren and Restrepo, go defense later where the draft is deep. Walker is a JAG.
  15. I’m going to be saying we should have taken Tyler Warren 8 years from now. It is what it is man.
  16. Tyler… Warren… take Josiah Stewart in the second round (former Coastal player). You will get the same style of production while also nabbing one of the true blue chip guys in the draft.
  17. Small town anywhere is a slippery slope. Not sure how old you are but 2005 to 2011 was really bad too because of the opioid situation. Stuff was everywhere and a lot of lives and potential was ruined.
  18. 2nd round. tyler Warren first.
  19. Unless you want Tyler Warren, Abdul Carter, Jeanty, Omarion Hampton (he is going to beast, don’t @ me), the corner from Michigan, and that’s about it. Those are the “elite” prospects I’d say. And I list Hampton there as someone who dislikes UNC, to the core of the institution itself, its fans, the Walmart shelves, etc. Hampton is a dude and should be starting somewhere in 2025.
  20. Artificial intelligence doesn’t exist. it’s algorithmic, statistics based programming. There is nothing “intelligent” about it. Someone really should file a lawsuit against these AI companies because the original definition of AI is definitely not met. it’s like buying one of those juices and they market it as juice but then you check the label and it says “no juice contents” or something like that.
  21. This is what I call “the main character paradox”. It’s paradoxical because in one way, you are the main character in your life story. In terms of society, you are but a blip on the screen and sometimes you can enter the storyline. people who act like the main character of societies storyline tend to get there with disastrous behavior, like driving as if nothing bad will ever happen.
  22. I don't want the Steelers trade because they don't have a 2nd this year. Unless they sent us TJ Watt and their 1st, and we end up trading back up to get Tyler Warren.... Obviously not going to happen but that's the only way.
  23. Sad for everyone involved. Watched him at, I believe, South Alabama or Louisiana before he went to LSU. Can’t let bad decisions spiral. two families lost people over a few moments of poor judgment. Horrible.
