  1. If I lost 70 lbs I would be dead. So good work surviving that.
  2. Didn't trade him for peanuts. But yes, route runners are a no go here. Otherwise we would have had Matthew Golden or Tyler Warren.
  3. I think he got rid of Rivera too fast. Rivera wasn't the issue here, Hurney was.
  4. I sort of assumed that when we didn't bring in legitimate competition to push Bryce, but then again, this is the Panthers. Usually we won't show our cards until later. But, my disappointment bar just went way down now that Thielen is gone. He, in my opinion, has been the most exciting part of the last two years. Seeing an actual NFL wide receiver play for the Panthers was amazing while it lasted. Now we get go balls galore and have three guys who are route tree newbs. Bryce will get sacked as much as he was in 2023 and the offensive line will be blamed, but it won't be his fault. We all saw what Bryce looked like without Thielen last year. I expect more of the same.
  5. Hayden Hurst had some good years, DJ Chark was a 1,000 yard receiver but can't stay healthy. Miles Sanders was what, a 1,300 yard running back? Laviska Chenault isn't exactly an every down player and I still hate that he isn't here because he has a skillset that I love.
  6. This tells me that the Front Office likely doesn't see us as a playoff team this year. That's ridiculous considering what we gave up for Bryce and that he's in his third year.
  7. Don’t worry, they’ve got those 3 meter thick walls, the super cooler, the pond, etc. to cool off that super computer sitting on his shoulders. We will be A Okay.
  8. He’s a career killer at this point.
  9. The Lions just lost the two coaches which really made Sunday's go. Dan Campbell isn't an X's and O's kind of coach. That all fell on Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn. I would almost certainly expect a regression, maybe even to .500, for the Lions.
  10. I think keeping Horn with Thielen is the better approach. At this point he’s more than just a player to the guys in the room and even the quarterback. He’s a coach on the field and on the sideline. If the Vikings want him, they will pony up, period.
  11. It sounds like he inserted a prompt into ChatGPT and ran with it. I really despise the lack of writing ability.
  12. Don't get me back on the "keep Darnold, keep Wilks, keep Foreman, trade down, take Charbonnet, Torrance, Mimms, and maybe Kincaid depending on what we got in a trade down." Those were my desires in 2023. Tepper wouldn't answer my call. He's reaping what he sowed. And all of us has had precious time wasted in our lives that we will never get back supporting his business.
  13. People aren't saying the Vikings would do that. What those of us who are saying this, are saying, is that is the only way. If the Vikings don't bite, they don't bite. They shouldn't bite. But you never say never to that number.
  14. That's NOT what that says. "If the Panthers are willing to take on some of Thielen's contract..." Which we very well may be depending on what pick the Vikings would offer. I'd ship him off for a two and cover half of his contract. That would be a massive overpayment by the Vikings but it's not my problem. In the eventual situation that we are building with a new QB next year, we may need more picks.
  15. People keep forgetting about that game like it didn't happen. Sure, the Cardinals and the Falcons were defeated, but it took overtime. Against the real competition for the division, we are so, so far behind. If Baker can play even slightly more consistent on a play to play basis, Tampa Bay could be a dark horse for the Bowl. He's pretty consistent game to game and now he's really got it down to play to play.
  16. It was mentioned earlier in this thread, and then again just below you. Adam is helping Bryce call out the defensive play, and helping with protections it seems. It becomes more obvious when he's out of the game and our offense looks like post chorizo soft baby poo.
  17. If he is the one helping Bryce read defenses, do we really want him gone when we still lost to Tampa 48-14 close to the end of the season? Do we want him gone? I'd say no.
  18. They want us to eat part of his hit, it confirms that we aren't pushing for the playoffs this year. Price went up, take a 2nd, we eat $8 million of his salary.
  19. You're going to be changing your username to PleaseCutT-Mac by Year 3. I'll change mine to "ShouldHaveTakenWarren".
  20. Good, tell them to kick rocks for that. It's that simple. You don't trade your best receiver in a year where you are pushing for the playoffs, with two young guys as your up and comers. Adam's value is on the field and off, and no one can replace that. You trade that away in Week 9 if you find yourself 2-6. Not before the year starts.
  21. He and Shedeur both looked better than Bryce has. I'm not sold on Cam Ward. He's got some bad, bad footwork problems. Dude will make some wow plays but he will also make some wow mistakes this year. His footwork reminds me a lot of Cam's and that was never his strong suit, and why he failed after his shoulder injury.
  22. I wouldn't be opposed to trading for Sanders and seeing if he could be developed here. We have zero plans, and I really don't think it would take Sanders long to produce more than Bryce has. Plus, he's on a 5th round rookie contract and if he became the guy, you instantly have three years to build a core of talent, much of which we already have. I get flamed for this opinion but it is what it is, and I've been right about these type of things the past three years. I said Nix would be a good NFL QB. Wanted to keep Darnold and trade down in 2023. Said QB play wasn't the QB's fault under Rhule, but rather the offensive design. Give me Sanders in the room for a year with Bryce and Dalton, see what he can develop in to on the cheap. There are no really quality QB's coming out this year that aren't Allar or Manning, and Manning may not even be coming out.
  23. If you don't want to part with something, you will keep it. Until the asking price gets to a certain point. You don't trade your best receiver for a 6th round pick. Period. Periodt. Don't even answer the phone without a 3rd being offered. They want him, they will pay for him. Otherwise, tell them to kick rocks.
  24. I keep hearing this but I'm not buying it. The only QB I'd really want would be Manning. Maybe Allar ends up alright but I'm not betting the farm on him. Who else is there? Carson Beck? Quality player with time, folds under pressure. I've watched Joey Aguilar for two years and believe he could be a Day 3 pick which is career back-up with some upside. Good kid. I just don't know that I'm buying "QB rich". There are no generational dudes in this draft and it's reminding me a lot of 2023 when we took Bryce. There is no Daniels, Williams, Maye, and Nix in this class. Keep in mind that's also why I wanted to trade down in 2023. Had we traded down, and sucked, we would have DJ Moore still, and we would have Jayden Daniels, Caleb Williams, or Drake Maye. Let that sink in.
