  1. Ton of defensive talent later in the draft. Go with the sure thing. Go with Warren.
  2. Over Romo? No. And none of them touch what Jon Gruden was.
  3. Why would we take him when we could take Tyler Warren? Warren is both a receiver and a tight end? Pair him with Sanders and you have a pretty damn good tight end room that provides you a ton of flexibility.
  4. Clearly Tyler Warren… If I were the GM but I’m not. We will reach for an edge guy who will be JAG. I promise you that. Despite the number of JAG’s we could pick-up later.
  5. Tyler Warren? A 6’6 250 lb tight end that had over 100 receptions this past year isn’t uber talented?
  6. He can throw deep and he can run fast. That’s about all I’ve seen from him. Nothing the Jets do will ever surprise me though.
  7. Now go draft Tyler Warren and Golden. You could run 13 personnel and go empty or line up heavy to run. You’d never have to huddle again. forum would have to be changed to the Carolina NO HUDDLE…. 33 hit me hard man.
  8. Tyler Warren, who caught over 100 balls and is 6’5 255 lbs is not Taysom Hill. lol
  9. Every system can use a tight end. If the Panthers drafted Young to be a mini-Mahomes, Warren is going to be as close as you can get to a Kelci. Take him, let them improv.
  10. I didn't hear Warren. I heard the opposite of what I want, which is typical. When we took Bryce, I wanted to trade down and nab Kincaid, Torrance, Charbonnet, and Mims. All of whom have been contributing players to teams that took them. Oh well. I want Warren, we won't take him, he will become an All-Pro. Such is the cycle.
  11. Good thing it's not Twitter. You guys and your virtue signals. In the spirit of why you won't click on it. It's clearly the Third Reich. Colts, Panthers, Stanford.
  12. I would take Tyler Warren. Trade down and take him if you have to. Easily the most sure bet you could take in the Top 10 and would really, really open the offense up. Defense is an issue, yes, but you don't whiff on a defensive player just to say you tried. Take the sure bet at 8. Take Tyler Warren.
  13. Gonna be Tyler Warren. You can address defense first by drafting a majority of defensive players. There is no one worth the 8th pick that we need. Warren, all the way
  14. As an App fan, I got the Tez experience. I think 3rd is about right for him. I’d be jumping for joy if the Panthers got Warren, Restrepo, and Skattebo though. I think all will be first year contributors
  15. Gotta be Warren. I know people compare him to Pittsburgh that’s lazy. Warren is possibly even better of a prospect than Brock who came out last year. Give me the best tight end and one of the best receivers in one pick, all day.
  16. He was there for the App State game I thought? Watching their line of 5 stars get destroyed time and time again may be the pinnacle of my experience as a college football fan solely because it is set up to never happen again. It’s a shame. that said, this guy doesn’t have what you want at 8. If we were picking 29th, I’d say go for it.
  17. Restrepo is going to make a lot of draft experts look stupid. Mark my words on that one. with Josh McDaniels back in New England, it’s a near certainty he goes there, catches 50 passes in the regular season and then another 50 in the playoffs because Edelnut mystique. Restrepo was made for the Patriots with McDaniels there.
  18. So a linebacker? An end rusher? We need an expert pass rusher, not just another guy. We need defensive linemen. Any time we have been worth a crap, we have had great interior line play. Trade down to 10, draft Tyler Warren. Then you can go defense the next two picks because you just got one of the best receivers and the best tight end in the draft without reaching for yet another wide out.
  19. If we only get to 6 wins in Bryce's third year, he may be on the way out. As far as rookie contracts go, this is where you expect to finally be able to compete. The team trading so much to get him hurt this process, so it isn't necessarily on Bryce, but it is on him and the coaches to maximize his ability to make the loss of draft capital a positive in the win column; to this point, it hasn't been.
  20. Journalism is dead. That much is for sure. People go to school to learn about journalism, then write on other topics, which seems backwards to me; or at least they used to write. now they enter their prompt into algorithmic coding bot ChatGPT and get an article. AI does not exist, by the traditional definition. Defintion was changed a few years ago to market to businesses and eventually consumers. It's just algorithmic coding.
  21. That's not addition by subtraction. That's girl math.
  22. False. You take Tyler Warren. Periodt. Punto. Period. You say "we don't trade for generational talent" then you say we skip on potentially one of the generational talents available... Make up your mind.
  23. If you draft Warren then you get one of the best receivers in the draft. Two problems addressed with one pick.
  24. Warren is BPA and we are devoid of talent in a lot of places, not just defense. Reaching for need at 8 is a horrible policy. Draft Warren. Take Skattebo in the 4th. Everyone else can be defensive picks. I want to see Tyler Warren and Cam Skattebo line up to run the Panther Prowl from the 1 yard line, with no one able to stop it, ever.
