Those two scoring drives were the most NFL-esque drives I’ve seen Bryce engineer. No luck. Overcoming defensive mistakes. Only for two special teams mistakes in a row to happen.

Coaching? This isn’t coaching. The Panthers just aren’t a good team. They’ve outperformed their talent level all season. This is baseline. Canales is going to get the blame but it’s not his fault. Curt Cignetti couldn’t squeeze any more juice out of this squad.

This team sucks so bad man. Going 8-9 was worst case scenario for getting better. Instead we draft late, we are bereft of talent on defense, and it’s just garbage. they sucked me back in to watching every game, carving four hours out of my weekend, for this. I watched every game for years and years and this year I said screw it, not doing it. I’ll catch up later.

I’m probably the 100th person to say this but you must be new here. Bryce has his issues but he is far from the worst. Almost no QB in the NFL could have won that game against Tampa with how our run game looked.

I suppose every NFC team should be happy the Panthers are playing the Rams because the Rams now have to travel East, on a short week, to take on a team that they already lost to. Furthermore a team with a losing record in the playoffs has never lost in the Wild Card. If we could somehow get the Rams again, and then get the Packers somehow back in Charlotte, we could be alright.

It isn’t ideal. To go 8-9 into the playoffs, get screwed on draft position while not having a team capable of truly competing with the top of the league yet. I also hope this doesn’t blind the front office to Bryce’s short comings. I’ve convinced myself that even a modicum of a deep threat at receiver and a QB who could get them the ball would unlock the potential of this squad.
